It’s probably just to make the cut easier. It’s much harder to ensure everything is even when the hair is curly. If the guy wanted straight hair, he would have had keratin. It’s kind of a thing on this channel.

Jordie Madison as someone with curly hair it’s wayyyy easier to cut the hair while curly, just because you can see how the hair actually ends up in its natural state. cutting curly hair while it’s straight ends up looking bad because when the hair reverts you have pieces that end up different lengths because not every curl is the exact same. the best way to cut curly hair is while it’s dry and in its natural state
I started watching Makki's video recently and I'm addicted. He's a MASTER when it come to hairstyling. I'm sure he could do ladies hair as he's so good with all lengths of men's hair. I would love to have him cut mine!! Not sure I could afford him though. I'll keep watching.

The comments are funny, and I agree, his desire to show a dramatic ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics are sometimes over the top (lol), but he is still a skilled hair stylist and barber. cory I literally just thought the same thing. If there is an appreciation for curly hair, we evidently won't see evidence of that in these videos, which is a real shame because some of these dudes have gorgeous curly hair, and after cutting and trimming it, he goes loco on the keratin. It's almost like a crime to just be yourself these days. Not everyone wants or needs straight hair.
