Excellent detailed demo. The torque specs were very helpful as well.

Things came apart wayyy to easy for the amount of rust

Important question, CAN this job be done without the ball joint press? Is there a way to just hit it in place? Anything

I used a piece of pipe and a jack

Do those ball joints need to be greased or do they come just ready to install

Depends which you buy. Those wits zits on require greasing. Greasing it at least twice a year mine lasted 10 years

hello , good work! im having trouble with the upper control arm, i cant seem to get it to move up enough to release the upper ball joint( which is free) any pointers? i even loosened the upper control arm bolt/nuts and its still doesn't want to move. thank you scott

Use a floor jack and raise it off the lower ball joint once free then lower the jack off and it should come down off the top ball joint if it's already free.

that's NOT 2007-2014 Silverado. that's on older model, please correct your title as it will mislead people.
