Buying stolen land in a country that is recognised only from the country that occupies it is not a good idea

Another negative is the water quality and sewage system, as you can't flush toilet paper in the toilet

    A good video !!!
Prices increase daily. Prices are unpredictable.
Food safety is not controlled. Food is highly chemicaled.
The traffic is terrible and getting worst
Medicine is expensive. Private hospitals are expensive.
    Emergency services too slow.
Prisons sre full with Immigrants who cannot be sent back due to lack of government funds.
An incressing number of illegal immigrants have increased crime rates.
Drug crimes is on the increase
Sea and beaches are getting dirtier.
    Very bad infrastructure.
    Daily electricity cuts
    Low internet connection.
If the border crossing closes then your only açcess into or leaving Northern Cyprus is only via Turkey using Ercan.
With flights into Larnaca, flights to)from Ercan is expensive compared to flights to/from Larnaca.
There is no local transport system. The intercity bus services is literally pre 74 standards
Social services isn't a high priority.
However, ( a big however) another concern is the title deeds ! Unless it's pre 74 Turkish title deeds, all other TRNC title deeds carry higher risks and the real issues of ownership of property or land.
Until a solution is reached, the pre 1974 owner is still the internationally recognised owner of the property or land! Let's face it, only 1 country recognises TRNC and 190 don't!
All Private Banks in TRNC don't give mortgages for TRNC title deeds, therefore proving that even Private banks recognise the fact that title deeds issue is a true issue!
Money laundering and corruption in TRNC is also on the increase.
However, all these considered, unless you have pre Turkish title deeds, all other title deeds are simply too risky to invest your hard earned income. The cons far outweigh the pro's!
The recent arrest of a prominent Turkish Cypriot lawyer Mr. A.K. in Rome proves my point!
"one cannot claim ownership with exchange title deeds untill the land is purchased from the the pre 74 owner", says 190 countries!
With respect, intelligent people recognise that the 'peace intervention of Turkey into Cyprus although is justified ( 1974)' however, it doesn't gve title deed ownership. The days of 'conquering by sword gives ownership' is definitely over !!!

Great Video, Just been in Esentepe for a month at our new villa I purchased. I agree with everything you said, particularly the trash and rubbish left at beautiful locations, I remember going to the reservoir in west of the Island, and Karpaz peninsula, the views and vista was amazing, then i looked down at the crap all around, why can't people take home the rubbish they took there! I would highly recommend TRNC

Hi Artiom love the video & love north Cyprus as I’ve been going for many years & have my summer apartment in Girne. Cyprus offers a beautiful happy & healthy lifestyle for sure. If only the electricity power cuts were sorted out then it would have no cons as it’s the only one I can think of. Other than that KKTC is paradise 🏖

Hi, the sum should be equivalent min month salary in North Cyprus (currently its about 10.000 turkish lira) x 12 (if you own property). If you rent a property, its x3 times more. It's for 1 year residency permit

Hi Artiom. Great video, we have met before in Girne whilst I was on holiday. I would like to ask whether i would need a large amount of funds to come to Kirenia for a 6 month stay? You mentioned £10-£20k, but does that apply if I am not emigrating but coming for a very extended holiday and maybe to work a little in bars or as a Massage Therapist?

    • @propertynorthcyprus
      @propertynorthcyprus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Hi Andrew, glad to hear from you! If you planning to stay here legally for a while and you don't have working visa, you can do permit residency on rental contract. And in this case it's required for you to show some amount of money on your bank account which is equal to minimal month salary in Northern Cyprus for every family member (currently its 7000 TL) for 6/12 months. 7000 TL x 6 or 7000 TL x 12.

Hi, could you give some inside into the tax system? How much tax do I have to pay, if I own a company or how much do I have to pay if, I am employed in some other country.

    • @propertynorthcyprus
      @propertynorthcyprus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi, the basic corporate income tax rate is 10% for all companies. Additionally, 15% withholding tax on net chargeable income is levied after corporation tax for each company. So all together you have to pay 23.5% for your company's respective income.
If you work remotely and live here, you pay taxes in your country of origin.

    • @propertynorthcyprus

I like to know that for employment if someone wished to come or got an offer from North Cyprus so which visa do they get?
Or do they have to come on a visitor's Visa and then filed for an employment work permit with the help of an employer?
    Please suggest.

    • @propertynorthcyprus

thank you for your comment. If you got a job offer, your employer sends you an invitation and with this paper you come to North Cyprus and get a working visa here. All issues of getting a working visa is always a responsibility of the employer. If you got here as a tourist and found a job here still most likely you will have to leave the country and come back with this invitation
