Very informative... I am 74 and considering relocating to larnaca or paphos cyprus not northern cyprus... My concern is long term visa requirements? Also I heard northern cyprus has a fresh water crisis?
Long term visa requirements depend on what type of permit residence you apply for. If you bought a property, you will need to show the contract and amount of money on your bank account equal to MIN North Cyprus salary x 12 months. Minimal salary currently is 9885 TL. In case you want to get permit residence based on high income, the sum will be 3 times more than if you own a property, the renting contract has to be registered in tax office. North Cyprus doesn't have a water crisis. Plus here you will have less expences compare to South Cyprus, property costs much cheaper and it is safer here, minimal crime
Kyrenia was built by the first Greeks, the Mycynaeans who came to Cyprus after the Trojan War. Its population before the invasion of Turkey were mainly Greek Cypriots. Cyprus is not divided but invaded by Turkey. Turkey has committed genocide against the local Christian Cypriots so that they can create a muslim Turkish state in Cyprus. The Turks have stolen Christian Cypriots homes and villages and changed their names and addresses. They have stolen our Christian churches to make them mosques and they took Greek ancient archaeological sites to make money from them.

Hi, Kyrenia would be a better option if you are looking for good gyms and big swimming pools
@@propertynorthcyprus Thanks, I am planning to come to North Cyprus. Are there any short term rentals for 1 month including internet?
yes, there are short term rentals, you can search through airbnb for example
@@propertynorthcyprus Thanks, how do you cope with Power outages?
outages happen once in a while, but it's managable, some residential complexes have generators, as well as restaurants and shops
