I love this era for you, Ash! you absolutely deserve it and I'm so glad you're chasing after what brings you joy and have the love/support from others. i'm about to enter fun-employment soon too to explore my creative inner child and it's scaring the crap out of me (fears I didn't even know I had lol). ALSO! It was so so so nice meeting you at your 2010 throwback party -- hope to bump into ya again!
thank u!!!! i felt SO much love and support from so many friends + family, what a special thing to have hehehe. woohoo! congratulations to your soon-to-be fun-employment, i hope it brings you everything you've been wanting especially as the new year approaches. hahaha YO U SHOULD JOURNAL AND DO THE ARTIST'S WAY! seriously, the daily journaling saved me. it sounded so woo-woo bs to me, but I'm so glad i stuck through it and committed to it. it was also so nice to meet u as well, thank you for coming and saying bye before you left hehehe
Awwww girl I absolutely loved this! I wish I had honored my time in unemployment the way you had. This is so special and I’m so proud of you for putting yourself first!!
thank u lovey. i watched your unemployed vlog when it launched months ago and I feel like u were dabbling in the hobbies with nail art + getting into some fiber art!! so not all fun and play was lost (:
sis you really got me crying with your thoughts on the last page and it isnt even my period ohmygosh! I feel like as silly as it sounds, it's so hard to find and just do the things we love, and i'm so happy for you in this era, and am leaving inspired
girrrrl i was also tearing up when writing it down. lots and lots of learning and unlearning for sure of what's the "right" thing to do behind the context of what the "right" thing to do is as you put it. thank you for your kind words and for following along for the journey
Those illustrations are soo cute! Also I love your necklace (the one you wore with the red knit tank top?); can I know where that is from 🥺? thank you!!
Ah thank you to both! The necklace is from Ermine in Nolita, NY. They also have an online store it’s one of my favorite pieces and the owners are amazing
So much time HAHA I worked on this for about 8 days.. around 4-9 hours per day so around 72 hours? But it’s more than just stitching videos together. I think the brainstorming part of trying to convey a point takes the longest idk hopefully I can get faster at it but otherwise I totally empathize with the burnout TH-camrs experience
i love the way you're documenting your silly little adventures in this silly little life
we love documenting silly little adventures hehehe
