Hi Arthur, we will be going on the same cruise next year, how much NZD spare money would you recommend, we are a young family of 4. Any recommended money exchanges in Adelaide?
Hi yumin, thanks for watching. The cost to get from pt chalmer to Dunedin was $35 NZ PER PERSON, Return. Princess will tell you otherwise and infer you can use it all day. Be prepared for a lot of miscommunication and misturths from Princess Cruises. For your family, that would be $140 NZ, and you'll be paying that again for the Lyttleton/Christchurch transfer as well. Another young family simply refused to pay that much for a transfer. When in NZ, we used our bank debit cards for purchases on land (NZ is more expensive than OZ) and had a credit card linked to our cruise account. We budgeted $5000 for onboard purchases and also budgeted $250 per port day as well. Tip: Don't link your everyday bank account to your cruise account. Princess Cruises put a hold on your account until all your onboard purchases are paid for. Hope that has answered your question Feel free to ask any other questions and stay tuned for future vlogs Arthur Cruises
