Viva ..... Las Vegas ?? No ..... NEW ZEALAND !!!!! 😂😂😂
You said there were filthy people in the buffet. Can you be more specific? We’ve never found a Princess. We’ve never found it to be dirty on multiple cruises.
On this cruise, we found people coughed on the food, trying out the food before plating it on their own plate, not washing their hands before entering the buffet, poor manners, being rude to the staff, at the time it was a return to sailing from the pandemic, so people weren't following the protocols hence the ship was full of covid. I could go on if you like.
This cruces will be in Puerto Rico Base port on November 2024.
Thanks for the update
I like it!!!
Thank you
Best wishes 🍀🙏😊😊

Thanks for watching. It's a great little spot and it's used by so many people for different things.
Hello again Arthur. Another enjoyable video of your travels. Congratulations on your Family’s happy celebration 🎉 Just to update you on our most recent cruise to NZ on the Coral Princess 12/2/24. The cruise was fantastic, weather perfect, we made it into every port. Princess totally looked after us. Excursions booked through Princess wonderful. Thanks to your helpful NZ videos and advise we were well prepared . 👍😀
I'm so glad you had a fantastic trip and really enjoyed you time on the high seas. Its good to hear you had a good experience with Princess as well. It always helps that the weather is on your side. Thank you for your kind words. Glad it help out You'll have to pass on the details of that tour provider you use. Might use them Thanks for watching
I also heard you mention a lot of dirty people in the horizon. In all honesty, they made people wash their hands and sanitsie. I never saw anything in our time onboard that made me want to call any people dirty. The food is amazing in the Horizon. The staff are fantastic. I would NEVER have referred to it as the pig pen. I found your video very opinionated and is giving false ideas to other people who are wanting to cruise on the Grand Princess. To refer to the Crooners Bar as to where all the alcoholics hang out is the biggest load of baloney I have ever heard. We sat in there many times and not once did I see anyone who had over indulged. For the record, we didnt drink alcohol while sitting there. So I am making a judgement as a sober person. I am not sure what you would expect to see in the onboard shops. I felt they had plenty of things in there. They cannot please everyone. I feel you are a very hard person to please. I would love to know your opinion about McDonalds restraurants. For anyone wanting to cruise one the Grand Princess, please do not take Arthur's negative reviews as being serious. We were on the same cruise and not any of his negative comments are true. Maybe he has been paid by another cruiseline.
Thanks for your comments. We have cruised many times with different cruise lines. We have had a wide range of experiences, from good to bad. We cruised during the restart of cruising in Australia (jan 23 not as you say "few weeks ago," so things may have changed in the year since we travelled on her.) with covid rules in place. We found the ship was covid heavy in infections cause people were not following the rules, in fact the captain in his daily announcement was very concerned having high numbers of people presenting to the medical centre with covid cause people where not following the rules. I observed that the boozers tend to hang out there. I NEVER said anything bad about the crew. In fact, you would have heard me say that our waiter and sever (in the MDR) were fantastic. In fact, we had great meals in the crown grill and the chefs table. I'm sorry, having people who coughed (without masks on) all over the food in the horizon food court was not acceptable. We observed many people behaviouring badly in there. The food was in there was the worst we ever had on a cruise. Again, that's my opinion. That's was our nickname for it. Overall, the cruise for us a family wasn't the best. It was certainly in the bottom 5 cruises we have done. These are my opinions and if you don't believe me, check out the reviews from other people who cruise the same cruise, the ship even made national & international news because of covid and gastro outbreaks and more recent recent cruises with Grand Princesshave had the same problems as we had. Enjoy your time cruising on the high seas.
Wow, I’m going on it in about three weeks. Hope it’s not as bad as you say, it’s our first cruise! 😮
Thanks for your comment. We were just unlucky with the cruise, there's some things that were out of our control. However, we did have some good times onboard. I highly recommended Crown Grill. One of the best steaks house at sea (next to the chops grill on board RCI) and if you are able to get into the chefs table. It's worth the money. We stuck to our family motto of making the best out of it. Enjoy your sailing and see you on the high seas
@arthurscruises9310 can you please elaborate about the not to pleasant experiences in One 5 please. We never had anything negative on our 14 days in jan 24
we were on the Grand a few weeks ago and it was FANTASTIC. I am not sure what Arthur was talking about with the not too pleasant experiences in One 5 night club. I find his video is very opinionated and not 100% honest. Referring to the Crooners Bar as to where all the alcholics hang out was the biggest load of baloney. We sat in there many times and not once did I see anyone who had over indulged in alcohol. Referring to the Horizon as the pig pen could not be further from the truth. I think when people do these videos they get very big headed and like to dramatise things. Arthur sure has done that. It would be interesting to know the dates he travelled as it seems to have been the same cruise we were on and if it was, nothing could be further from the truth with his negative comments.

We never went to 150 nightclubs. Cause we are not a nightclub family. Our waiter and server told us that there were a couple of altercations in there. Sailed on her in Jan 23. So we didn't cruise the same cruise as you because it was a year apart from your cruise. Again, things could have changed in the year period.
Damn dude I can’t even finish watching this. You’ve got a really arrogant entitled attitude. I think that ship would be happy to have you not sail it again
Thanks for your comment. These are my opinions. Yes, im entitled to them and of the sailing we had. Compared to other cruise lines and other similar sized ships, this has to be the worst ship we cruised on. Half the toilets were closed off due to damage cause by other passengers (never repaired while we were on for 20 nights) . The same goes for the lifts as well. Hopefully, you can see that having poorly maintained infrastructure on board can cause people to feel rather let down in their experiences. Also, this wasn't me having a bad experience, other passengers who were elite status were also disappointed with the state of the ship. However thank you for watching, see you on the high seas
I was just in this room like last night lol
Hope you enjoyed it 😊
2:26 Mate you got ripped shuttle bus return is only $15 AU each purchased on board
Unfortunately, we didn't have the option to purchase on board. Hence why many passengers were frustrated at the situation and the way princess handled it. Princess Cruises seems not to care about passengers who didn't purchase shore excursions. They made that very clear.
Such a shame about the problems you had in Melbourne. Thanks for sharing your holiday with us
Thanks Ken for watching. That's one of the reasons why we won't sail with them again. Stay tuned for more adventures 😊
Thank you Arthur for your reply to my comment. We sailed on the Quantum of the Seas recently, Brisbane to Airlie Beach. Wow! What a huge ship, we throughly enjoyed the well organised cruise from start to finish, and the food was most enjoyable, and on board activities were great fun. So your planned trip on Royal Caribbean should be a great success. After our NZ cruise we have booked a P & O Bounty Cruise to Norfolk Is, Fiji, and surrounding Islands in July, on the Pacific Encounter. Afterwards we will save up for our next adventure. 😀
Oh wow. That's amazing. I always want to sail to the Norfolk Islands and Papua New Guinea as well. That's what I liked about royal caribbean. It's just a good cruise line for a family of all generations ❤️ Hopefully you'll put something up on TH-cam of your adventures

Thank you for you informative series on the Grand Princess to NZ, it has been very helpful advice with our upcoming cruise in February. Sorry that you were disappointed with communication from Princess. You have a beautiful family. Aunty is a fun character also. I shall watch out for your vlogs in future. Where are you planning to cruise next time? Safe travels. 😀
Thanks Debra for watching. I'm glad you got a lot of information from my vlogs. Yes, it was very disappointing that princess cruises treat their passengers like the way we were. We are planning a family cruise to the South Pacific with Royal Caribbean.
How many Aussies were arrogant? I don't know a lot that are, but you might have just had some near you that were. I find younger people can be around toursity things, but those over 30 (like everywhere on earth) seem to have decent manners. It really depends on the groups you're around. Great video btw, pitty you bumped into the few Aussies that seem arrogant. As a country we're the opposite of that.
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate you watching and thank you for commenting. We've been cruising for a long time, cruised with different lines and yes, us Aussies are generally good. However, this was our first time cruising with Princess and we found the Aussies onboard rather offensive. Very demanding and always felt like they were entitled. However, we also felt like Princess where giving us different product and experiences. Which was different from what we researched beforehand. While we enjoyed the NZ, we didn't enjoy the people who made it worse for others needlessly. We won't be cruising with them again Thank you for watching my content 😊
Hi Arthur, once again very informative video. We are sailing in February to NZ on Coral Princess, stopping at all the same ports you have visited so all your videos have been great. Disappointing re Sky Tower. We were considering the tower but now maybe not. Princess has a shore excursion bus trip around Auckland also over to Devonport, then Ferry ride back to Auckland and walk back to ship. This maybe for us, we are not seasoned overseas cruisers so the planned excursions is for us. I could see in the background whilst you were on deck , the comings and goings of the ferries so the ferry terminal looks close to the ship. ?? Question please, in Wellington, we are undecided what excursion to choose 1. Cable car then Museum or 2. scenic bus trip around Wellington and stopping at Mt Victoria. Any thoughts.
Hi Debra, once again, thank you for continuing to watch my vlogs. If I were you, I would do the bus tour, then the Devonport ferry back. The ferries were next to the pier to the ship. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk back (dont hold me to it). The previous NZ cruise with Royal Caribbean, we did the bus tour/sky tower tour. We enjoyed that. Re Wellington, do the cable car tour. It is easy. Great views, the Cafe was a great place to have lunch & the botanic Gardens are nearby. I hope that has helped you out. Feel free to ask any questions or dm me on Instagram arthurs_photography_adelaide
Some fabulous footage of the ocean, the sail-away, and that sunset, and a great introduction for us of a city we know little about but would absolutely love to visit.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching ☺️ It's a great city to visit and easy to walk around and enjoy the sites. I hope this has helped you to plan to visit this beautiful city ☺️
That really is a short time to be in port for a city like Auckland. We would be frustrated with that too. Interesting to hear your comments about the tower. We've only ever seen it in those travel programmes where it looks like its been cleared out for the host to film in. But a hot and crowded space like that would be unpleasant we'd imagine.
Thank you for watching. It's much appreciated 😌 Yes, it was a short time because of Port and tidal requirements. The ship had to leave early in order to clear the harbour traffic. We were frustrated with the lack of communication from princess on many issues. Sky Tower is worth a visit, but with that, many people visiting it made it unbearable. Next time will do something around the harbour as it was much closer and easily accessible. Again thank you for watching and leaving a comment. It's much appreciated. Tune in for the next vlog about the return journey to Australia 🇦🇺
Nice views from the Sky tower and I enjoyed your time lapse.
Thanks for watching Ken. Yes the views are amazing once up there. But the ride up there is horrible.... at least for me. Glad you enjoyed the time-lapse. 😊
8I really enjoyed Aukland, I visited Waheke island and a winery, it was great. Thanks for bringing back the memory.
Thanks for watching, yes Auckland is a great place to visit. I think I would do what you did next time. Thanks for watching
Where are the videos for days 2, 3, and 4?
all my days are uploaded (including the ones you have mentioned), here is the playlist of this cruise, feel free to watch this vlogs th-cam.com/play/PLZ2yDOpMbhQPJEpaB3ecghXWeRxveZ5gQ.html
I am doing a similar cruise on Coral Princess in February 2024. Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately the visas are only available on my cellphone. Nothing on paper.
Hey there, thanks for watching. so glad your doing that cruise. we really enjoyed visiting New Zealand for the second time. hope you have a great time as well. as for your visas, it should be fine on your phone (dont quote me on that), even better if you can print off the visas.
@@arthurscruises9310 I much prefer paper. My phone can get lost, broken or discharged. It can even fall in the pool. I want paper visas but cannot figure out how to get them.
@@cruisecrazy7066 perhaps try using a laptop or a pc at a library and get it printed
@@arthurscruises9310 Thanks. That MIGHT work.
Hello Arthur. 😀 At last, I have been waiting for your next video to be uploaded of your New Zealand cruise. Another good video, enjoyed the photography and sunsets. Laughed at your change of mind with climbing the Mount. No way I would try to do it, and then all those steps on your so called ‘short cut’ up the other hill. 👍
Thanks for your kind words 🙇♂️ When you see the mount up close, you change your mind and I changed my mind when I saw everyone heading there. As for the shortcut, I thought it was going through a forest area not up the small mount!! But it was worth it, the views were amazing. The whole area was amazing as well. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. Working on Auckland, hopefully be uploaded very soon.
16:20 The Top Deck Lounge originally was a pool deck actually, when these ships operated in Greece as Superfast III and IV. The pools (one adult, one children's) were located right in the middle, where now the lounge seats are.
Oh wow, I didn't know they originally had pools. I did knew they come from Greece 🇬🇷 and refurbished for the Australian market. Thank you for watching 😊
Thank you for answering. I shall await more videos with great interest. Your Aunty on the motorcycle ride with her friend was great fun to see. 😀 Aunty enjoys life 👍
Yes, she certainly does. We had a ball with her aboard 😊
Recently found your channel. Very enjoyable and full of information regarding your New Zealand Cruise. We have a cruise booked February’24. I have been researching shore excursions to the various towns. Your video was excellent regarding shuttle buses and ways to get around the towns rather than Princess Excursions. Prices soon add up going through Princess. I have been watching your other videos also, awaiting more on New Zealand.
Thank you so much for watching. I'm truly humbled. Yes, it can get pricey when going through the cruise line. Pro tip, find out exactly where the shuttle drops you off, then find attractions nearby, and ask the local tourism operators for tours or places to visit. It's often better advice than the cruise line. Just keep in mind the ship's boarding time when exploring on your own. In my next episode, I explore Tauranga. Where everything is within walking distance from the ship/dock area.
Arthur the views from the top of the mountain were Spectacular. The trolley car ride looked like it would be a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing. Sincerely adventures of David and Aaron.
Yes the views from the top are beautiful. Thank you for watching my vlog ❤️
We have family that live close to Napier
Thanks Ken for watching. How great it that to have family live near a great art deco town.
Enjoying the vlog series. Love the cruise 🐒 's. Maybe one day we will get to visit Kangaroo island. Sincerely adventures of david and aaron
Thanks for watching this vlog and yes we like watching them as well. K.I. is a beautiful place. I would go back there again.
Enjoyed the video cannot wait to catch up on the rest of your adventure. Maybe one day we will sail Princess cruise lines. Sincerely adventures of david and aaron.
Thanks for watching 😊 It was our first time cruising with them. However we would rush back to them.
Nice video my friend enjoyed seeing the interior cabin On princess cruise lines. We have stayed in an interior cabin once many years ago aboard carnival cruise line
Thanks for watching. It suited our needs.
Your channel contents are very nice but you are not getting enough views on your channel
Thanks for watching and thank you for your kind words. Feel free to share my content with your family and friends
Wellington looks a good place to visit. But a long way to go
Thanks for watching Ken. It's not that far, just 19 hours or so 🤣🤣 But it's worth it
Was the buffet food good on the Grand?
Thank you for watching and commenting. Unfortunately the buffet food was terrible. We referred to it as the "pig pen!" It was like you were given slops, staff didn't care if you did "washie washie" or not. Often we saw people cough over food, handle food and put it back and generally behaviour badly. 90% of our meals we ate were in the MDR or speciality restaurant. The food was on point and the customer service was always great. Hope that answered your question.
@@arthurscruises9310 thank you for letting me know. I’ll consider the Sapphire or Majestic
I think the next ships give a different experience compared to the older ships.
You can also catch the local bus which will take you into Christchurch city for under $3.00
That's for that tip. We thought to do that but where told by the local port authorities that it wasn't recommended as it would create issues for the locals and there wasn't any guarantee that the local service would get us back in time. Thanks for watching really appreciate it 😊
Not a good idea. Overcrowding on local buses has caused problems for locals trying to get to school and work.
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching
Hi Arthur, we will be going on the same cruise next year, how much NZD spare money would you recommend, we are a young family of 4. Any recommended money exchanges in Adelaide?
Hi yumin, thanks for watching. The cost to get from pt chalmer to Dunedin was $35 NZ PER PERSON, Return. Princess will tell you otherwise and infer you can use it all day. Be prepared for a lot of miscommunication and misturths from Princess Cruises. For your family, that would be $140 NZ, and you'll be paying that again for the Lyttleton/Christchurch transfer as well. Another young family simply refused to pay that much for a transfer. When in NZ, we used our bank debit cards for purchases on land (NZ is more expensive than OZ) and had a credit card linked to our cruise account. We budgeted $5000 for onboard purchases and also budgeted $250 per port day as well. Tip: Don't link your everyday bank account to your cruise account. Princess Cruises put a hold on your account until all your onboard purchases are paid for. Thanks Arthur. I’m doing same cruise, same time next year. Looking forward to your next video 😊

Watched and saw you on Shaun Helping Hands this morning just subscribed to your channel
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed us talking
Wow- I love the Southern Cross* station! Spencer St Station* is on Spencer Street.. how convenient, lol! The Victorian shopping arcade.. ya, I’d lose Holly in there. Flinders Station is also cool. The street art was quite interesting. The pier/pylons at 11:48.. I can see what folks photograph it.. it’s cool! Pretty shot of Seabourn Odyssey (I remember you telling me she was in port that day). Too bad Sb just sold her to China.. sh’e leaving the fleet in September :( Good call to film the laundry - Holly reminds me to do this, as folks she feels want to see it. I think there is just too much to cover of Melbourne in a single day... wish we were a bit closer, lol! GOOD VIDEO!
Yes your right, to much to see in one day, it was great of Shaun from down under cruisers to show me around. Maybe that's your plan to lose Holly in the arcades 🤣🤣 But in all seriousness, the arcades are wonderful Please come down under, you know I'll show you and Holly around
It was a fun day
Yes it was. 😁 Thanks for having me and will return we the favour ☺️
So much to see there!

Food looked fantastic; beautiful presentation! I’m sure it was really nice listening to that volunteer. Beautiful water there. You did a lot of walking!
The food at chef table was amazing. Worth it. The volunteer was full of knowledge about the history of the railways in Port Lincoln. Yes the water around Port lincoln is amazing. Port lincoln is the seafood capital of Australia. I did about 15 kms that day
Sorry you had wind, but glad they were abbe to tender. Bay and cove were gorgeous! Love your time-lapse photography and beautiful sunset. How much is Chef’s Table?
Kangaroo island is a beautiful place to visit, will be going back to stay there and explore for a few days. Chefs table was $130 Australian dollars, including the wine
