That really is a short time to be in port for a city like Auckland. We would be frustrated with that too.
Interesting to hear your comments about the tower. We've only ever seen it in those travel programmes where it looks like its been cleared out for the host to film in. But a hot and crowded space like that would be unpleasant we'd imagine.

Thank you for watching. It's much appreciated 😌
Yes, it was a short time because of Port and tidal requirements. The ship had to leave early in order to clear the harbour traffic.
We were frustrated with the lack of communication from princess on many issues.
Sky Tower is worth a visit, but with that, many people visiting it made it unbearable.
Next time will do something around the harbour as it was much closer and easily accessible.
Again thank you for watching and leaving a comment. It's much appreciated.
Tune in for the next vlog about the return journey to Australia 🇦🇺

Hi Arthur, once again very informative video. We are sailing in February to NZ on Coral Princess, stopping at all the same ports you have visited so all your videos have been great. Disappointing re Sky Tower. We were considering the tower but now maybe not. Princess has a shore excursion bus trip around Auckland also over to Devonport, then Ferry ride back to Auckland and walk back to ship. This maybe for us, we are not seasoned overseas cruisers so the planned excursions is for us. I could see in the background whilst you were on deck , the comings and goings of the ferries so the ferry terminal looks close to the ship. ?? Question please, in Wellington, we are undecided what excursion to choose 1. Cable car then Museum or 2. scenic bus trip around Wellington and stopping at Mt Victoria. Any thoughts.

Hi Debra, once again, thank you for continuing to watch my vlogs.
If I were you, I would do the bus tour, then the Devonport ferry back. The ferries were next to the pier to the ship. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk back (dont hold me to it).
The previous NZ cruise with Royal Caribbean, we did the bus tour/sky tower tour. We enjoyed that.
Re Wellington, do the cable car tour. It is easy. Great views, the Cafe was a great place to have lunch & the botanic Gardens are nearby.
I hope that has helped you out.

Thanks for watching Ken. Yes the views are amazing once up there. But the ride up there is horrible.... at least for me.
Glad you enjoyed the time-lapse. 😊

How many Aussies were arrogant? I don't know a lot that are, but you might have just had some near you that were. I find younger people can be around toursity things, but those over 30 (like everywhere on earth) seem to have decent manners. It really depends on the groups you're around.
Great video btw, pitty you bumped into the few Aussies that seem arrogant. As a country we're the opposite of that.

Thanks for watching. I really appreciate you watching and thank you for commenting.
We've been cruising for a long time, cruised with different lines and yes, us Aussies are generally good. However, this was our first time cruising with Princess and we found the Aussies onboard rather offensive. Very demanding and always felt like they were entitled.
However, we also felt like Princess where giving us different product and experiences. Which was different from what we researched beforehand.
While we enjoyed the NZ, we didn't enjoy the people who made it worse for others needlessly. We won't be cruising with them again
Thank you for watching my content 😊
