So far I've had a similar experience with my M210. The quality seems there during the build. But on the track, it's a different story. I've broken the front bumper, front knuckle, rear upright and rear lower suspension arm. Also had the rear arm pop out of the suspension blocks twice, so ended up upgrading to the metal ones. With the exception of a hard impact that split the bumper, all other instances were nothing more than minor disagreements with the barriers. My M-07 and MB-01 have seen many more crashes and are way more durable. Durability aside, the M210 drives really well. Just don't crash. 😅
Tamiya makes the MF01X for AWD, but it's hardly a race chassis :) This Carten looks rad, I wa hoping for more in car footage and body off shots. Now I want one!
Last I love your videos I like how you talk about something and then you show it. It's very informative I don't have this RC and I don't plan on buying it but it's a very informative
The Carten 210 is an old car….its been designed packaged and resold under numerous companies and different names. I bought one when it was the BSR m.rage around 2014. Prior to that it was a Nanda NXR 12 (I think). I hope the Carten version is much better. As a BSR product there were numerous issues that needed upgraded parts and lots of tuning to make it work right.
Wolfram RC is my local track. They are the US distributor for Carten. Great guys and awesome fast shipping.
They did a great job!

My driving "skills" are at the root of a lot of my issues, but I do feel this car is a little too fragile.

Yeah, I was thinking about the MF01X and the upcoming XM-01, but both of those are "rally" focused.

Interesting. I think the overall quality is there. Obviously I had some issues, but we’ll see over the long term.
