    It's funny I didn't even look when this was posted. I'm painting my rc body today and started watching your video. Then at the end you mention about making a video about the lights. I went to go find it. Then only realised this was posted today. Great video and some cool tips. Will definitely try some of these on the next body as I had already started by the time I found this.

      The brand spray can paint: "Spaz Stix" - Candy Apple Green, Mirror Chrome, & Black. You can find it on eBay & Amazon cheaper than the hobby shop. I painted it the same way I did in this video, but I used the Candy Apple Green instead. I did 2 coats of Candy Apple Green on the Gallardo, that's why it turns out a lime greenish color, & 3 coats on the hood of the Countach looking more like a forest green. Same green, same spray can, just one extra coat. The thing about Candy is the more coats you spray, the darker it gets & if you do to many coats the mirror chrome & black won't show through the candy. Definitely do a test sample to get the right shade. Hope that helps you out dude. Maybe watch the video again when you get the paint & go step by step using the candy apple green instead, with mirror chrome , & black. Pause the video & rewind it if need too.

    I've been airbrushing RC bodies for a little over 7 years now, and I don't know why,but I could never get any kind or any brand of masking tape to work well with me,but you and alot of others make it look so easy lol. I'd be lost without liquid mask. I started using Bitty Design liquid mask and HVLP sprayers, and the rest is history. Honestly, I don't see how guys like you and Hemi Storm make it look so simple.

    • @skin-knee.design.222
      @skin-knee.design.222  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Its been a couple years since I used mask mainly because I stopped doing off road & moved to on-road & drift. As far as tape I use 2" & 1" by 3m - painters grade. There's always going to be mistakes & this video is to help reduce & recover from those mistakes. Also to help make it easy for beginners just getting into the hobby, they can get the best results they can going forward. I've been doing this a long time dude & the biggest things for me are the trimming & all my cuts are perfect. Punching the holes & or the magnets are lined up to mount the body. The tape, making sure it's smashed to the body real good along all the edges, even in between coats too. That's where the runs come from plus if your roll falls over on it side it collects dust, lint, ect. the paint lines won't be straight even if tapes itself is perfectly straight. What are you running, on-road, off-road, both?

      I used a roll of pin stripping on the outside of the body. It's cleaner & quicker than tape & painting. A roll cost a couple bucks & you can get just about every color known to man. You're welcome. Yeah man, you gotta use the candy. It's transparent & you can see through it as to other paints that are solid & cover really well. I used Candy apple red by Spaz Stix. I got it on Amazon for like $12 buck a can. Spaz Stick has a few different color candy's & there all beautiful. I did 3 good coats of candy red on the Lamborghini Huracan & 3 light coats on the Lamborghini Aventador. They don't look the same even though it's the same paint. The more coats you spray, the darker the candy gets. Hope that helps & gets you started!

      I used the liquid mask before with an airbrush. A lot time was spent switching colors & cleaning the airbrush in-between plus making all those cuts in the designs too. Idk dude, it's not as technical doing it this way but it's simpler/easier & I can blast it out in a day. I did this video the way I did step by step in hopes to save ppl time, money, & frustration from butchering up an expensive body.
