    SO creative!! I love this because it really makes things more interesting to look at. When you have a larger collection things can begin to all mash together, but something like this kind of breaks it up AND look more natural. You kind of took what people do with vivariums and applied it to our potted plants! And that crystal mag display...DOPE👍👍💚

      @AroidDistrict  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly! I use to build Vivariums, so it felt very familiar.

    I’m loving the vibe. I’m thoroughly enjoying the buff rough looking dude playing and enjoying houseplants.

    I deff like the plants over rocks idea! It makes top dressing a little more interesting and I like how it looks more like a natural rainforest floor..I will deff be trying that out

    The top dressing looks so nice! The rocks are perfect.....great tips on what rocks to use! I live next to Lake Superior with hundreds of miles of rock shores.....I will do some rock picking this summer....your plants look right at home...now you need a trickling river running through your home!!!! If only this old world would have been designed that way...Your new Peru is such a nice find....we have not had them here locally....I have a cutting that struggles, two leaves, maybe this summer it will decide that it wants to live! I will keep my eyes out for a hanging Peru....so happy for you....thanks for the inspiration Dave.....

    I like the way you display your plants in fact It shows how you care for your plants. you are the second plant parent that use other items in your pots …Carmen Whitehead is another plant parent.

    That Peru is gorgeous! 😍
    I may have to venture out and see if we got anything like that in Houston (probably not 🙄)
    I love the scaping / displaying with rocks idea. Not quite the same as what you’re doing here because mine are just sitting on top of the soil and aren’t really aquarium or lava rocks per se, but I have a fairly large mineral collection along with the 🪴s - I’ll have to reconsider which ones I might be able to use to amp up the decor in here 😊
    *first dibs on Lynamii props when you’re ready to sell 😬

    • @AroidDistrict
      @AroidDistrict  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats cool that you already have stone collection! I think an easy way is to dig just a little under the new growth (of a crawler) and place a stone underneath. I think I'll sell the mother plant after new leaf is hardened, so I'll let you know.

    The rock thing makes me think about Bonsai, ppl have been growing plants over rocks for many century’s, but this new twist with tropicals. Can’t wait too see how it turns out!! 🔥🔥💚

    • @AroidDistrict
      @AroidDistrict  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah! I think I apart of the idea comes from my attempts at Bonsai. Also from building Vivariums

      I think that's a good idea, if you are experienced with Anthurium. If not, I recommend buying one locally on Etsy. Clarinervium is a good option as well, for regular house humidity.
