This was really helpful, thank you! I impulsively picked up THREE of these books off of a free table at a local curriculum sale and now I feel like I got such a great find! After trying a few grammar programs that I feel are way too unstructured and were not helping, I think this is exactly what we need to bring my middle schooler more up to grade level without the intensity of something like Grammar for The Well Trained Mind.
Thank you and I apologize for getting back to you so belatedly. I took a short break for kicking off our school year. Working at a pace of two per day works well for us. Some days we only do one lesson, especially when starting a new section so there is more time for me to teach the new material. Occasionally we will do three lesson pages. On the Easy Grammar site Dr. Phillips recommends 2-3 lessons per day; however, she says that number should be adjusted to student needs and, "Our goal is mastery, not speed!"
@@pondodreams6585 Thank you for sharing your experience. It is reassuring to hear from Moms who teach multiple kids. So often we use a curriculum differently than it is presented.
Hi. Thanks for the review! Just want to ask if the Daily Grams 3 would be enough for an incoming G3 who's never used Easy Grammar before. Or is it better to use the Easy Grammar itself? I was just thinking, doing both books at the same time can be tiresome for my kiddo, I wouldn't want the load to kill her interest. Thank you!🙏
I know you asked this question 5 months ago, but thought I would share my experience. I only did the daily grams with my second grader, and found it to be a good introduction to grammar at a time when she was not a strong reader. For third grade I will be doing both, but now that my daughter is a better reader and more self sufficient, I plan to have her do the daily grams on her own and I check at the end, where as the lessons we will do together. That's my plan, but time will tell. I hope it worked out for you!

Could you send me one easy grammer book
How many pages a day do you do?
Does Easy grammar do sentence diagramming?
Great overview. Do you have them work a few pages five days a week? Or how do you schedule through the year?
