Your a true Mechanic Terry! A man after my own heart! As they say in the Marine Corps "Improvise, Adapt, Overcome"! I use the rubber hose trick for Spark Plugs on my 1966 Chrysler New Yorker 440 cu in! Driver side bank exhaust manifold and steering linkage issues lol! Perseverance is the key, The struggle is real lol!
Depends on whether or not things want to come loose, I’d say an hour for disassembly and reassembly if everything goes right, who knows how long if it doesn’t.
Was the engine ticking when the oil pressure light came on? My 2013 1.8 started ticking after replacing the serpentine belt, oil cooler and outlet. I thought it was the oil pump so I replaced the oil pump but the noise is still there. Any idea what the noise could be? The oil pressure light is on
This one had no engine noise at all, that’s why we believed it was a sensor…have you checked for slack in the water pump? They’ll make a bit of a clicking noise.
I have modified tools I've made in my tool box that are for one specific job. Someday when I'm gone somebody will inherit my tolls and say "What the help is this used for LOL! Even I will be looking for something and come across something and say Hmmm! Must have worked LOL!
We all have "the drawer", or at least we all used to. When I first started I had a set of chineseium sockets and wrenches that later became all sorts of specialty items.
