Orbiter 2016 - XR2 Ravenstar with working VC (Work In Progress)

- A quick flight to StationV to swap the crew. Testing out the VC of the Ravenstar. Still some way to go before any kind of release. Hopefully we'll be able to work out the licensing issues.

Really awesome. The XR-2 is such a versatile and overall awesome ship, should have a good 3d cockpit.

I've made a few mods for Orbiter-sim in my time. All of them VERY basic, as I think the game was already complex enough. Birth of the Federation, a Star Destroyer & Millennium Falcon, and even a Pathfinder Alpha from Jovian Chronicles. That was years ago though. This full blow sim clickable cockpit is crazy stuff.

I seriously love you right now. This has been such a long time coming, and it really looks great. I cannot wait to try it out. While I respect the importance of intellectual property, it would seem to me a massive imposition of someone's ego to not allow you to use these models that have never been sold commercially, and that you are not planning to sell either.

Awesome, any updates on progress? I really want to get back into orbiter but lack of VC plus default scenarios with a range of locations to visit makes it really difficult to get back into.
Nothing new to share, waiting for April to get a few days off work, so I'll have the time to finish it. The licensing issue still remains, but I think that I can bypass it by re-encrypting the mesh.

Sorry mate, the XR series source code that has been released is for the 2016 version (or later). My work on the VC is based on that. Porting it back to 2010 would require a major rewrite which I cannot do.

Good evening Dimitris. The .dll file goes in Modules / Plugin. Clear!
But where do I have to copy the files that are in the "CameraMFD-1.0.1" folder? And once again: a BIG thank you!
@@NorbertWoeller ??? I'm a bit confused. If you click on the link I gave you and press the "Go to download" button on the upper right corner, you get a zip file named "Camera MFD Orbiter 2016.zip". Unzip it in your Orbiter root directory, maintaining directory structure and everything will go in its place. Activate the module in the modules tab and you should see it in Orbiter.

Still working on it (whenever I have the time). There is still the licensing issue that needs to be resolved before sharing anything though. I will post an update video when I have something new to show.
If this came out, I'd probably never fly anything else. Any update to share @dgatsoulis?
