Actually a lot of people get it wrong, when the papi is 2 red 2 white it should be when you're in first person. If you are in the gear view watching the papi, you should get it 3 red 1 white instead of 2 red 2 white.

No, that is not correct. The PAPI light's position is dependent on your Roblox character's position. NOT your camera.
@@frogscanthopnolastname but if you think about it. It depends on the type of aircraft if your flying first person. See in real life jf your landing the Boeing 747 since the cockpit view is much higher than a Cessna then they have to change position so it becomes 3 white and 1 red because for them that’s 2 red and 2 white. So it mostly depends on the aircraft and camera positioning.

I'm practicing to butter in first person with a crosswind, of course i ask my friend if he wants to spend a few minutes of his life to tell me if it was a butter but i haven't done a butter in first person with crosswind it is very hard but i'll keep practicing you made a good tutorial it helped people keep up the good work!
i once did a butter in like bad crosswind.

After watching your vids my landing had been better then ever thank you so much!
i generally approach around the shorter mountain, and also a tip, if you use his approach at the distance you're at from the runway papi lights are good between 700 and 600 feet
But when the camera is off u do a Ryanair landing
for irl flights, you want to exit your crab angle before touchdown and use the rudders to align yourself with the runway. ways to avoid crosswind landings is to either wait for winds to change or to change runway
that doesn't work in this game though sadly cause wheels have no grip
if I am correct in real life you touch down your back wheels first in the crab and then use your rudder to straighten your nose to the middle of the runway

Ayo bro thanks for doing thia video, i watxhed this video yesterday but failed to land smoothly. Today i rewatched your vidoe and understood everything except the PAPI lights, and today did butter landing 2 times, but the 2nd time i landed smoothly 4 airplanes in the same driveway (there wasnt ATC) ruined my landing.
another tip for first person landings, keep an eye on how fast u are descending. In most flight simulators it will show ur fpm (feet per minute) in ptfs it doesnt. Even if the flight simulators show fpm after u land. U want to make sure your descending somewhat slowly while still landing in the touchdown zone

Love your videos, I noticed in your video you have to keep changing the camera view in PTFS if you click "X" (on keyboard) it locks the camera angle which means it does not move during rotation and landing/approach.

thanks, now everytime I am in a landing comp I always get good feedback, usually a 8 or 9/10.
When landing in crosswinds like that, I recommend using the advanced controls. So you are able to use the rudder before the touchdown. In real life, if you do not use rudder during touchdown, you could go off the runway if you do not react in time. PTFS doesn't have that type of realism but I recommend advanced controls.

Also before ur flight also check the Atc tower to see the wind(if u got the game pass) if it is height then you will know if you have to crab your landing
The wind always changes just ask atc if they're online
you dont need to do that to survive a crosswind, the wind always changes and you can always sync to crab land

I love the a340 bc its tilted gear it just looks so satisfying when you butter it
Also for you legacy handling users the landing speed is around 34% - 24% or smth depending on your aircraft but if you fly fighter jets or the concorde the landing speed should be around 14% - 8%
now imagine doing this but way more complex, if you fail you could potentially injure or even get people killed, and you would loose your job AND its more stressful AND you have to do it like 3 times a day. that's what its like being a pilot

If you’re on mobile just use a Ryanair plane since it’s harder to do literally anything on IOS.
I have been buttering planes, Cessna Caravan to AN-122, only the free ones, the most recent one i buttered was the B757.
If you look on the thumbnail you can see he got a tail strike (i think im not to sure) Also Keep making vids i love them!
We find this hard in a video game while pilots be doing it in real life 💀
When I'm on landing I set my throttle to 25 to take landing speed and it doesn't stall
In the crosswind landing you landed a little too late you touched down on the latest of the touchdown zone
the 100% best about buttering landings in a public server is to that you can show it off to the other players and it would eb even better if you could do good centerline + on touxhdown zone + eprfect falre + smooth, and youd be thinking in your mind "omg i hope someone sees this!" lol

For land speed throttle in the Concorde or other supersonic planes, set your throttle to 33 ish percent

Bro while take off you need to set the flaps at 1 and while landing you need to set it on 2. This Logic is used in real life too because with full flaps less lift Will be produced

For some reason it doesn’t say landing speed and for some reason I go 50% power and I overshoot the runway
i think the reason is because you go to fast when you are about to hit the runway and lower to 50 when your at 200/250 or something
