Novelist and journalist here to say I love this show so much, esp this interview. P.S. Michael, if you're reading comments, I have a few hunches about your mysterious rash from years ago. 1.) It could have been from "Scarlet Fever" -- my niece had it and her rash looked very similar and eventually resolved in the same manner you described. 2.) Another rare (though possible) cause of a rash like this is something called "Valley Fever" which is becoming more common in parts of California and Arizona. Sadly, my friend is in the ICU right now fighting for her life with this diagnoses. Valley Fever is a fungal infection of the lungs (you just breathe in a spore, and it wreaks havoc). Not all cases are as severe as my friend's, and little is known about why it affects some people more than others, but I have read that once you're infected with it, and recover, it can remain dormant in your system and become activated again in times of illness, etc. Just something to be aware of. Fortunately, you can rule this out with a basic blood or skin test just to be on the safe side. This is all coming from someone who has spent the last two weeks triaging her best friend's life-threatening battle with this beast of a fungal infection and I just felt like I had to share this little tidbit in case it's helpful to you. P.S. It is NOT spread from person to person, thank GOD. Big hugs to you and Lauren. You two are dynamos.

"You need a bit of a hollow under your eye." This really stood out to me. As someone with pretty bad under eye circles + hollows my goal has always been ZERO hollows...have never considered and that having some hollow is actually good. Love this. Definitely going to start aiming for 70% better. Def don't want to look like a cat.

I literally just Googled heating pad burns last night bc I noticed marks on my back. I sleep on a heating pad to go to sleep...just a comfort thing. I decided to stop for the next two weeks to see if it goes away before my surgery. I'm having a brachialplasty (arm lift), and the surgeon is going to remove excess back/side fat while he's at it, so I want a clear back.

Gotta be careful of a lot of skincare products that may have synthetic hormones in it that you don’t need.

Sun is key to health. Anyone who says to get a suntan from fake chemicals is questionable

@@rougeandsparkles and youre part of the problem of people who only want to follow biased studies and remain ignorant to the fact that the ONLY way we can truly get real vitamin d is thru the sun. Obviously dont go overboard but to create fear mongering around the sun and promote sun tannting is completely irresponsible/ignorant as a "doctor"

I am shocked, after having Robert slovak on your channel that you went downhill so bad.
Stop the misinformation on sun screen.
Change your topic of conversation if you haven't done any studying and don't plan on it .
You mind as well praise Biden as the best president if you are going to be so disconnected from the truth and reality.
