- Jesse has had the goal to tick off one of Remy Metalliers sketchier lines in Squamish since the very first time he saw it. At the time, the race season was just around the corner and it felt like the moment was right for Jesse to step up and out of his comfort zone!

Nice to see you send it. Also nice to see you scared! Probably means it's not too easy of a line!
It just trips me out! Definitely not an easy line.
You both are my HEROS
we need to see another episode of you, jesse and Yoan on this section
Now you have to do a full Remy Line or Remy follow Videos. 🚵
When even Yohan Barelli bailed on his first day on that feature, you know it's gnarly
Exactly! That didn't help Jesse's mindset either.
What a great champion you are, Jesse!
Definitely a mental thing, jess is the sickest shredder and needs to let his natural (world class) ability to flow, and the in built ridiculous talent is insane dude. Love from the UK 🤙✌️👍🏴🇬🇧
Damn, I'm getting old. If I can't on sight something, or just do it after looking at it once, I won't do it. Nice work getting it done!
Keep it up! This is such a great / valuable perspective to be walked through. Editing remains solid. Content is great. The three of you are an incredible trio🤙🍻🚵♂️
Thanks a lot for the compliments! It's really nice to hear.
Freeride mountain biking, nervous as hell, doing a ton of dry run-ins to build confidence then just flicking the switch and hitting it - but still cr4pping it! Great vid guys, love the realism, Andy
That's exactly it! Glad you liked it.
Jesse always has nice hang time on the big crazy drops.
He likes to pop it
I'm sure the camera is not doing these justice. This mental process is so important, I learnt it through another sport, when you figure out your most successful way of dealing with commitment you can apply it elsewhere, it's not a guarantee that you won't get hurt but changing your mind has no place in these scenario's. Thankyou Miranda and Remi for being patient filmers and not making the WE CAN COME BACK AGAIN SOME TIME comment.
That's the cool thing about sport, you learn a lot that can be applied to life.
Jesse, you said you didn't want to ignore your gut feelings (Good call, I think), and that you think about all that can go wrong(I do that!). Does that feeling go away when you are really ready to pull the trigger? Or do you just work through the fears one at a time mentally so you know you are good, and then ignore the apprehension?
Either way, that's amazing! All of those drops are gnarly. Great job to the MGM trio once again. Sharing honesty and making us better riders!
Jesse here - I think I mentioned that in the video, the process is about working through all the things that make you doubt yourself on the feature. I was able to practice the jump turn to the left, hitting the compression and run-out fast, and do the two moves before. So my confidence was high and I had a lot less doubt than the first time I looked at the drop. I really felt like I would have no problem doing it, I just had to do it. I had built it up in my head so much to be a big feature and that was the last thing I had to overcome.
Accidents happen man especially when you are pushing it real hard trying to grab podiums don’t let people get in your head about who or what type of rider you are just do your thing, great video respect for showing the process here.
That's what we have to tell ourselves! Thank you!
I'm speechless. That second drop is like the size of 5 Jesses. Your videos are so well documented that I feel I'm there with you. Thank you for the hard work and congratulations Jesse. This was SICK!!!
Wow, thank you! We like hearing that!
That was hectic. I got more scared during the hike a bit bit where he nearly fell backwards with the bike haha
hahaha that was hilarious though
My 🥚🥚 are in my throat, you 3 rock!!! Thank you for sharing these videos with us. I will never do something that big, but it gives me a way to build up to bigger things!
I'm stoked for you bro. That was a huge challenge, I really like how you broke it down to smaller segments, and how you had your friends there to encourage and support you through it.
Vibes dude! ✌
Glad you enjoyed it!
So sick! and so smooth, when you did the full line with the roll in it just looked chill and it all came together perfect.
Very cool to see that process - it just shows that even at this level any rider still needs to fight to keep their shit together!
always a battle
So nice to see an honest video of what the pros also go through. I also have days where I just can't get my head around shit, then a week later hit it like I've been doing it all my life. This video made me feel human.
Love seeing ALL of this! You got good friends too!
Awesome jumps!! These ones are a true mental battle
Man! My hands are sweating. That was looney!
You guys are getting better and better on video centent and people really like that. Specially me 😂😂.
Keep it up !
Thank you! Will do!
Sick! Well done, Jesse! 🤘🏻😎
wow , that second drop was scary , never mind the main event , great filming to give us the full prospective of the task , well done Jesse & MGM for another belter
Thank you!
That was the best rock climbing video!
hahaah
Great stuff and love the insights as always, this will help me conquer some features on my locals. Plus I have to say that hike up looks almost worse than the ride back down though :)
It all looks bloody terrifying to me... Some excellent, brave riding!
so sick! thats one im going to check of one of these days!
YES!
Excellent...good job. Was there today and actually thought of the video where you said this is the "Remy" line. Now it it will be the "Jesse" line.
Still the Remy line!
That was sick jesse!🤘🏼Keep it coming guys!
It's coming!
Well done Jesse ! Really love your videos guys keep on the good work!
Thank you! This was a fun one!
Get that Remy line! Massive dude! Congrats!
Thank you!
Killed it Jesse! Easy with the balls of steel! Keep up the good work and great atmosphere in videos!
Thanks a lot!
Hell yeah boy! Good send🤟! I for one never had a doubt you could do it👏
Thanks!
Hey guys, I love your content so much! You're real and honest and there's not an ounce of pretentiousness in what you do, it's refreshing. I wish I could take a riding course with you, the way you explain things is excellent!
We love to hear that! Thanks!
Good vid Guys, good to see you break things down like this. And its good to be a little scared, you have to respect the trail!!
That Altitude though!! what a bike!
We agree! About the bike too!
That’s awesome, Jesse. I love the way you ride!
Thank you!
Content is entertaining as always. I love watching Jessie on a bike and his explanation of his thought process... I think he should be a life coach on the side 😁
Glad you liked it!
First time viewing your video’s, I hit the subscribe button right after the first drop. Liked how you broke it down, I can tell you I am never hitting something like that but it does help seeing expert riders with doubts. Makes it relatable to average riders even though they will never (I mean ever!) hit something even remotely close to that cliff. Though on a side note, I would do it on skis in 4’ of snow😬
love to hear it! Thanks for the SUB! That would be pretty sick with 4' of snow..
Absolutely love this kind of video
Glad to hear that!
Brilliant video jesse, well done to facing your fears dude💪👌
Thank you 🙌
Thank you for the hard work and congratulations Jesse. Big like
Thanks for the visit!
Such a cool video. Really enjoyed the honesty around the mental side
just trying to be real out here!
well done...i love meranda's laugh
It was a hilarious time.
Jesse is really collecting air miles here! Awesome video! 🤘
Big drops! Thanks!
Woooooooof those features are hectic!! Well done dude
Thank you!
OK, first: amazing man! Always pleasure to watch you, and even more fun to watch you struggle lol. (disclaimer: I won't hit those features in my lifetime)
and, a weird question: (in the beginning) is this the same music that Pestily uses for his videos (particularly hardcore videos). Maybe it is just a free song, that is easy to add to videos :) but funny coincidence either way :)
could be. it is just music that we find and are able to licence for minimal $$$
That has to be one huge mental block battle. Interesting to hear your thoughts and congratulations on nailing those so clean.
It was a battle, but we took it slow and worked away at it.
Congrats 🔥
Thanks!
The 2nd drop looks bigger 😲 8:03
nicely done - wish I had features like this
We are very lucky we have so much to ride!
Give us a collab with Rémy and Yoann! And other Remi too, I heard he is also a good bicycle pilot.
We could do!
So smooth on the second time.
We're glad he did it again!
get it felt!
Awesome Jesse well done 👌
Thanks 👍
great job...respect...
Thanks a lot!
you guys are the best.
Thanks M3X!
These bikes are well engineered and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, also great sends keep that shit up
They are!
It looks scary in video...nicely done!
Thank you very much!
🔥 all the way from Sri Lankan fan 🇱🇰
Thanks!
Great to see Remi's Landyachtz - nice bit of exposure for those guys!
Very cool bike!
Love this! When do we see Remi's comfort zone video?
We gotta find out where his comfort zone is!
Hell yea for the algo
FOR THE ALGO!
Down to earth riders.
:)
🤯
Loving all the content! Do you guys use bodyarmour or what kind of protective gear do you use besides helmet etc... or maybe a even a run down of how you decide to kit up?
Mostly just knee pads.
9:36 😆❤️
hahah that was a highlight
You guys should start a business of “mountain biking therapy” to help riders to get more confidence in their riding skills.
Great video as always!
Cheers
Interesting idea!
Took me a while to work out it was the brakes squealing as he came to the lip of the drop and not him :)
haha good catch
Huge feat, great job! If I may have one suggestion, maybe reduce the music, with the constant background noise it takes away from the excitement of the situation
We can try that out in future videos, thanks!
None of those features are to be sniffed at! 😬 Nice one kid! 🤙🤙🤙
Definitely not. The second one was actually the hardest haha.
Upped PSI by 1lb. The average person doesn’t have a pressure gage to even measure that properly. 😆
It's all relative haha
At what point does a person wear more than knee pads & a full face?
If those features scare you so much, why do you wear nothing but a t shirt?
That's a good question. I'd say because I am only going to do the feature if I know I can do it.
Not relatable, we need boring blue trails full of brakings bumps. Nah, just kidding. Way to rip.
haha we can do that too
Feel like 2nd drop is gnarlier, but never seen these irl
great job, so much pressure on a pro to not overdo it and get unneccessarily injured...
We think it is too!
