For other character action games, i'd be curious what you'd think of the likes of Soulstice (2022, personal favourite), the upcoming Genokids and Enenra. Late reply but FINALLY someone mentions NSR! in regards to HFR! And not in a derogatory way like "HFR is what NSR should have been". They have their own merits and shortcomings and can exist alongside one another very fine.
