You brought back childhood memories of my grandmother. Sometimes she used tamarind, green pommecythere or mango, whatever was available at the time. She also would curry herring dry without frying and no sauce.

Curry fish is one of my favourite dishes but I have never cooked it before.I would always beg my sister-in-law who happens to be indian to cook it for me whenever I go back home.I love the addition of mango,I just know it's a hit.I can't wait to try this.Do you think that red snapper would hold up good for this recipe?
