It’s just a fentanyl movement front. The delivery dude knows thank you as the code to not shoot the person, the kids are a rival gang, the phone call’s a distraction for someone to steal, the 15 minutes is so you can use but don’t return to the desk fully tweaked, and it’s all under the guise of a ghost post office. Amazing.
I was saying it was Fentanyl too 😂 I yelled out “It was FENT!”
Fent doesn’t make you tweaked and if you were doing fent in the bathroom you’d end up nodding out and waking up an hour after your shift ended hahah

I love these rules stories. That being said, as an introvert who already works graveyard shift , this job seems awesome. Stay at your job for the whole shift( duh),ignore all customers lol, ignore the phones lol, take long bathroom breaks lol, hide in a room you can lock for the rest of your shift if someone turns up before 6am, and show common curtesy to your only “coworker “, who doesn’t even stick around. Plus great pay? Ahh a dream job really.

It actually is the best job but half the time. They place you in a place with no or bad ac, some stupid shed in ariona heat, just overall poor conditions.

The "don't answer the phone" rule would be an easy one to follow 😂
I mean yeah if asked to never answer the phone (from this time to that time), I’d probably unplug the phone so that I -know- weird shet is going on if it rings and be doubly sure to know not to answer. Just plug it back in just before the shift ends.

Something I’ve always wondered about these “list” stories…how in the world do people figure it out without dozens if not hundreds of people dying?
The one I don't get in most of these is why anyone even bothers. Shut it down, open somewhere else.
Maybe the entity just shows up and hands the list over /s
Dozens and hundreds die each day without people hearing about it.
Or maybe it costs dozens of lives to create that list of rules to help others survive, and maybe not all of the rules have been figured out.
@kentworch I like that idea! Hope we see it in a story, like the protagonist follows all the rules and still dies. Then, another entity adds one new rule like, "Oops. My bad"
He doesn't tell stories, he shows us the movie...the way the tone and the expression in his voice changes with plot, the incredible description...he creates the movie in our minds...

What makes lighthouse horor diffrent from other story tellier was the voice acting. I like how you tone every dialog and monolog accordingly...

Sometime I kinda want to see a List of Rules creepypasta where some of the rules turn out to just be mundane workplace etiquette or hardware safety tips sprinkled among the supernatural taboos.
Rule 1: Arrive at the office on time. If you are late, consider working overtime to compensate.
Rule 2: Be polite and professional. Remember that as an employee, you represent our company.
Rule 3: Follow the dress code: A blue or black suit and pants, a plain tie, and black leather shoes.
Rule 4: Don't stare at Gorlokh the Unspeakable for too long. We can't have another cult of the Elder Ones interrupting the workflow.
Rule 5: Avoid workplace drama. Getting into trouble with your coworkers only hinders your productivity.
Rule 6: Don't step on the corpses. They won't do anything, but we'll have to clean your bloody footsteps out of the carpets.
Rule 7: Follow email etiquette. Write proper, easy to read sentences and avoid the use of abbreviations and emojis.
Rule 8: Keep your workplace clean and organized. That way another employee can take over your work smoothly if you happen to get lost in the non-euclidean geometry of the office building.
If you have any questions regarding the rules, don't hesitate to ask your manager.
Remember, we're more than a team, we're a family (even the twisted aberrations that lurk within the dark places of the office).

@@mr.cobalt1668 There's two that I know of. One about an Elevator and another about a University Lab, the creepy rules are mixed with the normal ones.
There’s one about a gas station , one of the rules is to stir the cheese every 30 minutes so it doesn’t harden into a solid block.

I love these rules: don't pick up the phone (respect privacy, caller can leave a message), thank Fergus (be polite), don't leave between 10pm - 6am (good work ethics), don't open the mail (it's a federal crime), wait 15 min in the bathroom before you leave (courtesy/good manners), don't mess w the trick-o-treaters (agree w protagonist that's sus af, they could be robbers). hiding in the freezer is a bit weird, but there must be good reasons and i can ask for clarification later. i fail to see the problem w these rules or problems w following them.
I like listening to your narration lighthouse. You do a great job of bringing to life many of the different characters of these creepy stories. One of my favorites is the family of vampires that come every four years. Another has to be the voodoo shop stories. Keep up the good work.
Those were some of my favorites also. Also the one about the national parks not being there to preserve nature, and more recently the one with the family of monsters were also amazing. There are actually quite a bit of really good blockbusters on this channel that were masterfully narrated. Truly top notch work.

The way you tell these stories scare the hell out of me. I don't want to go outside of my house at night, scared. It maybe silly for a 62 year old to scared of a boogey man but I don't care what others think of me. I am going to stay safe, I hope, in my house with my 9m. Not that it will help against the creatures of the night.

My favorite thing in the world is those "I got a job with weird-ass rules" horror stories, and I didn't even know how to begin searching for them. Loving this story, it’s an interesting concept. After all, paranormal creatures need to pass on messages and parcels too, lol!
My step dad is a postman. When he and mum split up, he moved into the house attached to the post office in town. It’s a HUGE old fashioned home with all sorts of strange nooks and crannies, & odd occurrences. As a teen, I’d stay down there and invite friends over and freak ourselves out.
Edit- Lol just heard that the post office only deals in one type of package.

In my little town we have a Post office that no longer allows pets inside. Someone did not clean up after their dog.
However, my raccoons are still allowed. This being due to them riding on my shoulders. In this manner, any 'mess' will be all mine to deal with.

Love this channel now! I'm subscribed to at least five or six different storytelling channels and this one grew on me like only a few other's. My gf was like he's weird and I was like no he's not he's one if not the only one that tells the story from first person 😅 he isn't really talking about himself! 😅 she watched some after that.

One of the few channels I love falling asleep to. Good story choice, unique narration and a just a joy to fall asleep to. Some of these channels are really off putting with the way their narrator speaks.
