Great review. I own the same blue Jag XFRS here in the US, and still retaining it even after buying a red Maserati Granturismo - again both very different cars. I love the power of the Jag and the fact that it is so rare....the color adds to the novelty. The car is absolutely dangerous if a novice is trying to drive it...there is so much power to the rear wheels...its insane. As someone here has said, 0-60 is quick but boy 60-120 is bonkers.....the car has got unlimited torque...you can never use its full potential on US roads. I love my XFRS. Oh and there were only 100 of these XFRS made, which makes them super special.
I own one since 2014 still got it would never sell it and an unbelievable classic in the making, so very rare I haven’t come across another one on the road in all this time, everybody looks at it approaches me to learn more about, it blistering performance got to be careful with it, absolutely love it to bits.
I own a XFR-S Sportbrake in Italian Racing Red, stunning daily driver. As far as I know the only one in the Netherlands; it's elegant, comfortable and really fast.. And far more ' analogue ' than a RS6, a joy to drive..
I used to own a XFR. I now have a Porsche 911 Turbo S ( and a second 4x4 Porsche). I loved my Jag. The XFR is an absolute real world brilliant car. It is very fast, very comfortable, very usable. I loved it.
They are an unbelievable car, like Jackel and Hyde, very comfortable for the long trip and a absolute beast when the mood takes. 0 to 60 quick, 60 to 100 is blistering 😁
I will always remember my drive in one of these, going to Goodwood FoS. Epic performance, noise and surprisingly meaty steering compared to the XFR. If I was going to get one I'd want the Sportbrake, in black, but they are soooooooooooooo rare, even in the UK. Meanwhile I will continue to fix my broken XJ Supersport!
I had an XFR and it was an awesome car so I always thought it would be amazing to have one of these, just to take it a step further and have as you say, the ultimate Jag!
I bought the very first US version of XFR-S in May 2013 at my last duty station in Brussels, Belgium before retiring from the US Army. Almost 10 years later this Animal still turns heads and puts to shame all those HEMIs here in the states!
I have a 2015 XFRS, one of a hundred sold in North America from what I gather, titanium white, with the smaller spoiler. I have not seen another in person. I live in Tampa Fl.
I have watched a few of your videos (and yes, I have a beard! Mine is white though I’m 70), Jaguar cars have always been my favourite cars. It is interesting though that I didn’t think I could afford one, meantime I have driven a lot of differing Landrover types BMWS, Volvos etc. But ptobly, up to owning Jags. . . probably the best and most luxury car that really hit over 160mph, was my 1991 SAAB 9000CD 2,3 litre turbo - it was way ahead of its time for the late 80s early 90s,. My last two cars have been XJ Jaguars, a few years ago, I parted with my XJ 350, to buy a Portfolio XJ with only 47,000 miles o.it. It is the model just prior to the 2015 ‘facelift’, but I wasn’t concerned - I am a connoisseur of sound systems and my home system is mostly B&W speakers - so imagine my surprise, when I found an XJ Portfolio, wth a B&w 21 speaker 1250 wat system built in to the car! As you may surmise, I was a little taken aback by the exterior looks, however, apart from the lower head room, is a wonderfully spacious & comfortable car inside. It’s not a ‘muscle car’ but certainly powerful enough. How many cars provide suede headlininig & massaging heated.or coolEd seats plus many others.
Awesome video & I totally agree about this car & especially the XF R S Sportbrake 👍🏻. Shame there is only 61 of the Sportbrakes world wide. I have seen 6 & had a passenger ride in one. If only there were a few more & the prices weren't so strong but I will happily stick with my XF S Sportbrake diesel.
Yeah same here, the sportbrake is gorgeous. Always seemed odd to me that the RS got an estate version, but the XFR never did. You'd think it would be the other way around...
I own an XFR at present but I'm drawn to the Xfr-s. I enjoyed your video and comments on the car. Do you think I would notice much difference. I have owner the car for just over 2yrs. Thanks
Depends what you want from the car, I personally still prefer the XFR, it’s smoother, more comfortable and more of a muscle car. The RS is more twitchy and has a harder ride, feels like it always wants to drive fast and is less of a cruiser. The extra visual wow factor is cool, especially in this colour, but as a car to use regularly I would go XFR personally
I have a black xfrs. My first performance car coming up from a mazda 6 lol. I almost crashed the first week with the sheer power in the rear wheels. I respect the power of the car and is absolutely not for novice drivers
As an Aussie the XFR-S Sportbrake is da bomb! I've never seen one for sale here. It would be eye bleeding stupid money tho. There is only one Jag wagon for sale atm. 2018 XF 30d for £50,000 GBP 😳
Not yet no, I've worked around a number of them in one form or another, but not to review as yet. I do plan to though. Biggest gripe of mine with the XE-S is that it doesn't look more special. Granted its not an ''XE-R'' but still
200 to 220 a year for 3 years, 100 to N.A., don't know how many were right hand drive, Sportbrakes sprinkled in to yearly production run. I agree, I'd take the wagon. I wonder how close you could come with a remapped XF Supercharged or XFR, crank and blower pulleys, suspension kit and a staged exhaust. That front air dam really sets it apart, I'm out on the spoiler, not because I don't like it's looks but it's a bit boy-racer, kind of like not dressing yourself age appropriately...

Absolutely, much more of a modern muscle car than an Audi or BMW
I used to own a XFR. I now have a Porsche 911 Turbo S ( and a second 4x4 Porsche). I loved my Jag. The XFR is an absolute real world brilliant car. It is very fast, very comfortable, very usable. I loved it.

What an incredible review. The enthusiasm in your voice made this really entertaining to watch
Aw thanks b 😘

I've raced this car in Forza, it's beautiful. And as an Aussie it reminded me of a Commodore or Falcon straight away.

Oh wow, I didn't realize they were *that* rare haha
Absolutely love these & Soooo Rare ! Would prefer the Sportbrake but thats because I have 3x Black Labradors , Great Video !

They don’t make black XFRS s
@raybrooking8084 it's been wrapped in matt black by previous owner :)

Yikes, not too surprised given the prices you’ve mentioned before
Not selling a 4WD version of this car, especially the estate version, was a huge missed opportunity for Jaguar
I nearly bought this very car in 2021.
Added to what I’ve mentioned below, I’ve even had a BMW owner come up to me and said to me quote, it knocks BMW into a cocked hat.
Lovely car but many folks say it's the gear box that lets it down?
Have you done a review on the Jaguar XE 3.0 supercharged model? I’d love to see that. I have the 340 bhp model and absolutely love it.
Not yet no, I've worked around a number of them in one form or another, but not to review as yet. I do plan to though. Biggest gripe of mine with the XE-S is that it doesn't look more special. Granted its not an ''XE-R'' but still
Don’t forget about the project 8 jaguar
I have the car registered directly after this, one digit different on the numberplate!
I tried one of these before I got my xfr but the extra 15k just couldn’t justify it , not worth the extra over the xfr imo
