European Space entities both government and commercial are developing space debris cleanup systems unlike the messy world powers. However these "clean up" satellites could be utilized to knock out satellites as well. The sword has two edges ;)
I believe the X37b, once in orbit, and has no atmosphere to deal with; We can expect an undistorted high intensity laser..It would also benefit from a solar array for its power..If it didnt use one, the craft, would not have enough power for autonomy..Its clear, that its powerbank could not power it, or its laser weaponry for 2 years. Lasers today are beyond Mega-watt...Sadly, even from space, its worthless, to hit ground targets due to atmospheric distortion..
the modern countries that understood the space debries should understand any countries that is emerging to be technological advancement will put any danger aside and test their tech to see if it works. this should be undestandable. for example, if a new country that are able to produce and join the nuclear power they will test their bomb to ensured they have experience and know that it works. no matter how you condemned them even if they are allies they will test it. there's always a bee that will try to be the queen no matter if they were part of the strongest bee hive.

The Nazi military believed that they were invincible and that they would conquer the entire world. Germany was also utterly defeated and destroyed by the Red Army with a little help from the US and England. Now it's the American military's turn to believe in the wonderful song of the sirens that always seduce the fools "You can be invincible, you will never be defeated if you control space, come, come, all my promises of victory will be fulfilled".
We are able to use those systems now, because Ragan 😊started paying for it and focusing on an idea back then. That's not a foolish idea.
I'll be here !!!
A new way to describe the orbiting debris..."cascade"! 😲 10:40
Satellites comms mostly unprotected. Where the crypto satellites at? Also couldnt you track the test vehicle in space with just normal telescopes? You can see cube sats fairly easily afterall.
Humanity is infected with a curse from the beginning of our time and it is the weakness of mankind Humanity it is the human emotions that make people what we are
Damn. That Kurzgesagt voice actor is bringing home the bacon.
Here we go again.
First car ended up a armoured vehicle tank.
First plane became a jet fighter.
First ship became battle ship frigate destroyer.
First satilite became for Google etc.
Now it is armed with lasers.
When will warmongers stop trying to destroy mankind.
never. Or at least not until human nature changes which wont be anytime soon
Why do you think the international space station is there?
They have every communication satellite already targeted.
Good job humans, we've already trashed space 🤦♂️
Well, we ruin everything we touch, so. 🤷🏻
Precious minerals found on planets and asteroids and meteors. Space race is born and militarized!
Chuck Jaeger still first after 60 years ? ? ?
IONIZE ATMOSFERE AROUND SHIP AND MOVE PLASMA WITH MAGNETIC FIELDS:
1. Engine is not on board.
2. Cx - air drag - becomes The Engine surrounding ship with a glow - how mysterious....
So what are we doing about hypersonic missiles coming in
Can a satellite weapon use weather as a weapon?
This has to be the Kurzgesagt narrator!
Who is singing during the opening seconds ... and where can I found her work ... ?
.
Mala - For the Thrill
Why cant we just build an orbital "space junkyard"? - that we can haul space junk to, to be recycled. This might be a large inital cost but compared to launching missiles would be cheaper in the longer run and doesn't create more debris.
We need a giant vacuum system in space to clean up the debris. And whoever makes the Mess gets to pick it up.
Isn't space already pretty much a vacuum?😆🤣😉
European Space entities both government and commercial are developing space debris cleanup systems unlike the messy world powers. However these "clean up" satellites could be utilized to knock out satellites as well. The sword has two edges ;)
There are a few U.S companies developing something similar.
You can be sure the primary reason for financing these satellites is for your second point, any space debris is mainly to placate tax payers.
Nothing government doesn't for mankind is for mankind. It is done to. Not for.
There are private Japanese space companies trying to develop space debris tech
Happy 3rd Birthday Space Force
All we need is to find that one bacteria, then it's on.
We need a Raptor engine in our new Missile that goes hypersonic missile intercontinental ballistic missiles in one piece mix things up
If we're going to build a base on the moon, we will need a police force.
For what? Do you think there will be alien smash and grabs?
I nominate Sting for sheriff 🏌️
Aruba,Jamaica ooo I wanna take ya,
Bermuda,Bahama come on pretty mama.
the modern countries that understood the space debries should understand any countries that is emerging to be technological advancement will put any danger aside and test their tech to see if it works. this should be undestandable. for example, if a new country that are able to produce and join the nuclear power they will test their bomb to ensured they have experience and know that it works. no matter how you condemned them even if they are allies they will test it. there's always a bee that will try to be the queen no matter if they were part of the strongest bee hive.
Everywhere humans go, we leave large amounts of trash.
Conquered space? We are still struggling to get back to the moon, not even stay there just walk on it.
We are already in space
You couldn't say V for vengeance? wth!
With tax payers money. It's about time people had a say in what they are using thier money for.
We need another space race!!!! As
Much as it pangs me the reality is military is going to help advance space technologies! Just like they done in the past! Jet engine was designed for fighter jets before it went into commercial use! So space is going to be the same
Humans are neither equipped nor should it be their goal to travel through space, that's why they have their own consciousness and spirituality to rely on to that aim.
I guess we are hell bent on destroying ourselves?
When will the government tell the truth about alien life and the vehicles they are flying
Well the fact we live under a some my question is its obvious and the u can't send a rocket through the dome so that leaves port holes so when is space force going to reveal the secrets of how they enter and exit this Realm
