Landing 113 boosters is as comparable to Apollo and Saturn V as you could ever get, yet doesn't have the reverence in american culture. they've landed so many boosters but people are still thinking like "How Not to Land an Orbital Rocket Booster" CA. 2017 - is even a possibility or a norm (it's not)

I've lost the amount of times I've watched this. The whole thing is so incredible to watch and to learn about all the processes/procedures involved. The first landing was beautifully done and loved how it was at the same time the crew went into orbit. I also loved how the whole crew seemed so relaxed as they went to the launch pad.... smiling and dancing outside!

This is one of those times the video transmission of 1st stage landing wasn't cut off. Its one of my favorite portions of the show. This time it didn't disappoint.
I was 10 when we watched the first maned launch in 1961 where astronaut Alan Shepard was launched into space with my classmates at our elementary school on a 12" black & white TV while a teacher held the antenna so we didn't loose the tv broadcast with only 3 TV networks ABC CBS & NBC it took only a 15 minutes 28 seconds from the launch and the one astronaut reached what was the edge of space and then return back when the parachute deployed to land in the Atlantic ocean. now 71 and it's still great to watch our continuing journey into space and the heavens above and it doesn't get old, but I did!
Incredible working on the falcon booster landing camera feed. Happy to See it not freezing or cutting of. It video feed was crystal clear. Thanks to the video falcon 9 landing camera team. Great 👍 work done.
At 3:32:30 in the stream (T+5:24) you can see a couple pieces of frozen oxygen resting on the turbine exhaust scroll. Because the oxygen flashes directly to vapor in vacuum, the chunks are suspended on a cushion of vapor that insulates them from the nearly-glowing heat of the scroll. The ice pieces can be seen moving slightly as the engine vibration and gimbaling jostles them. I think they are made by evaporation at the exit of the LOX bleeds from the interpropellant seal that prevents LOX and RP-1 mixing on the turbopump shaft. These pieces of O2-ice are the usual source of irregular objects often seen floating near the booster on its way to re-entry.
I sat in front of the black and white tv, on the floor, just inches from the screen. Watching the astronauts land on the moon. I was 10 years old. I watched every blast off, every splash down. The shuttle era was amazing and heart breaking at the same time. Now, I get those same chills every blast off, every splash down. Thank you Elon and everyone at Spacex.

I could go on, and on... I assume that "every" positive comment was posted by an employee under duress? Because I've never seen actors laugh and snicker like little children during a "supposedly" live "event" in my entire life.... 4 and a half hours of "nothing sandwiches" and "stroking actors egos"... topped off with "godzilla movie" special effects. Wake up....
Droneship camera was hooked up to a star link satellite, thats why the landing looks so great. When its not, the connection comes from the coast which is too far for a stable connection, which is why the landing will often disconnect.
With all the delays Artemis 1 has been experiencing with ground testing, it’s safe to assume manned space flight will become an increasingly-private sector matter going forward.
I grew up with the space program and we've come along way from the capsule on a rocket! I still remember when they slash landed in the ocean and were carted off to isolation for fear of what they might have been exposed too! Definitely champion's of 🚀 🌌
A capsule splashing down? Like Crew Dragon? We've made very little progress at all. This is due to unfortunate political decisions. Real progress will be demonstrated when Starship becomes operational. The only crews isolated were the Apollo Lunar landing crews.

Today: so today's booster is on its sixth mission, with astronauts onboard a Dragon that flew two times already. Me, relaying this to my grandkids in some 40 years: "Wait, pop, you sayin' they used rockets ONCE and threw them out?"
