@@squatch253 thanks for pinning this one. This question is asked a lot and your explanation is spot on. I think at this point of having it on the same weekend for 46 years and the people keep coming. I think it would possibly do more harm then good to move weekends. Our club members put countless hours in to make the swap as good as we can but unfortunately no matter how hard we try we can’t control the weather.
@@squatch253 We used to have a big pull in May, 9 times out of 10 the weather ruined it. I finally convinced them to move it to early September and the turnouts are 4 times as big and it only gets bad weather usually 1 out of 10 years.
I've been to several swap meets at Lesueur and have learned to check the weather forecast. The event is AWESOME and I have added many items to my collections but will no longer make the trip if the weather is crappy. Look out vendors if the weather forecast in 2024 is for awesome good weather. I will be there-cash in hand. Thank you Squatch for posting this and confirming that it was good to stay home this year. Bottom line-You can't predict the weather. What do you do? This event is the best, but I am too old and complacent to be uncomfortable any more. But like I said, good weather-I'll be there with $$$. Looking forward to 2024.......
The relationship between Kyle and that D4 was like that of a comet to a black hole. Once he crossed the event horizon, there was no way back. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Laughed out loud at the cab signing...I wanted to join in at the chorus!! First time at Le Sueur - what a show! Something for everybody. In 6 hours of a very slow shopping walk we only saw maybe 60%. Wow. Highlight was finding your spot near the road on Saturday. It was great to talk to your dad about South Bends and chat a bit with you. Awesome channel. Hope to see you at Nowthen late summer and next year at Le Sueur.

I was there on Saturday. The 6U was gone by then but I did see the Cleveland. This is quite the show, my first time here. There was another trailered crawler, a small one, with a 12hp Kohler for power. Manual blade on front and rippers on rear. Did not see it in your video but it was an interesting item. I walked for more than 3 hours and did not see everything. Next year I will arrive earlier and bring along something to ride on around the grounds. Don't own a golf cart but will rent one or bring my LX-176 sans deck to cover more territory.

Sun, Wind, Rain, Sleet, but no Snow, what went wrong ??? You guys have got what I will never want in the way of weather, and that's for sure. I would imagine that Mr. Christ went home with both a smile on his face and less money in his wallet. Happy for you to find those needed pieces in great shape. There is always next year and as always probably more rain in which to find more goodies. Thanks Toby! Glad to see you got the parts you were looking for and then some. There’s a swap meet in Jefferson,WI the same weekend as LeSueur and always rains for that to. I was in southwestern Iowa all weekend turkey hunting and we didn’t get any rain. Very dry down there
I work for the company who supplies the swap with their shitters. There's always atleast one day that rains. Always.
I'm with Sr. I nearly have enough projects to outlive me.
The JD 530 is a rare tractor. It was small for the late 50s so not many were built.
That chainsaw is a Maul. A elderly Swede neighbor had two. It took two men, and wore them out.

Pretty sure that farmall cultivator tractor has a gear box up high for a fertilizer attachment. Those tractors were used a lot in tobacco fields which grows tall and benefits from a high crop tractor. Thanks for the video!

Unfortunately i didnt get to catch up on friday, by the time i made it up to the church/threshers kitchen my wife was pretty well soaked and getting cold. Found a few things to put in my wagon but unfortunately i didnt find as much for parts that i was hoping for. Seems a lot of vendors were no-shows due to the rain chances.

Looks like you guys lost a few trees this winter, up here in Esko we had a couple acres of alder that were just flattened, never seen spotted alder break like this.

Wish the swap meet was in the summer. Lot of times we can't make it cause we are planting or it's crap weather there and it turns into a mudhole. If we go on Sunday, most vendors are gone! Change the date please! Please? I'm subscribed!

I’ve been looking for a 2 bottom 3 point hitch plow for my 8 N.
Cheapest one I’ve found was $475. Way more than I would pay as I would never use it.

I always wondered why the John Deere tractors kept getting sucked up into you air cleaners. Seeing the 530 and the B with missing engines solved that mystery 😂

The trouble with Le Sueur is it happens too close to the big Steam Show at Pawnee Oklahoma. I've been to LeSueur twice a truly epic drive from north Texas. Pawnee Oklahoma isn't as arduous to get to.
I noticed that the Super M TA Diesel made it to your booth for one day… could it be that someone we know purchased it?
I also noticed that Kyle’s D4 has a really nice dealership tag on the seat as well!

@@squatch253 That's ok. I enjoy the Farmall videos just as much. Dad had Farmall H. M, and 560 when I was growing up. Your videos bring back a lot of memories of tinkering on the M with my dad back in the 70s.
