Heyo! Due to unforeseen circumstances this will be the only how to play video coming out for this set, and I don't think I'll be able to do lyrical either sadly. I'm quite literally unable to. Hope you guys enjoy this one though!
At least you got this one out. I was looking forward to see your take on Stoeirhaja build. Take care! Hopefully everything is well in your personal life.
2:28 ougijishi is only gains his on play 5k if your opp is at g3+. Its a good early game play because it generates soul resource, compresses the deck and you can spike a tsukuyodachi which sets up your mid-late game combos
You can also play Shojodoji very defensively. Using Kagechika, you can bind your “Stealth” trigger cards also, then use Shojodoji to call them to the Guardian Circle for more defensive strategy, or you can even use Shojodoji’s skill to bind one to set up. Dragon Empire’s effect heal triggers like Temarihime or Amaviera. These two heal techs can be useful against the other top meta deck Shiranui since that deck both has stride which are grade 4s and multi attacking standing units. Honestly Shojodoji is one of the most interesting and fun deck I’ve seen in awhile.
I also wanted to add that Utsuroi could also be set up in the bind zone to call it to the Guardian Circle. Also for budget players, there is Escorth Stealth Dragon, Hayashi Kaze.
4:41 Honestly, Shojodoji is one of the few decks that aren’t worth playing if you don’t have the complete deck. Unpreceden is your whole card advantage, and Tsukuyodachi is your whole lethality.
I bought all the cards when shojo released, just because I enjoyed it, now it's complete and expensive. Makes me wanna sell it but at the same time I love playing him, next time I'll buy 2 copies of my decks.
It's kinda too good. The deck contains muti-attacks and control of the opponent board. I'll hate to see this in any future restrictions list. So, any tips for those who may have to fight against Shojodoji players?
months late but Either counter starve them early or rush them like crazy. Without CB Shojo is a 4 attack deck. but his hand isn't massive so rushing him down means he's gotta choose which combo pieces matter the most
@yasahana4447 I tried rushing but it doesn't help that they also rush back and have Isazaou to gain card advantage. I swear this deck is another example of Bushi R&D not knowing the cards that already exist.

Yeah, Ougijishi isn't a hard beater like what Goonjouku used to be for Shojo

Your How to play series is really good, thank you for the great content!
Thank you!! This was extremely helpful.
Shojodoji video not having a pros and cons segment means it has no weakness, right?
It really feels that way
You need to make it how to play and how to beat

Update: I hate it when I'm right.
