- The first drive is always special, but in this case the car only had a base tune to get it to Cunningham Motorsports to get really dialed in. The main issue was we put new FIC GDI+ injectors into the car and a tune has to be applied so we didn't wash the pistons.

Yes, I spent money on a new Whipple supercharger, no I don't care if I could have gotten a ZL1 for cheaper at this point. Its a build, its a hobby, its fun as hell to learn and build. I have come a long way and this journey has been worth the cost.
If anything, know I could have gotten a ZL1 or a ZL1 1LE and choose not to buy it. I love my SS, and will keep content coming.

Don't you drag race anyway? The ZL1 would've been a waste of money for all the added track features, if you don't track it.
IMO, your SS is perfect for what you use it for, and it'd smoke a ZL1 anyway if your numbers are anywhere near what they were with the ProCharger. (in a straight line).

Car looks great. I am really starting to get on board with the new Camaros.....but homegirl at the end of the video when you were showing the hood, well she stole the show. Thats what its all about though. Hot cars and hott ladies. Gotta love AMERICA! Also TWIN SCREW anybody who says you should've bought a ZL1. Yes they are nice, but with this car you have the pride of saying I built it not Chevrolet. Keep on keepin on.

I really don't understand you could pop a D1X on there cheap, or a FIA-94 ...my god how much power was you already able to use down low last time out you said you were spinning how does moving the power band down with a huge Whipple ( which looks sweet) vs making 200hp more up top a F1A-94 can do you low 9s easy.....
I'm very confused when you talk about money ....when you look up a 2.9l Whipple...all it's plumbing , injectors pumps new tune how was it more economical than upgrading head unit and intercooler or just adding some meth?
I like the Whipple as well I just assume you got it heavily discounted or something for it to make monetary sense that's 10k worth of system all together with fuel and injectors and another new tune.plus 9.1 pulley...plus hood.....D1X would have hung right on for 2700 minus selling your head unit aka what 300 out of pocket ? The reason you had heat problems is you picked a much to small head unit for your desires...it's usually especially on a true street driven car to go to big vs to small......

Hey lethal garage I love your car man, I have a 2018 camaro redline ss, and I am highly interested In putting a Whipplesupercharger. Do you have to have a special tune after the installation of the supercharger so the motor won't mess up on you? Or is it plug and play?

I got the Fuel Injector Connection LT4 highflow setup. They flow 30% more than the stock LT4s

I'm trying to decide of I should supercharge my fifty or buy a ZL1. Any info I'd very much appreciate. I own the fifty its paid off. It has 15k miles on her idk if a supercharger will hurt the car bc its not set up for it.
What do you have? Twin screw, root, or centrifugal?...I don’t know about superchargers

The procharger is the better setup for running back to back quarter mile times. Your intake manifold supercharger will over heat doing just that. Also good luck trying to get it to hook of the line. Power down low power midrange. but up high it runs out of steam. As opposed to power midrange to high non linear power curve it continues to build more power the pro charger wins. Less heat repeatable and consistent with a more horsepower curve.

Car looks great!! I’m not a fan of the whipple cuz it’ll heat soak a lot more then your pro charger. Should have just changed it to a F1A but that’s the beauty of opinion. Hey lethal I got a 6th gen Camaro ss with 18k miles I'm noticing some shudder coming from the rear of the car almost like there's a rock stuck in the tires I have had the car balanced and alignment done still same problem do u have any ideas or have heard of this place let me know I figured you'd probably have heard of this just wanted to get another opinion.

LethalGarage amazing. Thats just insane. Ive been in the comments before. I have a 2017 SS 1LE. I couldnt imagine having double the power. This feels like plenty for me. Maybe 50 or 100hp more :) but you always want more and more haha. My plan for my car is to keep it N/A. Enjoy it another year or two. After the warranty....pull the motor and build it all at once. Do a modern Z28 build with it. 500-550whp all motor. Thats what I want. But ive been following your build since day 1. I always enjoy. Good luck. Enjoy the summer with that baby!
Whipple just looks and sounds so much better. Doesn’t sound like a bag of rocks in a dishwasher grinder. And another suggestion get an inter chiller kit for the whipple best decision I’ve ever made for my mammoth
Still prefer the ProCharger more. A D1X is what that car deserved.
Let's see Lethal all that power off the line. Lets see it hook with no wheel spin. Video please ") iT's a very tall order then you fall flat on power on the top end. Also you have that heat related issue to address with roots type blowers.

They make a Corvette option. Cost was $7.8k plus cost to powder coat and Throttle Body.

Have had 2 vehicles with twin screw superchargers, and one pro charged vehicle. I loved the power right off of the line from the twin screws so much more. The procharger didn’t seem to make power until 3000 rpm or higher. So unless you floored it everywhere. You never really used the power the procharger made. Where with the twin screw power. It’s always in the usable power band. Barely having to get into the throttle to feel it. Making it feel way more powerful off the line and through the mid range.

have a 2016 camaro 2ss with the bose sound system and when every I play music with bass there is this loud rattle and when I put the window down even slightly it goes away a little and also when the door is open. I have tried removing the two little plastic square peaces under the door and that did not fix the problem. Does anyone have the fix for it???
Probably need to remove the door panel to find out what is loose.
Hey i have a 2018 2ss it has the valves that change the sound with the exhaust can i change the factory muffler to a pair of after market mufflers and still use the factory valves in the exhaust ? Thanks Scott
If you get aftermarket muffles that support it
Twin Screw is a MUCH better choice.
So I assume the cam originally intended for the pro charger do you think changing the cam profile to match the 2.9 Whipple will help max rwhp.
It’s a blower cam, it’s built for Forced induction. It’s not specific to a ProCharger
WeaponX has amazing CNC valve covers and they can put what ever you want on them.

The numbers be low for some reason, but she hauls ass. Mine is the same wit low numbers but went up against a new Lamborghini and it barely won, as a matter a fact believe i could have won but wasn't in rsce mode plus he started half car length ahead of me and that's how we finished at around 135mph
Numbers are higher, just don’t have the right pulley or fuel pump currently. The demand is insane right now at launch
