I love my red rider way better than the crossman my boyfriend bought me today. Even though I mangled the red rider in an incident. It's still so much easier to use and I can't pump the Crossman much because I broke my spine a year and half ago and it's non union like the hardware. Red Rider is my choice. I need another one, though. Also, I don't even have to use the scope with my daisy it's such an extension of my it's like an appendage. I even had a hook for it on my wheelchair for running varmints out.

Red Ryder is 36.75” long. Legacy is 40”. I’d be interested in you both comparing how the rifle fits you.

I realize the comparison is just for fun, but crosman is much more versatile than daisy red ryder. It can be used for serious pellet target practice as well as varmint hunting. Too bad they got rid of pellet magazine clip they used to have on old powermaster 66 though.

have 3 of these now, haven't shot 1 shot yet. purchased 1st about month and half ago and stock broke off and receiver fell apart while oiling, contacted crosman, they sent a replacement, this replacement couldn't be cocked, crosman sent another, while trying to cock it the stock broke off and wouldn't cock either, ive tried 3 contact attempts by email and phone and no response from crosman. very disappointed in crosman quality, have owned crosman in past and never had issues like this.

That’s a bummer man. I’m sorry that happened to you. I had some issues with feed on it. It kept wanting to load more than one BB. Let us know if Crosman gets it worked out for you. -B
