just got one to discourage the squirrels at the bird feeder and to amuse myself during my chemotherapy treatments. Definitely an inner child kind of thing. The squirrels jump off the feeder in a hurry, but they don't stay away very long!

I've used many methods as a kid to load BB's before they came out with these bottles. One favorite was to pour BB's into a newspaper or something like that in my lap then use a flex straw to capture some, pinch the end to hold them until in position and use that to pour them in. The Best straws, are the ones with the paddle on the end, to scoop Ice-cream or thick shakes. So go buy a shake some place that uses those or whatever, and use those to scoop up BB's with if you don't want to use the funnel on the BB bottle to direct pour into gun or straw. I could plink for awhile when mine was loaded down. I miss those days. Like most kids, I graduated to a .22 and never looked back.
I don't use the bottle to feed my Red Ryder; I load by hand. I have discovered if you place the thumb at the bottom of the feeding slot, it will guide many of those frustrating errant BBs to where they should go. I am 65 years old and did not have BB gun as a child, but I do enjoy backyard plinking with my two "regular" sized Red Ryders,

I have high power pellet rifles but , there’s nothing like that old lever action design.

Awesome fun and memories... Need to put a dot of hi vis paint on the sights and double the distance. RR is fairly accurate and loads of fun. Thanks for sharing..
You should use a turkey baster to load BBs, it works great.
I had every Daisy model going as a kid in South Africa in the 80`s...ended up with about 8 different rifles and 4 pistols...moved up to CZ75B and a Remington 308 when I turned 18 though...
I had a Red Ryder as kid too. Also had co2 pellet pistol and m16 pellet rifle, but I shot the Red Ryder more often.
Man those sure were fun growing up.
Still fun today.

My uncle got me a regular kid size one for me recently this Easter, however I rather use it for aluminum cans like Annie Oakley.

It’s a BB gun with a smooth bore and low velocity. They are very inaccurate from one shot to another.

To be fair, those red ryder sights aren't great at least for me and even the pump master bb guns still aren't great with the sights because once I use the gamo pellet gun, I actually hit my shots but it could also just be the price difference. (Or I'm just bad at aiming im gonna go with that)
Plus my eyesight isn’t great either, I didn’t put eyeglasses on prior to shooting.

Ha Ha, first 30 or so seconds into this and I'm thinking, "Holy crap, do they really need to package a BB Gun like this?" I mean, WTF? it's a BB gun. We all had one of these as kids, hell, me and my brothers (four younger) had several BB Gun fights and some of us still have the pain filled memories of being shot in the ass as we ran away as they gave you a "5" count. Good times my friends, I don't advise this type of behavior today, lest you "pad-up: as we did but hey, your circus, your monkeys.

I have videos with 37K 25K and 20K views. And two other channels with 24K 23K and 21K. Maybe you need to do videos of a more popular subject. Also use long titles and use all the tags you can...you know key words that people are using in the search. It is not hard...good luck to you.

Are you shooting righty, but sighting with your left eye? You should wear eye protection when shooting BBs, if you hit that saw horse, steel BBs will bounce back at you!
I did set a bad example by not wearing eye protection.
I noticed the (apparent) right-side shooting but left-eye sighting too - it seemed like your right eye was behind the sight, but you were still squinting your right eye. That would explain any issues with accuracy - can't get a sight picture that way.
If squinting your right eye is unintentional, you might want to look into eye dominance and check if you're cross-eye dominant (in your case, right-handed but 'left-eyed'). There's a couple of ways to get around this. The first is to close your left eye to get your dominant eye out of the picture completely and force your perspective behind your right eye; two-eyes-open shooting is preferable so this isn't ideal but it is a workaround. Another way is to place a piece of electrical tape over the left side of your shooting glasses to accomplish the same thing without needing to squint - lots of bullseye pistol competitors use this technique, as do people who have difficulty keeping their strong eye shut without squinting up their weak eye as well.
The second and technically 'correct' solution (i.e. what a drill instructor in the military or professional shooting coach will tell you) is to start shooting left-handed. Seems like that's an over-dramatic solution to a tiny problem, but cross-eye dominance is a bigger cross to bear for shooters than you'd think. In fact, it's been found the disadvantage of shooting weak-eye is greater than the disadvantage of shooting weak-handed. That's because you can train yourself to be just as competent weak-handed as strong-handed (evidenced by Larry Vickers - cross-dominant, combat-proven former Navy SEAL who shoots rifles left-handed while being right-handed), but you can't switch eye dominance and no matter how much you practice weak-eye shooting. You'll always contend with focus/depth perception/apparent perspective shifts while shooting weak-eyed, so it's best to switch shoulders.

@@angryzergling7832 That shoot left-handed advice saved me from being kicked out of the Army 3 weeks into Basic. Couldn't hit squat right-handed, like 15 out of 40, so the instructor said switch hands. Never shot less than 36 out of 40 left-handed. I can shoot pretty well with either hand now. Just took practice.

350 fps. 106 m/s
reality, about 270-280 fps is typical, 300 fps is nice for a stock one.
Add a cobalt 327 spring mod and you will get around 350-370fps
