Asmodeus ended up being much more chill and friendly than I expected, which is a surprise considering the power he possesses both physically and socially.
considering the actual demon mythos, he is actually pretty chill, only becoming destructively obsessive when hes in love with someone, pinning over them.
The sin of gluttony understands the dangers of excess, the sin of lust understands importance of consent. I LOVE this so much. Also fizz and Asmodeus are just fantastic together
1. Agreed. The sins thus far basically being like,”We the sins, but we ain’t monsters 2. Yes! Fizz and Ozzie are the best! They join M and M in best ship in the Hazbin/Helluva series
@@EvilAutisms It makes me excited too... I would love if Belphegor understood the importance of self-care and just fucking *chilling* every once in awhile (she does make mental health meds, so we'll see...) but I'm unsure about Mammon. My gut feeling says that out of all of them, he's going to be the *Monster*. Like $5 to use the bathroom, no lunch breaks, end-stage capitalism billionaire monster. I am definitely expecting to see some scarily possessive behavior around Fizz next ep. Of course Viv could subvert that and make him a boss that understands that happy workers are more productive and earn more money buuut.... with the way the Greed Ring has been presented so far, I really think we're going to see Greed as being a Bad Dude.
Why do I feel like Wrath is gonna be a teddy bear that has anger issues. He has a body builder company, so he’s gonna be buff af. But being wrath he’s gonna get mad. But due to how things are looking, might draw lines on where wrath should not go. Maybe each sin has standards of where even their sin shouldn’t cross, because that’s just a dick move.
I think it makes sense that Ozzie would be against love potions. Lust is basically the strongest form of desire, so powerful it’s a literal deadly sin. It’s the most extreme form of wanting and yearning. So to use a love potion would be like cheating all of that and just making someone have those feelings. It’s a cop-out solution to make someone feel what Ozzie is the embodiment of which is not nearly as satisfying as those feelings coming up on their own. (I mean, there’s also the whole consent thing, but that’s honestly secondary in the reasoning why Ozzie would be against it. But remember kids: consent is sexy!)
I feel like the reason fizz said “today I learned that I hate going outside” is either referring to outside lust or fizz is an introvert or Y’know fizz being fizz
@@Shapeshifter_bot I think Fizzarolli will be fine with protection when outside of the Lust Ring or at least when he goes to Greed I think either one of those would be fair if they talk about it.
@@Shapeshifter_bot based on what Asmodeus said at the end of the episode he's probably going to double down on being protective with Fizzarolli I hope they can figure that out.
Small thing: Ozzie does not ever forbid Fizz from going outside in this ep. He makes it clear it will be with proection, but like you said, Ozzie understands the world they inhabit and what celeb status is like. There's an important distinction that's being missed; Ozzie doesn't say "You won't go out again" he says "you won't *have to* again. The implication being that should Fizz not wish to go out, he doesn't need to. Which is a bit on the enabling side of supportive of Fizz's statement that he doesn't like going outside, but it's not *controlling*. If Fizz still wants to go out he can, with protection. As for Fizz's facial expression, I think it's equally likely it's to do with his apology in the very next sentence.
Totally agree! I was also going to say that I think about what He saw as sad for not being told that he wouldn't be allowed out anymore, I interpreted it as Fizz feeling a little bit guilty about not taking Ozzie's concerns seriously. He really didn't want to worry Ozzie so that's why he went on his own.
@Butterfly_Princess264 Oh very much that! I was thinking guilty for getting hurt but I think yours works better. Guilty he didn't listen and brushed Ozzie off. Which, given that the entire episode we see Ozzie very MUCH listening to Fizz and taking what he says seriously.... I can see that making Fizz feel guilty. I'm just happy they TALK and they CHECK IN and honestly these two give me *life* lol.
Stupid take I think the face was about realizing if he never gets out he'll never see blitz again and they finally just broke that constructed wall and yet he's not sure about getting out again cause hes fucking traumatized.
I think Ozzie's take on love potions does not really contradict with what Verosika might have been doing. Making people generally hornier is not the same as making someone fall for a certain person. And while it still might have some uncomfortable parallels with drugging, we do not have an exact explanation of succubi powers. Verosica's song might for example just make the existing urges stronger, or make ppl more likely to act up on their true desires or whatever.
I like to think of succubi powers as more like extremely powerful pheromones than a love potion, per se. Even us humans irl produce pheromones that heighten each other's sexual attraction and libido, but they cannot produce emotions that aren't already there or completely override a person's ability to make their own choices. I imagine that is similar to Verosika's abilities.
Same. We have to differentiate between love and lust here. Ozzie would probably be fine with lust potions / siren songs for the moment, but love is something completely different
Personally, I’m fine and with the idea of succubi just making people hornier than drugging/mind control. It takes a certain kind of lust to make a love drug, which is weird for the embodiment of lust and to be against. But the lines got through in the script.
*Love the parallels between Ozzie x Fizz, and Stolas x Blitz.* One Couple is Happy and close; while the other Sad and distant. Also love that the episode had Ozzie with Stolas, while Blitz was with Fizz. It was a good way to show the mindset of both couples.
What I find interesting is that Stolas and Blitz have the kind of relationship Ozzie markets, and Ozzie and Fizz have the kind of relationship Stolas and Blitz want. I think Blitz wants it but is too scared to be vulnerable in any capacity
3:54 gonna point it out again: moxxie sang a love song at a strip club. You shouldn't really do that, so it's justified that Ozzie got a bit annoyed, he even said the M&M's were sweet but to get out because, honestly, a loving healthy couple at a strip club does feel weird- so, yeah
I wouldn't even say that Ozzie being against love potions is a retcon. We saw with Queen Bee that the Sins are more complex then that. Sure, she too wanted people to just enjoy the excess, but when Blitzo started to show some really problematic behavior she asked Luna to look after him. So while Verosika and other Succubi may use some "tools" to get humans into the mood that doesn't mean that Ozzie himself has to condone it.
@@Art_museum28 Something about that which I find hilarious is that, despite being the lust and depravity overlord, Asmodeus would almost certainly not approve of Valentino
the touch of overprotective really works if you look into the actual demons history, his more known existence is that he was obsessively in love with a mortal, and would murder every lover she would have, to the point when the last lover appeared, he was very much established to her as a clingy entity to warn people about. he was defeated by the last lover and sent home. aside from that he is very chill and doesnt make alot of appearances.
@@lilydragon2129 more than likely itll be a place of protection considering how he is with Fizz already, but also a good talk and possibly Fizz asking to be taught how to protect himself and ossie
@@SNOW_THE_WOLFi hope they do so they can have a double date and because of that i remember that vivziepop post all the titles of the upcoming episodes and even i heard that we will have another episode of blitz apologizing again on a tour so i believe blitz is changing just they way how we saw the episode of blitz and fizzarolli talk it out and fix their friendship instead of hating eachother more and i'm happy that fizzarolli and asmodeus is canon they are the cutest couple
That would require them to be honest with themselves and take inventory of their personal issues in truthful self reflection; but that would make them feel vulnerable and they would rather die than feel that at this moment.
@@Yeri._005 I'm more worried about the fact people think their relationship is normal and healthy I've seen many people think that it's considered normal
I don't think Ozzie is controlling, yet, but definitely protective with reason. From what we've seen so far, the Lust ring might be one of the best rings in hell. His problem didn't seem to be because Fizz was leaving the apartment without him or going out into town without an escort. It was the fact he was going to the Greed ring which right next to the Pride ring seems to be one of the most dangerous rings. Fizz is an amputee and an Imp. We clearly got to see his limbs are not suited for battle and he doesn't have the power or status to simply get normal demons to back off.
Tbf though, with those limbs how far they stretch, and the fact he can stand on them, Fizz could kick some serious ass with those things if he were properly trained. Maybe give him a bootcamp with Blitzo as the instructor to show him how to really use those things.
I'd say Bee and Tex could probably be the healthiest couple. We need to see more of them to know for sure, but unlike Fizz and Ozzie, they don't keep their relationship secret. However, I'm sure Bee's role as gluttony probably gives her more leniency when it comes to relationships, unlike Ozzie who represents lust, and therefore is expected to give into spontaneous desire rather than actual commitment.
Or because we know so little of them, they're entirely toxic with each other. We dont have any real scenes of them being a couple so they arent really in the running
@@snowleopard9907 Exactly! Can you imagine being a celebrity and going on a date with your significant other only to be swarmed by fans and paparazzi that won't let you to continue your date? It would be annoying and stressful to deal with
I really like the idea that the representation of lust is a performer. It's a nice metaphor to show a person's life can't be complete if all they have is lust.
Something to keep in mind, unless I misheard, Verosika said she was working for a company in Blitz's building. So during that episode she wasn't working for Ozzy, so his rules may not apply. The people she is working for could have zero qualms with forcing lust and even demand it to make her job more fruitful. Which does open up a chance at some background drama for Big Ozzy, other people using his sin as a tool and not respecting his vision.
Asmodeus got bumped up in my favorites list REALLY fast when he mentioned he hates artificial and forced love/lust. Also, the way he speaks with Stolas was really nice, they actually seem chill with each other
I don't think Fizz was sad about not going outside, I think he felt bad that he worried Ozzie so much. I genuinely believe that Ozzie is so protective because he knows Fizz isn't exactly capable of fighting, and with his past trauma it's expected he would worry.
Considering that I’m living in a city right now, especially with some pretty sketchy parts, I can completely understand Ozzie’s concern with fizz being safe, especially in the greed ring. Like just making sure you have a way to contact them, make sure they don’t go alone- not to mention we clearly saw from this episode that fizz has no sense of combat whatsoever. Not to mention, incase people forgot, HE IS DISABLED. Even if he does have robotic enhancements, he’s not indestructible. Those things can malfunction from just getting coffee spilled on them. Again, not like he’s broken, he’s capable of walking around, but at the end of the day, he still needs assistance. So overall I don’t blame Ozzie for wanting to keep fizz safe.
I don’t see what Oz is doing as controlling, to me their whole vibe reads as a daddy dom and little brat relationship and being protective is part of the package. Obviously there is a line between protective and controlling but i don’t think we’re at that line yet
I don’t think anyone expected Fizz and Ozzie being one of the best couples in the show💀. Truly I was like awwwww how adorable and I did see that red flag with the overprotective nature.
I love the parallel of Fizz being codependent with Asmodeus while Blitz is afraid to be vulnerable with Stolas, showing how Blitz is "strong" but not flexible in their dynamic and Fizz is "flexible" but not much strength in case of an emergency. To me, this says their flaws are two sides of the same coin and can learn and grow from eachother to find truly healthy middle grounds with their respective partners. The worst of how Asmodeus won't let Fizz cook might have seemed like a funny little joke, but it's still very telling that this was the only moment that Asmodeus put the playful energy on pause to say "no, I will do it for you because I know you can't do it on your own". And this may not be Asmodeus trying to keep Fizz dependent either; Asmodeus allows Fizz to be his own person and do his own things otherwise, so this tells me that Fizz struggles with certain crucial independent living skills due to the accident. Maybe the limbs and scars prevent him from feeling heat or pain accurately and thus is likely to accidentally start fires or burn himself. Fizz might have gotten a lot of benefits from the accident, but some of those benefits can't make up for some of the drawbacks. I've seen such effects happen to people I know IRL, so maybe I'm projecting, but I also don't expect my interpretation to be canon.
As a disabled person the idea that Fizz (who is disabled) need just a bit of help actually makes me very happy :) I am mentally disabled, not physically, but there are certain things that will be harder to do or that you need a bit of help with. I can cook, that's not an issue for me, but I have also put my entire hand on a warming stove before because I didn't think about it. If Fizz couldn't cook before hand (likely, given that everyone in the flashback seem to be children), it may still be hard for him, because he doesn't have a reference for how to move or what do to. This is ofc just my brain being happy about the fact that I can see myself in Fizz, if only slightly
I think you're right about a lot of this. With the cooking thing, it could be physical limitations due to the accident yeah... I also wonder if it was more something accidentally caught fire and sent Fizz into a flashback/panic attack too... mental scars instead of physical ones. Of course, it could also very simply be that Fizz lived in a *circus* before the accident and was a *teenager* most likely when the accident happened. He may just be fuckin *clueless* in a kitchen. Regardless, it seems to have become something they can somewhat joke about, judging by Fizz gently ribbing Ozzie about it. "What, maybe I can burn the milk this time. >:3"
@@JDM-is-my-name I relate to this so much too! I myself have spine problems and seizures, so regardless of my mental maturity, there are some things I can't do on my own and I often struggle with my self-worth because of this. I think it would be fitting for Fizz to learn to accept it and find peace within himself. Nobody is 100%self-reliant, but some are less self-reliant than others and that isn't always within someone's control.
@@saralovelace7219 I got the impression that Fizz has a lot of nerve damage from the accident and may have a harder time respecting his own limits. The first-aid kit, immediate replacement of his prosthetic and mentions of how kinky he is with Asmodeus gave me the impression that he gets his limbs replaced frequently. While he probably damages them a lot in bed with Asmodeus when they get too frisky, the fact he can keep up with the Prince of Lust at all says he can endure a lot of pain or physical punishment, which might be thanks to nerve damage. I could be wrong though. My theory/interpretation is based on what I have learned from my own nerve issues and human neurology in general. We don't know if Imps have the same neurology as humans or if this even matters in the writing (basically "it ain't that deep bruh") either and that would be valid if that were the case. I just find boring up with theories to be fun lol.
Wanted to reply to this comment and say dang, I love the insightful commentary and analysis on Blitz and Fizz's dynamic and weaknesses. I honestly don't think I'll ever find someone comment on this unique take anywhere else, it's very nice 👌 But also wanted to confirm that yes, Fizz does indeed have his ability to feel heat and pain be screwed up and nullified due to his robotic limbs. At the very start of the episode when Fizz wakes up and his arms stretch to go grab that cup of coffee, he actually pours most of it on his hand (understandably pouring accurately without seeing would be mad difficult). But yeah there's an entire lack of reaction or acknowledgement that he just poured scalding coffee on himself, and he actually pours very little in the cup. Guess he realized the cup didn't have much added weight or said screw it because he knows he's bad at pouring without looking, because when he drinks his coffee he just brings over the thermos rather than the mug to drink from So I could definitely see that being perhaps part of the reason his cooking abilities are affected. Or maybe he just sucks, since cooking is also visual lol
Not gonna lie, I think the best part of why I find them the healthiest couple in the show now is the fact that they know each other’s secrets. Moxie didn’t reach a point in their marriage where he told Millie all his secrets yet and then add the part where he had issues which he took out on Millie and caused them to argue in Episode 5. I find it wholesome to know after the accident, Fizz isn’t living a life full of bitterness. He tells Blitzø that he wasn’t broken and how amazing Asmodeous was to him. Then there’s Ozzy who sees him as his equal and actually listens & trusts him. They have nothing to hide (besides their relationship to the public i guess lol) and are living their lives just being lovey dovey, good for em
These two are definitely the healthiest couple in Helluva Boss along with Moxxie and Millie. I love that Ozzie is being protective to Fizz and the fact he gets angry when Crimson and Striker is holding Fizzarolli hostage, that shows that he doesn't want Fizz to get hurt. Plus I love that they cuddled together, it's just so cute.☺️💕
Agreeeed, and I think Fizz has told Ozzie what happened with the circus fire, so that just upped the protective levels with him. I’m all in for protective Ozzie 😭🙏
I'm cool with them being equal healthy couples, but the one thing M&M have over Ozzirolli is that they have nothing to hide about their love whilst Ozzie is still keeping up the false image that he thinks love is lame. Not that he can hide it well as Crimson said, it's the worst kept secret in Hell.
@@robbieking4070Perhaps because M&M is a married imp couple, asmodeus represents lust and has a higher status to be seen with an imp (or rather in love with one) For them he is hypocritical because he represents lust and desire (and they don't like that he is in love and even more so from a lower class) Hell himself is a hypocrite, it's understandable that he doesn't want them to know he's with Fizz (even though he and Fizz are the ones who make it obvious, like in Ozzies when Millie hit Fizz)
I feel Striker is gonna be that character trope where said character is badass, but gets shafted everytime or is barely used. Like Boba Fett in the Star Wars Movies.
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982This is gonna sound really dumb: Striker appears as this cool looking cowboy in "The Harvest Moon Festival", then he is seen as a threat to I.M.P when he is seen in possession of a gun that can kill demon royalty like Stolas and that Striker was hired by Stella to kill Stolas. At the end of the episode Striker doesn't kill Stolas and runs off. In "Western Energy", Striker returns and captures Stolas where and tortures him with a knife, cutting his face, stabbing parts of his body, and crippling him. He then fights Moxxie and Millie where he presumably loses and runs off. Then in "OOPS" Striker comes back and works for Crimson and captures Blitzø and Fizz. After the two former performance actors escapes and brings the Crimson's Building down, Sriker comes back and tries to off Fizz where he says "I'm threw losing these fights". Blitz saves Fizz by blowing up a near by explosive leaving Striker on fire and running off. In these scenarios Striker is shown as a threat in the series, but loses or fails in the end, like how Boba Fett is seen as The Greatest Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy, but then in "Return of the Jedi" Boba Fett gets shafted by Han Solo and dies in the Sarlacc Pit. Again, This Sounds Very Dumb.
My money says either Striker or Crimson will die eventually. I mean, I hope not, I love both of them, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. Striker, specifically, I'm not sure where they could take his character from here. His mental wellbeing spiraling out of control from losing every time he faces Blitz seems to be the path Striker is on right now. But what would that ultimately lead to? A full mental breakdown and subsequent reformation? Going absolutely insane and lashing out at everything around him? It's anyone's guess what'll happen to Striker going forward.
It should be noted that Ozzie is anti-love-potion. Liekly not anti lust (aka aphrodesiac). Possibly because he just, wants a natural relationship and hates forcing people to love him? There IS a diffrence between love and lust..
The way he described it, he hates forced love _and_ lust (it is artificial) and believes it should all be consensual and come from actual passion and stuff.
@@vilmublues752 Lust can be forced or willing, it just means craving a strong desire and should have just said he is against that, not said it isnt forced.
Theory: I.M.P. will be hired as bodyguards for Fizz in the future, giving Blitz and Fizz the chance to reconnect and catch up. Blitz might often insist that they are assassins and not bodyguards, but I feel like he would make an exception for Fizz and if Stolas voucher for it, especially if Asmodeus makes a deal with them that he will let them use Asmodeus crystals under the condition that they also escort and protect his little Fizzy Frog when he needs it.
@@saralovelace7219 That's what I hope for too! It's also the only reason I can immediately think of to get them to spend time together and outside of Asmodeus' palace. Plot could happen in the palace or out of it but I don't think Asmodeus thinks plot is a good enough reason to let Fizzy Frog outside unsupervised.
I love how this show portrays realistic relationships. They all feel real wheather it be the bad or good parts. A healthy relationship has ups and downs and YES communication is key.
You know how we were all confused by how Charlie, the daughter of Lucifer, was so nice? I’m starting to think the majority of the princes of hell may just be kinda like that after seeing Bee and Ozzy
That's where my mind to turning now too. But maybe Charlie is just too open and extroverted about her niceness? Like Bee is a party gal so of course she could be nice. Ozzy is proped as trying to get into many pants as possible, so why not with honey than vinegar? But also it's within the born-in-hell crowd. Charlie might be allowed to be nice normally but she is being outwardly nice to sinners which is weird to everyone born there.
I do wonder if this is Ozzie’s first “love” relationship since the newspaper mentions Oz is an eternal bachelor. It will be very interesting if we get how they met and ended up falling in love!
The expression Fizzy had while saying his relationship with Ozzy was something "great".... I don't even have words to describe what it did to me, just tears 🥹
Was literally just wondering when this one would come out and you deliver so phenomenally as always!! Adore your ship analysis videos so much, keep rocking, Sarcastic Chorus!!!
We see from the teasers that Ozzie is right there when Fizz performs in the next episode. (Even tossing Fizz the baton himself.) The controlling-or at least helicoptering-out of fear could be very real.
Asmodeus is clearly not too happy that his partner works for Mammon. Mammon, from what has been vaguely implied up to this point, seems to be an asshole, at the very least. Probably a greedy-as-fuck evil CEO-type character. Fizzarolli works for both of them. It would be interesting to see Ozzie and Mam get in each other's faces and fight over who gets to "keep" Fizz. Because that definitely seems like something they would do. There's no way in hell Mam would let Fizz go without a fight. Fizz is almost certainly his biggest money maker; the king of Greed wouldn't just give up his most successful performer JUST to make his fellow Sin happy. At the same time, Ozzie would absolutely put up one hell of a fight to get Fizz out of Mam's employment contract. He loves Fizz, and I'm pretty sure he does NOT like how Mam treats his most successful performer. Both Sins would have a valid reason to fight each other. Or at the very least have an extremely heated argument / screaming match.
They love each other so much, I nearly got cavities from the sweetness! On the side, Ozzie said "you wont HAVE TO" not "you Won't". Note the wording here.
Ozzie saying that Fizz cannot leave without protection again kinda hints at the employment of a bodyguard… one that has already proved that they can protect Fizz. I think that Blitzø will fill this vacancy.
:0 that would be super cool!! Fizz and Blitz still have a lot of shit to sort out, they may have made progress with that conversation and gotten decent closure, but a situation like this forcing them to interact more might help them work through what's left. They might even be able to repair a friendship out of it:D
@@Theatricsanddramatics It may also allow blitzø an opportunity to explain further about what actually happened that day at the circus, maybe even admitting that once upon a time he crushed on him. I wouldn’t expect it to lead to anything romantically now, but perhaps something for them to laugh about together
Fizz and Ozzie have been my OTP across all media since we were first introduced to them in Ozzie’s, I am living for all the appreciation they’re getting since the last episode.
I'd like to say these two see like a more "realistic" couple. Fizz has had trauma and, like it was said, might have a hard time opening up to others. Ozzy DOES seem very protective of Fizz, but who wouldn't be protective of a traumatized partner that they helped build back up(in this case, quite literally). I hope they continue to stay relatively healthy, they're so cute together I'd hate for something bad to happen to em 😭😭
I relate to Fizz a lot, I've gone through a lot of stuff leaving my body scared and looking like I got attacked by a wild animal. So seeing him bow up about it, show just how much he hates looking at himself made me feel very connected. And then to see Ozzy look past every scar, every scream, and every tear, just to lean in and tell the sweet little imp that he loves him. It touched me so deep in my heart that I needed to actually pause the episode to cry some.
I thought the “you won’t have to again” line was like Ozzie was never going to put him in a situation where he’d HAVE to go out but if he WANTS to Ozzie’s next line implies that he will hire people to protect him if Ozzie can’t
Coming back after Mammon's Magnificent Mid-Season Special, we actually see that Ozzy is not hyped about Fizz's involvement with Mammon, but he doesn't do anything to sabotage or stop him from participating and he really does support him. Furthermore when Fizz stands up to Mammon, he trusts that Ozzy has his back and that he isn't actually in danger. These two are amazing together and even if there is some conflict avoidance going on, it seems like a normal amount and doesn't seem to be getting in the way of the trust they share.
I feel like all Ozzie's problems could be fixed if he incorporated the place lust can have in a relationship. Lust for your committed partner can be far higher and more intoxicating than for random strangers. If he just incorporated that adpect of lust into his brand, he'd probably be fine.
Still shocked asmodeus, oz, ozzie, ruler of Lust, the embodiment of LUST. Somehow has the healthiest relationship and somehow has only maybe 5 sex jokes.
It's funny how Ozzy is described as a "protective mother hen" when that's technically what he is (his design is based off a Rooster). Also, I like that they're not "perfect" and have a few flaws. If their relationship is perfect, then there's no room for it to grow and, as we've seen, both sides have their own personal something to work out.
I mean- they do also have the less stress and judgement n such on them. Hellhounds are like a multipurpose type of minority, they're not judged when they make it big but people still will expect low of them. Tex doesn't have the stigma imps do, Bee doesn't have the pressure to not feel love that Ozzie does I can see why they'd be the best off
For me this "mature & gremlin" dynamic Fizzie has going on alot of times came across as a part of their dynamic they will develop *out of* in future and not some cute, adorable dynamic. Cause Fizz behaving like a gremlin child at times may be funny but thats also the problem, its very obviously MEANT to be entertainingly charming by Fizz. He is an imp who grew up as the star performer in a circus and is now a full on celebrity as performer/ jester. He's also deeply emotionally traumatized and may I say I wouldnt call it far-fetched if Fizz, when he's nervous or even kinda in general, goes back to this learned crazy-jester persona because thats still his default instinct to behave like that gets him positive reactions and him being insecure about anything, especially when he isnt feeling equal to Ozzie in some way, would only bring this out even more. Its a quite logical and deeply rooted trauma reaction, especially concidering how dehumanized the imps get from everyone else. In that case his star performer roots would have tought him to instinctively play the jester and cute little thing. The dehumanization is literally part of his persona and that would be most of what he knows himself to be. In Fizzie I see it when Fizz is being a gremlin about breakfast and Ozzie literally having to playfully go "stooop" bc Fizz is being a child/ crazy jester right now and while Ozzie understands WHY Fizz is behaving like this it doesnt change the fact that Ozz has to react and work with that when his partner cannot be talked to "normally". The moments in the episode when Fizz is being calm and emotionally grounded say so much about what their dynamic could be in teh future and what the goal is for them. No, I'm not saying Fizz being a jockster is bad and he has to be different, what I'm saying is that in my opinion it's obvious that to the degree Fizz is instinctively taking it (just like Blitz with his 50.000 agressive walls) is a clear sign of how badly his past has affected him and Ozzie - who is the well-adjusted mature partner because he isnt traumatized - is trying to be as patient and supportive of Fizz when he's displaying this dehumanizing gremlin jester behavoir in totally normal situations in which that makes a normal dynamic/ conversation kinda impossible. Then, yes, Ozz in some way indeed HAS to take care of a child because Fizz' trauma results in him being a gremlin jester at times and Ozz would be an irresponsible and neglective partner if he were to not take that serious or into concideration. It INDEED increases the risk when Fizz goes out alone to dangerous places (plus, Fizz is a celebrity who cant fight to protect himself, that is a massive factor in this and Ozz did explictily say that hes worried because a city in wrath is literally calld "ransom". Mate, thats anything but unreasonable) bc, as we saw, Fizz is hamming it up by default and that simply puts him in danger. Cuddling your partner like a toddler bc they have a trauma mechanism that makes them reckless is not only no solution but also harmful, but at the same time when your partner is as deeply traumatized as Fizz that it affects their personality and they go reckless (crazy jester), then for the love of god, YES, they do need their partner to act up and try to keep them save when the situation calls for it. Letting your loved one get hurt or put themseves in harms way isnt love and respect, its neglect. And Ozz regarding all of this was in my opinien so incredibly well characterized in the episode. He was supportive, patient, mindful of the dangers Fizz could end up in (no matter what caused it, Fizz himself or the society they live in) but he also wasnt unreasonable when Fizz made clear how much it means to him to go alone. Then he immediately let it go. The only thing you could - and should - call out is the ending with the "not going outside again" after Fizz says that today he learned that he hates going outside, once again in the child-like fawning way. This is absolutely a _potential_ red flag but one has to be fair towards Ozz and not immediately crucify him (aka the not traumatized partner trying their best to be as conciderate and supportive of a steady rock for their traumatized loved one to be able to find as much protection in them as possible) over this ONE gut reaction immediately after the bad incident. Especially since Fizz started the conversation with "Today I learned that I hate going outside" and Ozzie then responded with "you wont have to again". Ozz is agreeing with Fizz' own statement here. He's not arguing against Fizz saying he wants to go out again. He heard Fizz say that after his kidnapping he now wants to take refuge in their home and Ozz responded to that by saying that he will make sure no circumstances will be forcing him to go out. All while also freeing himself and Fizz from having to hide their relationship in front of their workers bc Fizz wants to be save and sound at home and Ozz wants Fizz to receive as much love and genuine affection from him when he already choses to stay inside. Yes, there is absolutely a _potentially_ red flag here. But god damnit, I would be surprised if they cant handle this. Ozz responded overprotectively by gut reastion because his love one was kidnapped and badly hurt and then said that he wants to stay at home. Ozz only sided WITH Fizz in this, he just wasnt able to be the level-headed partner who takes everything into concideration he was at the beginning of the episode. If Fizz later tells him he feels locked up I would be shocked if Ozz were to be completely unreasonable and not have an honest conversation with Fizz about both their worries and feelings in this as they did this episode to solve this problem. edit: sorry for any mistakes, english isnt my native language and I'm writing this on the go. I'll check later
On the newspaper there was a coffee mug stain, which means that Ozzie saw the news and still he doesn’t care that people know about them, he probably is just scared that someone could hurt Fizz to get to him, like Crimson did later. Also I really think that Fizz met Mammon first, maybe Buckzo sold him to the Sin (who was just waiting for the right opportunity) after the fire, since he thought he was useless at this point and Mammon took him, knowing that Ozzie could provide the prosthetics he needed
I got a good feeling that the next episode will finally improve upon Stolitz, but mannn after seeing Fizz and Ozzie, I need at least another part of an episode with them. I could watch an entirely separate arc of these 2 alone because of how well done it was
Great video, small nitpick from me personally: Oz said Fiz doesn't HAVE to go outside anymore, which impliies that it won't be a controlling thing, but more of a understanding deal. If it was a controlling thing, it'd be worded much differently from "You won't have to again", it'd probably be worded as "Don't worry, you won't be going outside *ever* again" (or something to that effect)
I feel Ozzie and Fizz is the reality of a relationship while Moxxie and Millie are the fantasy of a relationship. With Moxxie and Millie, their relationship is basically perfect, sure there's problems here and there but they're dealt with almost immediately and it's typically a love conquers all solution. This is the perfect ideal scenario for a relationship. There's really no where Moxxie and Millie's relationship can develop outside of personal growth, they'll just share a song about how they love each other because they are practically perfect for each other in nearly every regard. However, with Ozzie and Fizz, they're more of the reality of what a relationship will be like. Yes they love each other a lot, but relationships will have problems, it will have insecurities and concerns, no relationship is perfect, never think one day you'll get married and it'll be perfect. Ozzie and Fizz have imperfections, and that's the reality of it, you might ever find The Perfect Partner, the perfect match, but you'll find someone that despite all your difference, you'll embrace those differences. Fizz and Ozzie have communication issues, and this is normal, they probably don't know how to approach these problems because they want the other to be blissfully oblivious so they can be happy and not worry. When Ozzie pretty much Fizz in that gilded cage, he probably didn't see it as problematic and was only giving Fizz what he wanted because Fizz said he hates going outside. Fizz originally probably didn't want Ozzie worrying about him assuring him that he can handle himself because Fizz understands Ozzie has ALOT of work to deal with during the day, alot of stress, and worry, and don't want to add constantly being concerned over his well-being to that list. There's alot of development potential here, they'll need to learn how to talk to each other, they've already opened up so much of their vulnerable sides to each other, but they have to be ready to deeper to the soul. In the end, they love each other and just want what's best for each other. The first step they might have to take is being willing to stop with their hiding, not saying they have to make every detail of their relationship public, but they have to take that step to stop others from using their relationship against them. Their potential development in learning to communicate reflect Blitzo and Stolas, they need to learn how to communicate and its possible seeing first hand that communication can help might be the thing they need in order to improve their relationship.
I think almost everyone noticed how much Fizz and Ozzie’s relationship differs from Blitz’s with Stolas. They actually come off as extremely wholesome; they plan things together, and they set aside time to do things while at the same time doing what they need to. Even so, they still have the same unconditional affection towards one another. On the other hand, I saw Blitz’s relationship with Stolas more as an escape for both of them rather than something that is romantic in nature. What they need to do is get some sort of closure with the shit they’re going through. Hell, Blitz got some closure with Fizz simply by talking it out and reaching a mutual understanding. They need to talk about their shit instead of just bottling it up. Doing that goes a really long way, and it already has.
for what i get Asmodius is against the use of "love potions" because he believe Lust is a form of sport or art, and love potions take all the freedom away, but i can see him open to aphrodisiacs to some level, in the sense that aphrodisiac just help people to "release" a little. but will depend on the level of the aphrodisiac, something that just help the person break free from inibitions "OK" something that just take any ability to make choices form the person "NOT-OK"
IMO Ozzie isn't saying Fizz isn't allowed to leave. He's saying he doesn't HAVE to. Which implies he'll do everything he can to allow Fizz to stay home if he wants to. It definitely still could become a control freak thing, where he does anything he can to keep him home, but right now it just feels like he doesn't want to allow Fizz out on his own before he's ready to be. He sure would rather Fizz does stay home, because yes he does feel like he's more fragile than ever, but he's noy going to hold him there against his will.
Idk, i felt like the argument in the beginning seemed like a pretty healthy one, more concerned than controling. It feels pretty understandable considering hell is dangerous on its own, let alone the greed ring. Not to mention Fizz is a celebrity and Ozzie's partner which already puts more of a target on him than he already has. Going together, with an escort and just keeping his phone on him feels less controling and more very concerned
Considering the amount of Tech Ozzie uses in his business, it would be kinda cool to imagine there are some advanced hospitals in the Lust Ring (as odd as it sounds lol, but hey, medical romance amirite?), and that maybe after the fire, Blitz's parents (who seemed to be Fizz's caretakers at the time) took him to a hospital in the Rage Ring, only for him to be transferred an LR hospital due to how severe his injuries were. It would give the opportunity for Fizz and Ozzie to meet before Mammon officially comes into the picture. It would also help explain why Fizz trusts him so much with scissors and stuff, as he seems to have some medical trauma as well. (To be fair, in his case, who wouldn't?)
That’s what I think, just one thing: Blitz’s mom Tilla died during the fire, so it was probably Cash that took Fizz to the hospital but probably left him there.
I think in general, this couple is one of the more wholesome and healthy relationships in hell. The only piece I saw that could be immediately problematic was with how if Ozzie was treating Fizz like he's incapable of doing things independently. It came off like worry for safety but is there part of that focused on Fizz's physical ability. Fizz is a character with massive scars a robotic prosthetics, so Ozzie trying to keep Fizz in the gilded cage like you said can partially come from that. He can accept Fizz for it while still infantalizing him and his capabilities. Ozzie would do everything for Fizz to never lift a finger again, but is that what Fizz actually wants? Independence is a freeing feeling when you have previously been physically injured or chronically ill. So Fizz may want to do things himself but isn't being supported to by Ozzie. It's a tricky place to navigate in a relationship.
i think that ozzie- him not liking love potions was more so... like directly saying that love and lust should be like authentic and not something just manufactured !
But Fizz wasn’t upset that Oozie said wasn’t going to let him go out anymore. He was upset because of how worried he made Oozie and how he didn’t keep his promise of a low profile like he said he would. Maybe I read it wrong, but that what Fizz said in the next line after becoming upset.
I have a theory that may have a few holes. I think that possibly the reason fizz and Blitzo haven’t talked due to never being told they came or being turned away was because of Asmodeus’s control freak love and that this may become a major plot twist in the future that further boosts the relationship between Fizz and Blitzo. Now this does have some holes in it, but I think something like this could be interesting.
I wasn't expecting to love Ozzerolli as much as I did when the new episode dropped. I smiled the ENTIRE time they were both on screen. I love them so much ;A;
one of my friends, who has a mobility disability, pointed out that this could be for Fizzarolli a moment of "trying to reacess that he's not going anywhere" for Asmodeus, because Fizz is... a traumatised disabled person who just got into a scuffle which "confirmed" he's bad with the "outside" world. while Ozzie is all for encouraging safety and more control in Hell, we're not sure if this is going to be a problem in the relationship between the two of them; it's going to be about Fizzarolli character development, and maybe even reaching out to Blitzø again so that he can learn how to protect himself *and* Ozz if needed, since the "weakest" sin link isn't just thrown for an insult, imo, but for the "Hell is changing, and even Sins might get roughed up" setup
I suspect that at a later time when they get more direct public attention, Fizz ends up playing along with the concept that he was only after Asmodeus' money just to spare Ozzy's Sin of Lust image. It might not change the fact that Asmodeus was being lovey-dovey with someone, but Fizz is known for having contracts with Mammon and the Greed Ring; and it was also learned during Stolas and Ozzy's conversation that love potions are indeed a thing in the Helluva Boss verse. Letting the public think that Fizz 'drugged' Ozzy for his wallet could easily spare Ozzy the backlash.

Asmodeus ended up being much more chill and friendly than I expected, which is a surprise considering the power he possesses both physically and socially.
I would love to work at his factory.
considering the actual demon mythos, he is actually pretty chill, only becoming destructively obsessive when hes in love with someone, pinning over them.
That’s something I’ve enjoyed from meeting both him and Beelzebub. They’re both relatively chill despite being these hugely powerful demons.
Him and Beel have been my favorites so far, can't wait to meet all the other demon archons.
I thought he would be like Valentino, (because Valentino has a "lust" look)
But in this episode i was relatively surprised 👌

The sin of gluttony understands the dangers of excess, the sin of lust understands importance of consent. I LOVE this so much. Also fizz and Asmodeus are just fantastic together
1. Agreed. The sins thus far basically being like,”We the sins, but we ain’t monsters
2. Yes! Fizz and Ozzie are the best! They join M and M in best ship in the Hazbin/Helluva series
This makes me excited for characters like Mammon and (hopefully) Satan
@@EvilAutismsI have hope for Satan, but not so much Mammon, especially if the state of the ring is an indication of the leadership of the sin 😅

I don’t think Ozzie is controlling at all, but he’s very protective of his adorable boyfriend Fizz. After what happened, I can’t blame Oz for it.
I Hope Asmodeus and Fizzarolli find a compromise of where Fizzarolli can go without protection.
@@leebulger7112 that leaves introverted fizz and fizz being fizz
He really didn't want to worry Ozzie so that's why he went on his own.
thanks someone said it
@Butterfly_Princess264 Oh very much that!
Very well explained 👌
Who let the science into the show about hell people?!
Your just describing viagra which you can drug people with.
*Love the parallels between Ozzie x Fizz, and Stolas x Blitz.*
One Couple is Happy and close; while the other Sad and distant.
Also love that the episode had Ozzie with Stolas, while Blitz was with Fizz. It was a good way to show the mindset of both couples.
Yes, the parallel makes everyhting for me I think, and the moment where fizz and blitz hug is rlly awesome
But Stolas and Blitz are not actually a couple yet, so they could be happy and close if only they became a couple
What I find interesting is that Stolas and Blitz have the kind of relationship Ozzie markets, and Ozzie and Fizz have the kind of relationship Stolas and Blitz want. I think Blitz wants it but is too scared to be vulnerable in any capacity
I love them so much I just hope blitz and stolas can sort their shit soon so that fizz and Ozzie aren't one of the only healthy relationships

He probably mostly said it because Millie KO-ed Fizz
@uniwolfgamer1094 oh most definitely
Yeah like. Ozzie has a whole brand to look after, and Moxxie just came in and went against everything the club stands for.
And, despite a polite warning, Moxx STILL went against the rules. That was so annoying...
exactly
I would say they are a pretty healthy couple and when they argue they don't scream at each other and do it in a healthy way. A great couple.
I kinda like that. While they endorse their respective sins, they recognise that they have to be used in a way that benefits everyone involved.
It’s like, they are the sins, but they ain’t monsters

Kinda hope thst doesn't happen in the show tho

@@Yeri._005 I'm more worried about the fact people think their relationship is normal and healthy I've seen many people think that it's considered normal
They will dont worry stolitz is a slow burn ..❤
Honestly it makes sense. Everybody EXPECTS degeneracy from Ozzie. Therefore, the actual degenerate option for him is to be wholesome.
@@gregvs.theworld451 I think bootcamp with Blitzo would be great. Both so Fizz can learn to fight and so they could have time to mend their friendship
fizzmodeus were so wholesome this episode that i _genuinely_ forgot that they’re all demons in hell until fizz left the palace 😭
So it would seem.
So unfair double standards
Or because we know so little of them, they're entirely toxic with each other.
We dont have any real scenes of them being a couple so they arent really in the running
Fizz ans ozzie are example of celebrities being together and most celebrity dont like that stuff being air out
@@snowleopard9907 Exactly!
Interesting, I’d like to see something on that in the future
Asmodeus got bumped up in my favorites list REALLY fast when he mentioned he hates artificial and forced love/lust. Also, the way he speaks with Stolas was really nice, they actually seem chill with each other
I don't think Fizz was sad about not going outside, I think he felt bad that he worried Ozzie so much. I genuinely believe that Ozzie is so protective because he knows Fizz isn't exactly capable of fighting, and with his past trauma it's expected he would worry.
Interesting how the seven deadly sins from Helluva boss have less problematic relationships than the ones from the anime "The seven deadly sins".

They’re such an an adorable pair and seeing them just starting their day like normal was so wholesome
I don’t see what Oz is doing as controlling, to me their whole vibe reads as a daddy dom and little brat relationship and being protective is part of the package. Obviously there is a line between protective and controlling but i don’t think we’re at that line yet
He said in the future
"Daddy dom and little brat relationship" you literally described what i see in their relationship too, lol!
As a disabled person the idea that Fizz (who is disabled) need just a bit of help actually makes me very happy :)
I am mentally disabled, not physically, but there are certain things that will be harder to do or that you need a bit of help with.
I honestly don't think I'll ever find someone comment on this unique take anywhere else, it's very nice 👌
But also wanted to confirm that yes, Fizz does indeed have his ability to feel heat and pain be screwed up and nullified due to his robotic limbs. Guess he realized the cup didn't have much added weight or said screw it because he knows he's bad at pouring without looking, because when he drinks his coffee he just brings over the thermos rather than the mug to drink from
So I could definitely see that being perhaps part of the reason his cooking abilities are affected.
15:50 "pure wholesomeness" is best way to describe this magnificent duo
I think if Ozzie keeps Fizz in the area is more because Imps are very easy to die. Probably that.
@@candlestixsmixedwithtrixs Awwwww!😍💕
I feel Striker is gonna be that character trope where said character is badass, but gets shafted everytime or is barely used. Like Boba Fett in the Star Wars Movies.
What do you mean?
@@QueenofSilence101i think is a 50 /50
@@QueenofSilence101he die, o gets redeemed
It should be noted that Ozzie is anti-love-potion. Liekly not anti lust (aka aphrodesiac). Possibly because he just, wants a natural relationship and hates forcing people to love him? There IS a diffrence between love and lust..
Maybe Ozzie is also a fan of consent first?
I'm honestly hoping that Blitz becomes his bodyguard just so they can continue repairing their friendship.
Hopefully we get more villain team ups like Crimson and Striker, as well as cute couples like Ozzy and Fizz.
It's possible verosika is "bending the rules" and simply not telling ozzy she's using a love potion
Mil and Mox: we're the most healthiest couple in hell
Fizz and Ozzy: hold my beelzejuice
I didn’t even realize they were arguing at the beginning of the episode due to how they weren’t yelling or mad at each other.
14:14 that little detail of asmodeus' breath turning into a heart before it vanishes
Either that, or he'll be just there to support him.
We'll see.
I actually like how Ozzie told Stolas that it wasn't his story to tell.
Consent being one of the personification of lust’s core values is oddly wholesome
“Today i learned i HATE going outside” “you DONT HAVE TO ever again” as in its still an option. I think its just a healthy relationship for once lol
I feel like all Ozzie's problems could be fixed if he incorporated the place lust can have in a relationship. Lust for your committed partner can be far higher and more intoxicating than for random strangers. If he just incorporated that adpect of lust into his brand, he'd probably be fine.
the fact that the most unhealthy part of their relationship is that ozzie loves fizz too much honestly speaks for itself
I love how supportive Blitz and Stolas are, super mature and understanding that they were only ever attacked to reinforce Fizzie's nonexistence
Still shocked asmodeus, oz, ozzie, ruler of Lust, the embodiment of LUST. Somehow has the healthiest relationship and somehow has only maybe 5 sex jokes.
Their relationship may end up not being perfect but Ozzie’s voice actor *is* perfect for him! I could listen to Ozzie talk all day
Man, raid shadow legends marketing campaign is still going strong even after these years
It's funny how Ozzy is described as a "protective mother hen" when that's technically what he is (his design is based off a Rooster). Also, I like that they're not "perfect" and have a few flaws. If their relationship is perfect, then there's no room for it to grow and, as we've seen, both sides have their own personal something to work out.
Don’t underestimate the pairing of Tex and Queen Bee. They’re probably the most emotionally mature couple.
Seeing how they are in the episodes we see em in, makes sense
I mean- they do also have the less stress and judgement n such on them. Hellhounds are like a multipurpose type of minority, they're not judged when they make it big but people still will expect low of them.
Tex doesn't have the stigma imps do, Bee doesn't have the pressure to not feel love that Ozzie does
I can see why they'd be the best off
Ep7 s2 is the cutest thing ever as Fizz and Ozzie get more wholesome and snuggly
Ozzie and Fizz work so well together! They are one of my top favorite couples in HB! And I hope we see more of them together in future episodes!!!
Both Tex/Beezle
and Ozzy/Fizzy are my personal fave couples as their relationships are wholesome.
I could watch an entirely separate arc of these 2 alone because of how well done it was
When S2 E7 came, it shows how Ozzie was more protective a partner then I thought. As he was trying to protect him from Mammon.
Great video, small nitpick from me personally:
Oz said Fiz doesn't HAVE to go outside anymore, which impliies that it won't be a controlling thing, but more of a understanding deal.
Doing that goes a really long way, and it already has.
for what i get Asmodius is against the use of "love potions" because he believe Lust is a form of sport or art, and love potions take all the freedom away, but i can see him open to aphrodisiacs to some level, in the sense that aphrodisiac just help people to "release" a little. but will depend on the level of the aphrodisiac, something that just help the person break free from inibitions "OK" something that just take any ability to make choices form the person "NOT-OK"
can we just appreciate how moxxie still sang his song after practically being bullied by a prince of hell?
That’s what I think, just one thing:
Blitz’s mom Tilla died during the fire, so it was probably Cash that took Fizz to the hospital but probably left him there.
I unironically had to stop the episode THREE TIMES in the first sixty seconds because serotonin was threatening to give me a heart attack, I’m so ok
8:47 “These two mfs could not do a worse job at this if they tried.” 😭✋
Honestly they are one of my favorite couple of all like time media cuz they are SO CUTE and so well done, it makes me so happyyyyy
i think that ozzie- him not liking love potions was more so... like directly saying that love and lust should be like authentic and not something just manufactured !
Honestly, Oz calling Fizz "Froggie" is absolutely adorable 😭😭😭
I have a theory that may have a few holes. I think that possibly the reason fizz and Blitzo haven’t talked due to never being told they came or being turned away was because of Asmodeus’s control freak love and that this may become a major plot twist in the future that further boosts the relationship between Fizz and Blitzo. Now this does have some holes in it, but I think something like this could be interesting.
I wasn't expecting to love Ozzerolli as much as I did when the new episode dropped. I smiled the ENTIRE time they were both on screen. I love them so much ;A;
I'd think that love and lust can coexist where Asmodeus wouldn't be seen as a hypocrite.
I'm just...super in love with Fizz's pajama top. Its so cute I wanna draw one of my own characters in it!
one of my friends, who has a mobility disability, pointed out that this could be for Fizzarolli a moment of "trying to reacess that he's not going anywhere" for Asmodeus, because Fizz is... a traumatised disabled person who just got into a scuffle which "confirmed" he's bad with the "outside" world. while Ozzie is all for encouraging safety and more control in Hell, we're not sure if this is going to be a problem in the relationship between the two of them; it's going to be about Fizzarolli character development, and maybe even reaching out to Blitzø again so that he can learn how to protect himself *and* Ozz if needed, since the "weakest" sin link isn't just thrown for an insult, imo, but for the "Hell is changing, and even Sins might get roughed up" setup
Did we just dethrone Moxxie & Millie as couple goals?
I think fizzmodeus might give Charlie and Vaggie a run for their money for how adorable they are.
That’s not even a contest, Charlie and Vaggie are right below Mammon for how toxic their relationship is.
I really hope they do an episode where they do a double date of Fizzy and StolBlitz since now they seem to be on much better terms
