    Something you didn't speak about but I thought was also completely fire, you can definitely see the differences in the girls and Fizz's performances. The girls sang about money, selling themselves, calling the fans "pigs" and quite literally flying above everyone, where as Fizz sings about something the fans can relate to, goes into the crowd, bringing it to their level and speaks to the kid directly. You can tell when an artist loves their craft and tho Fizz has every right to hate his boss, you can see the love of performing and the real fans, not the creepy dude

    • @BlueBlazeKing

      Not only that but you could also see the twins as a dark reflection of what Fizz has become. He took the job to further hone and share his craft to the world and inspire future clowns to do it for the art. And like you said the twins don’t really care about the art, they only care about the money and fame, essentially the perfect brand for Mammon

    I actually liked Blitz being in this episode, not only does he get to re-establish his friendship with Fizz but he's also a witness to an healthy relationship. That of an imp and a Deadly Sin, showing him that not all royals are in it for the kink but also for the real thing.

      I was worried we'd have a big reconciliation between these two, only for it to not get mentioned for several episodes leaving us to wonder what their new relationship is like after the talk.
      I was so happy Blitzo was in this episode just to show us what the new vibe is. Also not sure why the reviewer thought that Blitzo and Fizz's relationship was hunky dory in this episode. It was clearly better, but Fizz was upset Asmodias invited him. They were on good terms, but not like everything was swept aside. This episode have Blitzo the opportunity to talk some sense into Fizz and defend him some psycho fans, which helps cement their new relationship further. This was the perfect opportunity to weasel in more growth between their new friendship without making it the main subject of the episode.

I felt like it also showed that As at least sees Blitz as a good advisor and potential friend and is trusting him, so while Fizz might be understandably slower it shows that there’s potential there. Yes to everything in this thread!
      I'm pretty sure they set Fizz up as somebody for Blitzø to get his head straightened out by after the inevitable Stolitz-meltdown next episode.
      After only episode 6, that would not really have worked for me as, yes, they talked about their insecurities of dating "above their class", but it was also made clear that Fizz is in a much better place relationship-wise, which would make it nigh impossible for Blitzø to confide in him comfortably.
      In episode 7 however, he saw that Fizz is NOT so above it all, and that some traits stuck with him ever since they were teens together - which shows that you can find and deserve happiness, even if you haven't outgrown all your demons.
      Moreover, he got to help him with that, which (in Blitzøs mind) would put them on more even footing again.h

      Same, that moment made me cry a little because Fizz definitely felt like it was for those people that made it worth to stick around.
      There was love and admiration that the kid felt for him but it wasn't a thirsty kind of love, a genuine pure affection which warmed his heart and helped him keep going/know that it's still worth it because there's genuine people among the sick ones.

    This episode basically confirms that Ozzie wasn’t the weakest sin like Crimson said last episode. He was willing to fight Mammon for Fizz and Mammon had to resort to trying to exploit their secret before running away. Crimson must’ve just been referring to him being the weakest sin cause he had that secret which is now completely moot.

    • @bubblycups
      @bubblycups 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +70

      Totally. But I think he might also be referring to the fact that out of the sins, Lust would be the least harmful thus less influential. That is, while it IS a bad, and even dangerous sin compared to the rest it probably doesn't have much impact in the hierarchy of the princes.
      Probably would lead to him being demoted or have less power/influence by Lucifer, seeing as him being public with a low class being would lead to demons and sinners calling hypocrisy and later a lack of respect for the princes.

    • @drksideofthewal
      @drksideofthewal 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +49

      That doesn’t mean that Ozzie isn’t the weakest, he could have been caught up in the heat of passion. Also, the fact that Mammon defaults to extortion is in character, and not necessarily proof that he’s weaker in a fight.

    • @edgyelectrokinetic6761
      @edgyelectrokinetic6761 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +40

      I personally think Crimson just considers Asmodeus the weakest sin because he knows of the relationship between Ozzie and Fizz, therefore thinking of Ozzy as a sissy compared to the others.

    • @twilightzone7141
      @twilightzone7141 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      We actually still don't know if his words are true or not; it might just be crimson believing that due to how lust isn't typically considered the strongest or worst sin compared to the others and just assuming or if he thinks Ozzie loving Fizz as a weakness (which doesn't make sense as Bee is dating a hellhound).
      You also have to remember Luna picking a fight with Bee until she transformed, which reminded her who she was dealing with, and she backed off. The heat of the moment thing is also plausible, and I can see Ozzie willing to fight Mammon, weaker or not, if he was threatening Fizz. After all, love makes you do stupid things.
      I think it is more likely they are all of rather equal power, minus Lucifer, who is obviously the strongest, and his family. Though I can see Mammon as being stronger than Ozzie just by the simple fact that Mam embodies his sin to a freaking T! He revels in it, not to mention how many people consider greed to be one of the worst sins to have, and that could easily correlate to power. Just because Mammon backed off doesn't mean he would not have been able to beat Ozzie; more likely, it isn't in his personality to fight as he likes to exploit people, not brawl, and he is of equal status to Ozzie, so if anyone was able to ruin Ozzie's image or be able to get back at the two, it would be him. I think that is a reason they brought another sin as an antagonist, as who could go against Ozzie? rarely anyone.
      I think it is highly likely that Mammon would not have an easy win if Ozzie and him fought. I think Ozzie knew this, as he only stepped in ready to fight once it looked like he was going to attack Fizz. Before that, he was just trying to get Fizz to quit.

    My friend and i discussed the five year gap and she thought that maybe Fizz won the first contest and his bday was also a farewell party, hence why Blitzø was both upset and trying to confess before he went away to stardom, only for the accident to happen and Mammon seeing "rising star recovers" as neon cash lights while Fizz recovered, adding "i literally made you" to the list of pressure on Fizz when he foots the rebuild bill by getting Ozzy the "master builder" to personally oversee Fizz's recovery. Then, they fall in love; Ozzy calls him inspiring, and what's more inspiring than a survivor literally and figuratively putting themselves vack together? Thus why Ozzy knows how to repair Fizz as well, having originally built his parts and helped him heal and addinf another layer to the cake of Fizz feeling like Mammon is everything and withiut him Fizz is nothing, making Mammon the literal reason Ozzy and Fizz are together as indicated by Fizz's lines in the dressing room. It was all so interesting to watch and my heart is happy with their sappy, sweet, kind of cringe moment singing together 😂

It's a double gut-punch when Fizz is also disabled, and it's just disability solidarity. Bodyguard and blowing Creepzo's head aside, Blitz can provide support in a way Ozz cant rn, since Fizz will see Ozz as "biased" because he loves him, so someone like Blizt, that doesnt really holds prisioners when he speaks would be a more effecfive support rn
      Also, as someone else saidn Fizz just needs as many people on his side as possible, and Blitz can intervene directly unlike Ozz until the end
      And from Blizt's side, it helps him understand Asmodeus trully loves Fizz, so his idea of "upper class demons dont love our kind" is challenged, which in the future helps with Stolas

But at the end I thought about it, Blitz being here and having Ozzie reach out to him and see him help made me realise that this would be the extra help to consider giving Stolas the crystal for Blitz (I know that at the end of Oops after Fizz told him to give it to him he said sure but I think it would make sense for him to not be 100% on board with just handing over the crystal that easily, like he'd need some kind of proof). Couple things: I will always love the use of color in this show compared to Hazbin's more red leaning scheme. The colors are so bright and vibrant, and I love whenever she switches up the palette like how she did during Cotton Candy in Bee's episode. The Twins' song was honestly incredible, and the laugh and switch up to warm tones honestly kind of reminded me of a moment in Arcane when Jinx does that same jump and landing during a fight with the Firelights. The animation overall in this episode was just incredible. Really up there with Bee's episode.
    I LOVED the impact line moment when Ozzie appeared behind Fizz that was....GOD tier good. And I love the fact that despite everything that happened at his club, Oz and Blitz are legit chill with each other, it shows that not all sins are about that "let's make everyone else's life miserable." life and it's refreshing. I truly wonder what the endgame will be for the show, because it seems to be pitting anyone associated with Blitz against others in Hell. Now that Asmodeus is officially kind of part of Blitz's crew, it'll be interesting to see where things go for him here.

    As someone who had to have a "I won't be extending my contract further" talk last Friday with a shit line manager for a job where I was constantly overworked or expected to make decisions way above my position, but had to make sure I ended the contract amicably, Fizz's 2-minut notice (fuck you) song was the catharsis I didn't know I needed. Fizzies "Fuck You" song hit hard with me.
    "I have taken shit
    Been crushed under your heel."
    It reminded me of a toxic relationship I was in for 2 years. Constantly feeling trapped and couldn't escape.
    "I have lost myself
    I have worshipped at your feet."
    I always had to take the blame and defend him for his behavior when he angered my friends. I'm glad I am out of there, and I am happy Fizz did the same thing.

    I agree with everything except I liked that Blitz was there -- it shows the drastic difference in how the two handle situations, it shows the more caring side of Blitz that he's repressed since the fire (a lot of criticisms toward Blitz were him being an ass who doesn't care when it's very obvious he cares too much, this ep at least gives those people a view of his caring side) and his sass toward Mammon and the situation was hilarious.
    Also on "look at this" from last ep, I swear I feel like the only person who loves that part, it was my humor entirely, it's one of my fav scenes in the entire show and everyone seems to think it went on for too long lmfao. It's fine, we're all different, I just love it.

    As a person with anxiety that had a semi-similar experience to what fizz had in a place I used to volunteer in, I also must say that this episode does a PHENOMENAL job at portraying this type of workspace abuse and how it affects people. It's not always about the person in charge being obviously mean. It's about the subtleness of it all. From the way Fizz attempted to be happy just to satisfy Mammon, to the justifications he would make primarily for himself, to how blinded he is to his close ones and even to his own thoughts, how much more power you think this thing has over your life then it actually has, or to how you can perceive the abuser as so much more experienced then you in a field you might even know more then them, causing you to spiral into think you're just a speck under their feet... This was done so accurately I could trace moments of my own life that went down almost identically to some of Fizz's behaviors. Especially his interactions with Blitz. It was terrifying.
    Then there's his relation with Mammon. These exchanges felt *too* fucking real. The pain isn't from a generally grumpy demeanor or actively showing you you're not at the best of interest. It's putting the façade they value you and that what you're doing is big and helpful, while absolutely silencing you, preventing you from omitting a single word and expressing you're problems. Each of this conversations was accurate. They first isolate you, make you think everything is alright and going according to plan, and then silence you and leave problems unanswered. This leaves Fizz helpless and confused on one hand, and on the other like he can't go and seek help as he got all the answers he needed.
    This of course comes with manipulation. And I like how this episode didn't leave out an important insight: a person doesn't need to be an intelligent and elegant master-mind who thinks five steps ahead to be manipulative. They can be oblivious, lack perspective and maybe even be a little stupid (as we can see throughout Fizz's "Fuck You" song), and just know how to control people. In fact, the way Mammon is so obvious about his clumsy attitude and mean behaviors causes the manipulation to be hidden even better. And most importantly, in your video you mentioned how Mammon has a moment of kindness to hide his greed, but even this moment of kindness isn't kindness. The best card in a manipulator's hand is showing that they can care for you and back you up when you're at you're low. They can do it even once and you'll think that after that act of kindness, there is no way they could trully have ill-intentions. Besides, if one time you fell they supported you, and the next time you fall they are upset, this must mean that this time you're in the wrong. By saying the Glam Sisters will go before Fizz, Mammon doesn't actually give Fizz time to solve his problems. Two to three minutes are hardly enough time to fully recollect from a panic attack. But by giving him the time in the first place, he traps Fizz in the mindset that this is the proportionate help he needs. Making Mammon seem like the saint he isn't.
    And last but not least, the part that broke me in this episode wasn't the horn reveal (though that too), but when the hands started to shake. It's that moment when things are so bad and have been piling up so awfully even your body starts refusing what you think you need to do. It's the moment where an incredibly easy task is laid out in front of you. Just use some foundation, just walk on stage and do the one thing you're good at. But your body, no, you yourself refuse. You can see Fizz fighting himself. On one hand you have to do this. You must be horrendous at all and anything if you can't do this single thing. But you can't. You just can't anymore. So there's only one thing you still can do. Hurt yourself, keep yourself going just to punish you for wasting your opportunity, don't rest (and in more extreme cases not shown in the episode don't eat or sleep either), and berate yourself for falling from grace and not being good enough. Except as said by Blitz and Ozzy countless times throughout this episode, there isn't such a thing as "good enough" in these situations. They ask "good enough for what?", which is a valid question, because the last trick a manipulator has is that there is no finish line. In your video you said that this will just be a milestone, but often times it's not even that. You can run at the finish line all you want, but the manipulator will be the one pushing and holding you back from reaching it. That way they can keep you going and striving forever. Even if Fizz would have succeeded the show, Mammon could have thrown a last minute twist on the show, or done the same nasty tricks the year after. And by the end of the day, Fizz can't actually impact Mammon's mind. Mammon never really listens closely to his words. His mind was already set. Who knows, maybe he wasn't even counting on the Glam sisters to begin with, as making a doll for not one but two new models is twice the budget that would be needed for just keeping Fizz. Besides, it's established very early on he would default to valuing them less due to their gender. But it's getting Fizz always running. Never being good enough because there isn't a good enough, that let Mammon truly control Fizz. And I think that that's some extraordinary writing.
    As a final note, I would like to leave that I adore how they kept Mammon intimidating all the way to the end. Even after Fizz stood up to him he didn't become a joke. Just showed his true face. And if the show continues being as realistic as it was thus far with this, Fizz won't stop fearing him right away. He'd just start openly hating him too.
    Sorry if this came out vent-ish btw. I just wanted to show how realistic and accurate this episode portrayed Fizz's situation.

    This episode was so real it was insane. I don't got imposter syndrome (but this gave me a fascinating insight into it) BUT _boy howdy_ have I definitely fought off a panic attack for hours before. Not a fun experience, and it wasn't till the episode finished that I realized just how damn real that fucking felt. I was exhausted! Like holy shit. Took a hot minute to feel calm again. Had to watch the ep twice to actually absorb all of it lol
    It's pacing did an amazing job b/c everything _just keeps going._ Everything was happening so fast and so much. But even the slower and calmer parts are anxiety inducing b/c if nothing's happening, then the panic attack can take hold and you can't let it take hold because everything is still happening and if you can't handle it everything's going to be awful and nothing will ever be okay!
    Just, that specific type of mounting panic was not something I expected to see explored so well. Especially considering it wasn't a primary focal point/message of the episode.

    One thing no one seems to be pointing out;
    Am I the only one who noticed Blitz’s twinge of jealousy after he sees Fizz and Ozzie together? Right after he’s like ‘oh so you two ARE an item’ he has this really tweaky expression that makes it looks like he’s about to scream before it just goes away and we move on.
    My theory? Blitz clearly still has lingering feelings towards Fizz, or at the very least, unresolved closure about their whole ‘thing’. Tbh I’m so hyped to see if they explore it! I won’t lie, I actually think Fizz x Blitz is really cute, and in some ways like it more than the actual canon relationships, so I hope we get a fun flashback episode of them! I still think that Fizz and Blitzø's relationship is in the recovery status. Part of it might be the anxiety, but Fizz (adult) pretty much never says a single positive thing to Blitzø the entire episode, not to mention that when they're on that initial red carpet, he asks why Blitzø is even here, like he doesn't want him there. Then when Blitzø says it'll be just like old times and that he'll make sure nobody gives Fizz shit today, he responds with, "You mean besides you?" It's honestly Blitzø that's making it seem like they're casual. The only like actually positive interaction between them is during Two Minutes Notice where Blitzø sniped a fan off of his leg and they smiled at each other for not even a second. It's really not a speedrun, it's still in recovery.

If Asmodeus cannot do that, then it will be Blitz's job to do it. And he was doing quite well if you asked me. It's just that Fizz himself is the one who refused to see it until Asmodeus returned and make a point about it by taking a step further that he loved Fizz for who he is, not what Mammon made of him.
