Man I miss seeing Raito play in big tournaments. Sad that he rarely uses Duck Hunt now but hopefully Banjo takes him to the levels he was at a couple years ago.
Banjo just really lacks the close up boxing option to make him scary because he's good at medium range & ok at close range but needs to be more scary & be a bigger threat when people are in his face. R.O.B seems to do the medium to close range fighter archetype a lot more reliably.
Ken's Sephiroth is great! I know he has to use Bair and Fair a whole bunch in this MU but he did it effectively. Also those counters were used incredibly well and more often than I thought I'd see them. That said, I've never seen a Banjo as good as Ratio's. Good stuff from him as well. I wonder how this would've gone for him if this was best of 5...
I really like Raito's movement with Banjo. Using a mix of his second and third jump and constant egg or grenade pressure is great to see. Also congrats to Ken, love seeing his Seph.
Ratio needs to get better at Banjo’s close range stuff like breagal cancel into other moves and grab more cause banjo unlike duck hunt can actually fight up close, but it requires more tech to do the other stuff. Maybe read sephiroths more aggressive options and outmaneuver cause ken was doing more aggressive options that he could’ve gotten punished for.

It should be utilized as much as possible along landing fair and up air for claiming space. Grab since they both pressure shield. You want your opponent to drop shield for Wonderwings to condition. Watch tweeks banjo when he temporarily played him. Barely any camping yet did well. Banjo is high tier if somebody puts both together Rn the issue banjos are too campy. If you want to camp and zone there's snake who does it better so you have to play banjo I do like his tech tho but man banjos love their projectiles way too much
@@WhisTea-l1c well I think the reason why tweek dropped him was because that only works for so long before people catch on to what the strat is. So a good mix of both would be good, basic cqc and complex technical cqc with bregal might be the actual key.

I love playing against Sephiroth banjo I do not it’s funny cuz I love banjos inclusion as a character I don’t really enjoy Sephiroths as I’m much more of a fan of cartoony joke characters in smash but just the way they play I enjoy playing seph no matter what but banjo is just spammy & that super armor the down throw burying can be obnoxious
He's using the egg bomb too much, you gotta let your opponent forget about it and then surprise them up close. He's also using the feather dash too much, you should only use it for two reasons, when you have no other option to recover, or for a killshot, never use it other wise
Because they're commentating a Japanese tournament, probably through discord and probably at a weird time considering Japan is around 14 hours ahead of the US. The original vod on east geek usually has more exciting commentary even tho you can't understand what they're saying
