I think I'm liking the editor and their sense of humor( aww shitaki mushrooms, I don't know how but I spelled liking wrong and spelled it lickeing, I don't know I would do with-out auto correct, not saying I'm dependant on it but I sure can mess up XD).
Never insinuated that but okkkkaayyyy hahah. I've just personally found riding warmbloods and young ones at that, that they are on such a different level in comparison to off tracks as you are un-training an all ready trained horse to go from their previous job of racing to do something else. No hate just saying, i've trained up youngster wb's too, they're just different horses and it ultimately depends on the horse as well.
I've actually owned and trained OTTB's as well. I wouldn't say they're on a different level at all, just different, period. OTTB's and WB's both need work and miles. I've found OTTB's to be quicker and braver as a trade off of WB's not needing un-training. I love them both.
I personally would, yes thoroughbreds undoubtedly have more heart than a warmblood and are much more willing to learning but I wouldn't at all say quicker. If you take an OTT with an SI issue (commonly found in their right sacroiliac joint) that takes years to re-muscle and teach them how to work the correct muscles and how to hold them self as well as turning off their flight instincts and switching their core on.
My Grandma wants me to start riding her horse 20 year old horse with my Cousin and Aunt. I'm just so scared to ride him though! It is spooky. Any tips?
Scared + scared isn't the best combo. I suggest working with the horse on the ground before you get on, introducing it to potentially scary or new objects/areas so desensitize it.
someone explain a non native person what a rollback is pls xD also the pad at 2:05 ? never seen it before, what's it for? on a sidenote that horse has a real special talent for cross canter lol chapeau
A rollback would be a small, rounded turn, often times jumping the first jump in a line and turning to jump to a second jump in a line if that makes sense haha. And the pad is used to prevent spur rubs for thin-skinned horses but I really had no reason to use it on my horse at the time and haven't used it in years.
Reminds me of my first competition, it was sixty cm all round, had never done it before. My position was shit and I let the horse drive head first into the jumps, he was a great jumper tho so I was lucky. I came first somehow
Humor only equestrians would understand
Eh. Didn’t seem that funny to me.
Horses Xoxo well they're trying to be realistic, and relatable by expressing the problems that only a person that rides horses would understand.

Are indoor show clips at Ledges?
Its not about winning its about the ride and spending time with your horse or pony
Other wise great vid
Everytime I did cantering I fell off How' do I stay on ?
Me every time I get on a horse
My quarter horse gelding at everything
My first race I fell for the first time because my horse shocked from another horse and he can shock easily
This is a great representation of me though 😂😂 haha! 👌🏻

My horse ALWAYS change to cross canter before she jumps the jump? xD
This basically explains the relationship between my mare and I, especially the HOLY SHIT distance and spooks at everything XD

Try using less pull when you jump your pulling on his mouth do a half haul and long enough rein going over your poles❤️
Turns out I'm doing everything right! XD
HAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH IM DYIING YOU EARNED A SUB BOY
He's such a nice horse hahhaa your riding well trained warmbloods and i train off tracks into eventers.
actually got him as a baby and trained him but yeah im just a spoiled rich kid, u right
Never insinuated that but okkkkaayyyy hahah. They are just completely different breeds and both predispose traits and downfalls inherent to that breed.
I can dit though bucks and rears, but can’t sit canter😕
I like your purple shirt.
Perfection.
XD
Poor horses...
yes, poor guy with his massive stall, turnout, and personalized munchies
My Grandma wants me to start riding her horse 20 year old horse with my Cousin and Aunt. I'm just so scared to ride him though! It is spooky. Any tips?
