November 2018, hahaha this was the culmination of me deciding to try eventing! this was our first event, and our first dressage test performed to letters. scored 30.8, lots of fun, and lots more to learn. Learned the test from youtube and trailered with friends which was a hoot! Ended up going clear after for 3rd. Unfortunately not long after Gatsby's EPM got worse and now he's semi retired and...

Realized it’s been ages since I’ve actually uploaded a proper Gatsby video?? Lmao so here are some clips I ripped from my insta (noaleibson) Yes, I literally brought him to college with me! This is my barn there and I’m absolutely OBSESSED. Gatsby has blossomed and we happily compete in the high adults out here!
Thank you for sharing .. I love Red Madder watercolor and make my own so I was looking for a way to “ lake” the red madder to create a pigment I can add binder to create watercolor paint😊

Thanks for the video! It encourages to make madder lake paint. Although it is relatively lightfast, it is said to fade rapidly in mixtures with some other paints, I made swatches of color mixes of it with different paints.

Reminds me of my first competition, it was sixty cm all round, had never done it before. My position was shit and I let the horse drive head first into the jumps, he was a great jumper tho so I was lucky. I came first somehow

IKR it just gets me so aggravated that people don’t have patience with an animal that is not your size, and doesn’t speak the same language as you. But has a huge heart. Then these assholes abuse the fuck out of their horses then the horse gets fucking mad, and becomes aggressive. Then the damn owner blames everything on the horses behavior, and before you know it’s sent to slaughter!!!!!

A couple suggestions: don’t wait last minute for 2-point, don’t lean up the neck as much, and don’t use your seat to get your pony going

@@Summerthepony so true, bahahahah. some people need to understand how we all make mistakes and are still learning... and she is not "using her seat" she is just in a light seat or posting the canter, it's a typically thing in hunters to help your horse/pony extend there stride which is what the judge wants to see..
