This is why I love indie games, they're not afraid to explore into interesting and wacky concepts that triple-a games don't bother with. Not to mention, indie games put a lot more easter eggs and funny stuff to find, definitely trying this soon.

Esher labs was a nice homage to the "the Sword" from Thief - Dark Project game is chokeful of references to really old games, sometimes so subtle you can easily miss most of them
Big shoutout to Newblood and David Zsymanski, they gave me the thumbs up and encouraged me to complete my Dusk mod for Doom (also known as Doosk) They even shared my trailers and videos on their official social media, which is a not so common thing to see from most devs.
Foekoe honestly never disappoints with these great videos. I was at a campout when this released and I spent every second waiting to be able to watch this, great job.

Foekoe! You missed something awesome but the developer, David Szymanski made Iron Lung. It's a dope horror game that genuinely is awesome and succeeds in giving an unsettling vibe. The guy knows his stuff and you should definitely check that title out.
The level of insanity in this game is truly amazing. You can see at least one insane thing happened in every single level. In one level, the map design made you believe you've gone insane in a lab. In another, the map look live what zelda map would look like if it was a horror game, in another map, it looks normal at first, then it got destroyed by a giant tornado. In another map, you fought a dude who talks like Arnold Schwarzenegger. In another, they put you in a plain map with black background, and then ambush you with (I think) 300 enemies. Truly 10/10 experience.

A cool "Modernized Boomer Shooter" I'd like to highly reccomend is "Prodius" It takes classic render styles, and makes Enemies, Pickups, and a few other things 2d "sprites" (shader technique), and uses other modern rendering methods to make a really unique art style. The story is told through text before you start a level, but it's only if you even bother to read it, because this game just throws you in. Sure, there's a story. But only if you bothered reading outside of the game. Gameplay wise, you drop into a level, and try to beat it fighting off Enemies. Super fun and unique title with a Level creator! You know people have remade the first Doom level several times!

Hey there! Just wanted to let everyone know that even though he praised "New Blood" for the game, they are just the publisher, and the developer behind the game and ideas is David Szymanski. Publishers rarely contribute to the actual development, and while they can be praised for publishing it, Szymanski should be the one getting the most of it. Check out some of his other games too, such as Iron Lung, The Moon Silver, and Fingerbones, they are all really good.
The other thing that make Dusk really good is the ost made by Andrew Hulshult. He worked on original doom ost remake, Ancient of God DLC ost for Doom eternal and many other game aswell.
