I am 64 years old from Spain. Last July (in 2023) I broke my left collarbone, three weeks ago I broke the left collarbone by another place. I was thinking in giving up off road .. but you make me think ... cheers mate!
I’ve had something similar happen to me last winter. Driving on a frozen river (ice studs) I broke through. Front tire broke through and I got sent flying over the bars, bike slowly sank to the bottom of the river as the ice below the bike gave way. . Luckily only 4-5’ deep. I dragged the bike across the muddy river bed, in chest deep freezing water up to the shore while breaking up ice as I went along. Long story short managed to get the bike up top of the ice and started on a long walk back to the highway where I was able to be picked up. Bike had to spend the day along the river bank until I could retrieve it next day. Drz lived on drained the fuel and oil and she was ready for more adventures Cheers

Adam, I have been following you from the beginning, and whilst I totally get you don't need it yourself (yet), please consider talking about the Eastbound Moto-Winch because a lot of people like myself (who sadly ain't 25 years old anymore but like go on solo RTW adventures), might like to have the reassurance that when TSHTF, if all else fails, they can always use it to pick up their bike. Maybe they never use it, but psychologically, when riding alone, for less than 1.5 kilos of weight, it is a major reassurance. BTW, when I was 22, I rode around 23,000 kms around OZ, Perth to Perth, via Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Darwin and everywhere else, and I know that the lying out in the Nullarbor looking up at the billions of stars in a perfect clear night sky will always remain the most inspiring memory of my entire time on this planet.
The bigger the bike the harder it is to get it out of the hole. Always best to avoid swampy stuff but sometimes you just have to keep going. Just remember it all makes its way inside your bearings/axle and frame so definitely give her a birthday afterwards to avoid expensive wear and corrosion. Probably a good episode for Adam. Probably the best bike in existence for what he’s doing. Long live the World Raid. 👌🇦🇺💪
Time spent on recce is never wasted. The only thing I can say is... 'They say you are what you eat, and you, Sir, just ate a f*^ing legend.' What a phenomenal effort getting the bike out of that river. You have my utmost respect!
The water crossing / pulling bike out reminded my why I sold my Tenere 700 and got a 450l…I am definitely not skilled enough nor strong enough to pick up and move that heavy ass bike multiple times on a trip lol. Love your videos and watching your positivity throughout …also your riding skills are goals of mine someday lol
T7 air box does have an easily accessible drain nipple on the rear left corner that’s worth a squeeze after those swims. Well played at not getting the full dunk in that pond, there was definitely max grunt lifts dragging it out.
I was sweatin' and pantin' right along with you in that water trap, Adam. This is exactly what trail riding big bikes up north in Ontario is like all the time, except your trees and plants are way cooler. You have to be cardio and strength fit to do this stuff, and at my age (65 in about five minutes), somewhat mindful of dropping dead from a heart attack while hauling a 450lb beast out of a bog. Last Sat, I was standing and crossing a large cafe au lait water hole on my 950SE, couldn't see the bottom, when the front wheel dropped down a foot-deep rut and threw me overboard with a splash. Lost my phone and keys in it. All part of the thrill of it. So happy you didn't water her. I completely submerged my previous SE while running once. Took nine oil changes to get the water out of the crankcase. We are strange and lucky people inhabiting a sacred world.
You are fantastic. You get a 200 kilogram motorcycle out of the water yourself! I ride enduro all year round. But my bike is 100 kg. This is the only cure for my multiple sclerosis. which I have had for 7 years. I'm watching from Ukraine
Nice job navigating through that slick and greasy mess without spilling or getting stuck a few more times! Always impressive skills, knowledge, emotional composure and bike builds! Thanks for sharing your adventures 👍🇨🇦
A long rope and a couple of small pullyes is a very good piece of kit to have. My vstrom 1000 is too heavy in some situations and the extra leverage is a savior when really stuck!
I find it amazing how you cross with a big bike between forests. I enjoy watching your adventures and dream of living something similar. Thanks for these movies.

Hey Adam, you've really inspired me to get out there in the world and push my limits and comfort zone. Next year I'm taking 5 weeks off and heading in whichever direction I feel like starting from home in Norway. I've learnt a lot from your channel, but still have a lot more to learn. As it stands I've not yet decided on which adventure bike to get, but I imagine whatever bike I choose it'll serve me well on my journey from pavement to gravel, dirt, water and whatever else may find me out there. Here's to hoping theres plenty more videos on basic maintenance both while close to civilization, as well as in-the-field problems and possible solutions - you make the learning experience not only highly interesting but also very educational, and most important of all, practical. It might not capture any great scenery, doesn't get you flashy slow-motion shots - but to me it's some of the more valuable stuff you put out there in preparation for my own humble beginnings as an adventure rider. Best regards, some bloke in Norway
Not often have I experienced the feeling when watching someone perform a recovery but I can say that I certainly felt the exhaustion when you were working to get the WRaid out of that flooded track. Well done! Cheers
Your videos are just so damn inspiring, I'm selling everything, buying a T7, and traveling the world... OK maybe not, my back just can't handle that anymore, but I love your videos, the no BS, no half assing anything.
"gotta get out of this shit fight" haha, geez the rain's are really there mate. I couldn't stop squirming in my chair from wanting to help you get out of that big hole. Top stuff Adam
My god, you’re Superman! I had the same thing happen here in Florida and that mud really sucked the bike down. I wasn’t able to get the bike out but luckily a trusty 4x4 was there to save the day.
I ride the normal T7, this world raid is much heavier to lift and move around like you did it. Amazing the mental strenght you have. It's all in the head.
Hello Adam, thank you for taking me with you on your journey. I've been watching your videos and tutorials for a long time. I wish I lived in Australia more often than here in constricted Germany. Have a good time and take care of yourself . Best regards Franky
I can’t believe all the things I have to re-familiarize myself with after selling my last bike twelve years ago. But, thanks to the people I’ve been watching the last couple years, I’m on an Africa Twin. I still have a ways to go with gear and stuff but, so far so good!
Man, I mean ……. Maaaaaaan! How could one ever think off camera angles while pulling out a 200 + Kg bike out off a 20:09 „lake“ … H I M S E L F !!! The „getting the war horse out of a ditch thing“ was something. But this one was the real deal! Riemann, the GOAT.
I was exhausted just watching you muster that beast around in the bog. Attitude is 90% of making it out in one piece. And you always include expert advice on maintenance after the ride. Bring on the Cross Oz adventure!
You must be as strong as an ox. I recently got my Himalayan stuck in the Burdekin River crossing and it took 3 hours getting it out. I'm only 5'6"and I broke my back. Fair play to you.
Thanks for showing all the challenges on your rides, it goes to show sometimes things don’t work the way we hope or plan but it’s part of the adventure. It’s in those times that we need to embrace the suck and overcome. The T7 is still a big machine, I’m just glad you’re not on a big GS or some other bloated “adventure” bike running the same route.
My mentor always gave me this advice when struggling being stuck or problem solving. " You're stuck on a field and you gotta get home tonight to your family". That was a time where his dad had to swap tractor engines out in the fields and do it within a day. Fantastic BMW mechanics, wether cars or bikes. Always learning, never stopping
Great timing for a new video 👍🏻. Two other friends, and myself, are getting ready to leave on a week motorcycle cross country adventure! Can’t freakin wait! Thank you for all your videos, love your adventures Adam.
Fair play. It shows what determination & the right bike can do. Certain "adventure bikes" that I won't name would have been impossible to get out of the mud by yourself. Keep the vids coming.
The riding, the technique, advises, etc are top. But the audio, music and visual edition to bring your experiences to us are really fantastic!!! Very good job and very good riding. Thanks a lot!
Great Video! I don’t know if you knew it but the rear piece saddle screws and bushings can be inverted and screwed to the frame so that you don’t need the allen key anymore. That ease a bit the life when accessing air filter or battery.
Great work Adam, watching you pull that beast out took me straight back to 1982 when I did similar into a muddy ravine on a sand bank. I bent one handlebar 90' pulling my DT 125 out. Surprizing where the power comes from when you know the tide is also coming back in to take my new bike away. I was watching your bars flexing and thinking 'Don't snap'
Man I can't agree with you more about learning how to deal with struggling and suffering. I've been recovering from a broken back and even though it hurts everyday I refuse to give up what I love doing.
Mate, I wanted to jump into the screen to help you get out. What a wet mess. Rescuing that heavy bike all by yourself - respect! In the shrubs Darkshorse makes a good bulldozer, though. Outstanding vid, Günter/Nürnberg
Laughing at some of this, it seems iv always got into trouble when I've been alone, I start out saying I'll behave and then 😮, ii think I start trying to test myself and sometimes bad stuff happens, I saved watching this for my Saturday no work coffee in the morning entertainment, thanks I enjoyed it
Fantastic content. Your struggle in the water was intense, and real. WOW! The ride looked amazing. I see you love the machine, the bike, that it is built for its purpose. You take care of it; it will take care of you. I relate with my dual sport bike here in the US. All the best. Cheers.
Made my back ache just watching this! Exactly why I sold the Tiger and bought a lighter 450, needed to know if I get stuck my old bones can drag it out!😂 Great video, great adventure!
What a mission! Was on a track yesterday near Valley of the Giants and fell off due to a wee bit of water on it, turning it to mud. My first ever fall while moving forward lol. only 20kph mind you. Learned a big lesson - no more off track til I get these stock tyres changed. They're total crap! Thinking some Mitas E07s. Anyway, I felt for you getting the bike out of that water mate! Oh and my partner says to tell you she loves watching you - and she doesn't even ride! :D
Oh man, Adam... this was tough. Wasn't the material, wasn't the rider. Just very tough for soloriding on a big bike adventure. Decisions, decisions. Awesome that You film the work. I have had my share of this on solo rides. With both lighter bikes and heavier, I have unfortunately not filmed those parts, probably because I felt embarrassed to myself 😂. The adrenalin makes you breathe heavy even without the workout beginning. Have been laying beside the bike and sipping all of my water in the bladder while wrestling a bike out of mud. Each time I have promised myself to not do those explores solo... yet it happens because of my curiosity ...on what's around the corner or if it's possible to get thru... Happy Trails Adam! 💪🤠🔥
Congratulations Mr. Riemann you officially gave me anxiety while watching this. Great video but wow, had my adrenaline pumping because I have been in some situations like that as well. Alone and stuck. Not fun but puts a smile on your face once you're out of it.

Great video, with conditions that wet I don’t think I’d go alone. Love the T7 👍
GS1250
One thing's for sure..... You are calm and strong!!!
I'm getting a sore back just watching, one hell of a commute to work!!!
I went from Bridgetown to Black Point a while back on a KTM 250 TPI - the road was wet but not that waterlogged! Kudos to you for that effort!
Man you are strong! I was suffering with you in the road/river! Great Adam!
TheDarkHorse Perfect Name. No limp mode life is a necessity in adventure. Great production as per
Yews you Al but real bike deserved compliments 💯
Easy to get into trouble and very difficult to get out of trouble, but what’s an epic adventure??? Unstoppable!
Dude... your struggle in that swamp at 13:30 has me a subscriber forever. Ride safe man! 🤝
HAha, thanks mate.
Man I can't agree with you more about learning how to deal with struggling and suffering. I've been recovering from a broken back and even though it hurts everyday I refuse to give up what I love doing.
What up Mr Hammer down!
You’re a tough one and I enjoy following you on TH-cam as well.
Take care.
💪🏽
🏍️💨
@@lukefish7562 thanks. I really appreciate it 👊
Loved the drone shot of the roo running behind you then stopping and looking back at you watching your awesomeness 😮👍
Cheers.
You said it, take care of it and it will take care of you ...
The most challenging longest river crossing in history, the track you want to forget, and never say die 🙏🔥
You are amazing
T7 is amazing
you channel is amazing
your drone is amazing.
I am blown away by you content.
🖤
Wow. A new bar set for “difficult day on the bike” 😅 Super impressive stuff
Christ mate, I was wincing when you were dragging it out of the bog….fairplay to you mate, took a lot of guile and spirt that!
Made my back ache just watching this! Exactly why I sold the Tiger and bought a lighter 450, needed to know if I get stuck my old bones can drag it out!😂 Great video, great adventure!
Thanks for showing the water struggle. That was me a couple of weeks back man handling my 890 R but thankfully not in deep water. Keeping it real 🤙🏼
Just got stuck 3/4 up my wheels this past weekend….
Ready to learn!
Thank you
What a mission! :D
Quite impressive the way you were able to lug the bike out of the water.
Truly inspiring, as always. Showing us how’s done and suk it up to it, so that you can overcome yourself. Thank you Adam.
T7 is so Bulletproof, spit out that water like nothing. Love mine since 2019. Greetings from Germany.
What a ride!! It was all perfect even not getting to the planned destination...
Autralia is an amazing playground for offroaders... amazing
Mate I was getting Warhorse binned in the ditch vibes watching you wrestle the behemoth out of that water & mud…great video thanks 🤘
Congratulations Mr. Riemann you officially gave me anxiety while watching this. Great video but wow, had my adrenaline pumping because I have been in some situations like that as well. Alone and stuck. Not fun but puts a smile on your face once you're out of it.
Glad to see even Superman gets stuck, gives us mere mortals a boost (even if we do it more often). Another great ride, and video. Respect
Adam Riemann filled his cooking pot with Yamaha oil, for fish and chips, I reckon.
love your videos mate always great stuff.
take care
