Itunes once removed songs off of a soundtrack I purchased years after I purchased it. I was told they don't know why but I should of backed up my music on a removable drive or something. Can you believe that shit?
I was an avid member of Columbia House .It was cool to be able to get what amounted to a CD catalog in the mail a couple of times a month and shop for your music by writing down the CD's order numbers on the card then mail it with the payment.I think I got about 20-30 CDs from them
Born in 93 and I can remember back to the 90's commercials and holy shit this is like a blast from the past 🤯 miss the good ole days of the early to mid 2000's as well.
Wow Plymouth Voyager. Those were popular back in the day. My parents had one when I was really little, but it was one of the white models that had wood paneling on the side.
Good times going to Blockbuster, ordering CDs online (the future of music... that took forever to come), the Sege Saturn had some great games, e-mail / photoshop AT&T (I like the song being played), I still play Shadows of the Empire every now and then. "If he pays her money, she won't kill him" (what???), It won't print ("That's the light" girl was kinda hot), I caught Breakdown on TV once, I'm afraid video conferencing did happen, even during the 90s we were sick of the internet ("No kids, no chat rooms, no smile faces"), I hated those emptiness commercials, I used to love going to Radio Shack, good 'old Jack Palance and I've been wearing black Wrangler jeans since the late 90s... it wasn't all perfect, but I miss the 90s.
People got used to immediate gratification and convenience. Our weaknesses are dooming us. When you buy a movie or song, videogame digitally you don't own anything.
i was 3 when these aired, I love thinking if I remember seeing any i remember and love to see the growth of Humans...."Nostalgia Rush" is better than dugs, sex & money!
if you look back. you begin to realize how breaindead everything was....there was still an evil system lurking, but at least now everyone can see it staring them in the face. imagine people pre 9.11 realizing that their freeedom was slowly being eroded...now look. millions in the streets for our freedom from the lies and opression of money and ego.
@@SynrgiiiIt was better than now. I only remember fondly because I had no care in the world but tv, video games and playing outside with friends. Even light of everything you've mentioned. There's always light in darkness.
Those times were seriously some great times. We didnt knew it would be old times pretty soon. The bad times def started in the 21st century. I want so badly to go back in time. 1997 is the best year for that.
The 90s hands down was the best, with a little spill over from the Fabulous 80s, it was good times
Tell me about it. And i miss dearly being in this 2021 disaster full of viruses and division.

Crazy to think ordering CDs online and waiting for them in the mail, was the “future” of music, oh how time how flown.
now we dont get to own the physical music...the futre sucks. everything is rented and nothing owned....
@@Synrgiii I still prefer to buy CDs.

@@michaelblaine6494 Phil did not have no idea his wife would be the one to kill him.
Wow opening with collect calls and a thumbnail of a CD tower. Peak 90s.

Damn that sprite commercial was good. I forgot about that. " I studied Hamlet"
I’ve been saying “what’s my motivation?” for years and I forgot that’s where I got it from
"I pray we never ever get video conferencing."
Miss commercials like this
That Sliders commercial can definitely go lol 😂
So much personality
All the internet commercials make me sad because now I know the negative impact it was destined to have on society. And yet... here I am on TH-cam
I was thinking the same thing, considering the commercial looks innocent but knowing that in reality he be asking for nudes and the whole world knows
Truly the greatest of double edged swords

4:21 I watched Sliders and Millenium with my mom. Sadly no one remembers or streams Millenium these days.
I can't actually remember my childhood, but I can remember that Sprite ad.
😬
1997 McDonald’s was still “wow what consistency this is great! Why don’t other fast food places stay consistent” back then
The Colombia house commercial makes me laugh so hard.
The CDs that we would buy at best buy and Walmart to listen to any music we like to hear.
5:09 wow I actually remember that commercial 😅
