Love that gameboy commercial. "You don't stop playing because you get old." You just switch to Tetris ha ha. This is real. The year Tetris came out on the NES I got it for Christmas and I could barely play any game for like a week because of all the adults in my visiting extended family hogging it to play that thing.
At 4 minutes, I used to work at Burger King in 1990 and my franchise had so many of these Simpson dolls leftover from all of the stores they eventually had to sell them at a flea market because nobody would buy them and they are probably worth a lot of money now.
Demolition Man got it right. I mean look at us! We are sitting here watching old commercials for entertainment. And Ideocracy is quickly being proven accurate as well.
I had to get a Bart Burger King toy because the nostalgia was insane. As a kid I had a dirty Homer (because of the white shirt and I was a toddler) the nostalgia was insane when I got Bart from eBay only like $15 idk how people can hold on to shit so long that only gets them $15😂
That episode of Married with Children in the promo was actually good. Does anyone know if that waitress in the Pizza Hut commercial wend onto anything bigger?
@@kz1000ps Dude I was born in 80' and I loved watching all these shows. I remember them quite fondly. Not to mention TGIF which aired on ABC on Fridays. These shows were killer. So were you really born in 83'?

So Burger King promotes plushies of The Simpsons (at the time, the show was still fairly new), while its competitor, McDonald's promotes die-cast toys from TaleSpin, which I felt was more of a family-friendly version of The Simpsons in some aspects. (I'm not the only one who thinks so; when SonicToast did a video of his Funko Disney Afternoon action figure collection, he compared Baloo to Homer, Kit Cloudkicker to Bart, and King Louie to Moe.)

Take me back...i miss these days. Even commercials were good.
I remember all these commercials so vividly and I was only 6 at the time! Sooo nostalgic!

So true So Ironic!
How were you skipping commercials in 1990?

Had those tale spin toys from McDonald's when I was a kid. Happy meals every now and then had a few legit good toys in those days....
1990 kicked ass lol

I've got my earbuds in while watching this, and that tape hiss is so soothing
i remember the pepsi video was also in the home alone vhs. I thought these kids were the coolest...
I remember that to I thought I was the only one who remembered that coke/Pepsi commercial in home alone thats so kool bro
That's exactly what I remember too
You would never find them even in the same commercial nowadays, I remember this and seeing how marketing is now, 😬
Wild to see how they actually added a Coca Cola can, these days that would be a lawsuit!
That gameboy commercial made me remember to never grow up, Im a toys r us kid.
That won't hold up in court
Who knew Nintendo called gamers as early as 1990?
@@edwardgaines6561 we did when we lived through it 🤣 they were even gender neutral when og Nintendo came out 🤣 they appealed to everyone…

God bless VHS tapes
"And the propellers actually move". yay
Everything was so wholesome including the commercials in the 90s 😩😩.
Rest in Peace Shannon Doherty. Rest in Peace Richard Simmons. Both of you were a big part of the magic of the 90's. Thank you.

Wow I totally forgot about PBMax bar, those were 😊 good
That sure looks like Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) at 13:22 in the Honey Bunches of Oats Commercial. That’s Shane McDermott at 21:10 👀
The double mint ads were awesome
13:03 that’s Michael Jai White (al Simmons/Spawn😈)
I’m glad someone confirmed this ‘cause I was thinking it.
@@LeMErin21 😊 thanks! Also he had a little cameo in TMNT 2 , when keno was trying to infiltrate The FOOT 🦶 (think it was the Brooklyn Bridge)

Do you have Channel 43 WUAB, Lorain & Cleveland? Especially with Liz and Channel 43 kids?

1990 just an extension of the 80s.
It all went to crap starting in 2001
16:03 This straight up looks and sounds like a scene from Beverly Hills, 90210 😂
Holy shit is that Dan Snider in Head of the Class???
Wow great quality, better than the rest I have seen..
These are commercials from a long time ago before I was born.
TCBY brownie sunday! I grew up in columbus and i remember getting that as a kid! GO BROWNS!

I was 8 in 1990.
Ponderosa
damn pizza hut had a pretty good deal bring that one back lol
4 DOLLAR PIZZA DEAL. My god, I was born in the wrong generation.

Hey it’s terry funkhouser where’s Larry David.
I forgot fox was on channel 19.
*sigh* they just don't make commercials like they used to. LOL at the Pepsi commercial...
Is that Weird Al @ 12:55?
Kinda looks like him, but I think his hair is darker and curlier.
Metro convertible lmao
I only renember the the simpsons 1990 burger king promo
refreshing not seeing commercials that can save me a bucks or two on car insurance lamo
I had a game boy
I don't remember BABBES??🤔 it looks like it was funny
You mean "Babes"? But it was funny and did very well for 5 years on Fox Late Night, long before "Mad TV."

4 dollar pizza deal 🤠🍕 🍕 🍕 🍕
What was up with all these $4 pizza deals?
