Really fun tip: The Archon Mods also proc from Zephyr’s Tornado. This allows you to pick weapons modded to exploit the mod effects too. Only mod I haven’t tested is Archon Intensify, which might take specific weapons to use with Tornado.
Yes, the description is slightly misleading, but even worse is that it doesn't actually double the heat procs, it just adds +1. The difference is the cases where you would proc two heat procs with something like Chromatic Blade, which can easily go above 100% status chance. If you proc two heat status effects in a single strike, Archon Vitality will give you 3 total procs.
This is confirmed using Baruuk, I proc'd 2 heat and Archon Vitality added 1 instead of doubling. I'm certain if we bring it up to DE, they'll be sure to nerf compatibility for Exalted skills.
@@KoJeTsCorner Archon Vitality does actually work on the waves, but only if the heat is innate with Chromatic Blade. Just modding on heat on Exalted Blade doesn't proc Archon Vitality (from my testing, it could've been changed by now).
@@thisguy3500 I don't think so. DE does actually listen to the community, and it feels like Archon Vitality is intended to work on exalted weapons. I'm sure that if we bring it up, they'll fix it instead of nerfing it.

The combination of Radiation, Corrosive and Toxin counters basically everything; from every Grineer to heavily armoured Corpus, to heavily shielded Corpus. I only haven't tested it on Deimos Infested yet...but you know how bullet spongy those get.
@@Alpha.Phenix honestly i tested it out at 0 forma and it works great with the corrosive build. Honestly my build I've set up can go from the toxin corrosive to fire just by swapping out umbral vitality. Swapped that out for archon vitality with heat. And then if i want i can swap back to umbral due to other mods
I like to use archon continuity and build radiation + toxin and get bonus corrosive status, plus you have more statuses for galvanized mods for example
Losing strength on excal umbra hurts, so i've been running archon continuity with a toxin chromatic blade instead. It feels a bit weird not having viral/heat, but rad/tox/corr is kinda fun, and if you use a primer, you don't lose much.
That's the thing...I feel like, since launch, most people are looking at the new mods and thinking "well, they're too situational, only a few frames benefit." But...with the Helminth system...most, if not all, Warframes can make use of these. The biggest thing I want to test out is putting, like, Vauban's Tesla Nervos or Gyre's Coil Horizon on Frames that could use both more Ability Range and Energy, seems like a good way to take care of both in one mod slot. Feels like an interesting prospect.
I put Gyre’s ability on Volt and I LOVE it tbh. Like an electric version of Larva. I’m currently using Chromas electric Ward on him and it almost constantly procs this mod. I’m building a vauban to test his move next but I like Ward the most so far
Also, that mod procs off of Wisps shock mote, and I think you can use this mod on a frame with no electric abilities as long as you have that mote on and the mod equipped to the Warframe.
@@DrededS So you're saying, if the Wisp that casts Reservoir has Archon Stretch equipped on them, other players who pick up her Shock Mote will proc her energy regen? Also...wasn't even thinking about Chroma Electric Ward, that's very smart.

Baruuk Main here, I come with data. I've tested Shock, Toxin, and Heat on a Reactive Storm build with Archon Stretch, Vitality, and Continuity. Stretch was rather underwhelming compared to the others and although the constant energy regen was nice, as it procced on every shock proc applied, I don't have any issues with energy economy on my Baruuk. Heat is currently my favorite. Applying two heat procs on every hit is absolutely insane against all factions as it CCs, strips armor, and applies a DoT. Heat is probably all around the best choice. Toxin will require more testing on my part as it is either equivalent to heat or better. The addition of a corrosive proc on all the toxin procs you create absolutely obliterates grineer and would do the same to both corpus and infested, but the corrosive wouldn't have much effect against unarmored targets. I don't own Archon Flow yet, but given that the ability has a cooldown and Cold isn't the best of the base four status effects, I don't believe it'll chance much here.
I see a lot of people who seem to not try archon intensify and I can understand why but I hope if you read this my tip can help. It's best used for support frames like trinity, wisp, Oberon and any frame really that can heal health. In order for it to proc you have to heal LOST damage and not just have the capacity to have healed with the ability. So the best way to get it to proc more often than not is to run the aura combat discipline and kill a enemy before casting the heal to proc the effect. Is it truly good? Debatable, but if you are running a support frame that can heal anyway there is no harm in that suprise extra strength to a casted ability.
Sevagoths shadow has a build that focuses on survivability since his claws have a good combo. i would use this there to push out more damage on tanky targets
Alternatively just leave archon vitality rank 1. You still get the full bonus from the passive without the health. That’s what I did for my protea build since I use her shield gate to stay alive anyways
If the diwata has cold on it titania can proc archon flow with the razorflies which is a nice bonus passive energy. and wisp can activate archon stretch on any frame that has it if they have the shock mote on them. and every frame being able to use the archon mods with kitguns is nice if probably unintentional.
Thank you for the overview, yeah I guess vitalitity is one of the more diverse mods however, I would also like to see how the toxin archon mod, can't remember which one it was, influences saryn ^^

Speaking of Archon Mods, does Archon Contunity proc off of Nourish Strike's buff? If so, you could possibly use it to stack Rad, Toxin and Corrosive together onto a single weapon for dealing with heavily armored enemies if for some reason you don't have access to or can't use Armor Strip. Very niche and probably not all that useful though
I don’t think so because Nourish Strike and other abilities alike (Volt’s Shock Trooper, Frost’s Freeze Force, etc) adds elemental damage to weapons, not onto abilities like Lavos’ passive. The only exceptions are exalted weapons and abilities that scale from weapon mods like Khora’s whiplash, Atlas’ landslide and Gara’s Shattered Lash.
no all ability weapon buffs add to the weapon so it doesnt work also archon contiuity is prob one of the worse ones cus 1 exalteds and psuedo exalteds are better built for corrisve the toxin and that mod since its only a corrosive proc
putting an effect with this bad of a description (when they already had the fitting description to copy paste from archon continuity) on another version of vitality is just an insult. but then again we also got archon flow so all the combinations of elements, mods and trigger conditions were just randomly chosen with a dart board
Here is another synergy i found. Cascadia flare does proc off of this and does boost all damage. So while primary and secondary dexterity do not stack this is a way to get more damage from these builds as well.
