I am an INTP and I agree with all of them, and I fall into all these traits, some more than others but yeah 1 trait: As I tend to neglect my own emotions and privilege reason and thinking, I tend to do the same with other people's emotions too, It's not that I don't care about people or their emotions, I just don't see the point of it, I do however try to give more emotional responses to fit more in “society”. 2nd: Again I tend to ignore a lot and neglect my emotions, feelings etc, until they accumulate and explode, personally I tend to isolate or just saying to my close friends that I'm about to go boom in order to not hurt them, bc again yeah I care about people, I just don't show it like people are used to. 3rd: With this one I don't 100% agree (for me), like yeah when something is not interesting for me, I don't see the point on pretending just for others bc they are interested in or smth, I might judge them sometimes for certain interests, but I am open to hear why they like it etc, which most of the time make me to stop judging them acknowledge their interests positively 4th: For sure 100% I struggle with procrastination, there is so much going on in my mind I just get stuck in it and do nothing 5th: Yes and no, I don't lack empathy I just don't like to engage emotionally with people, yeah I do feel the need of love etc, but the idea of it just does not sell right, for me emotions should be kept private 6th: 100% agree with this one, I don't ever try new things, and I tend to get stuck in loops, order the exact same meal at a restaurant/fast-food etc, going out with friends to the same place, same bar etc, clothes is the same, same color, same over-sized comfortable type, even in relationships I treat everyone the same not matter what level (family, friends) and I expect to be treated equally the same. 7th: sometimes, but again I do like to hear other perspectives and understand them, does not mean I will agree or bend to their idea but yeah, it just gives me more info and data about certain topics that I can use to analyse or understand a certain subject better English is not my first language, so I am sorry if certain things don't seem clear, and thank you if you read all this! I suffer every single day with these. I wish I could change my personality, but on the other hand, I like how rational I am. My sister is an ISFJ, and our personalities clash.
Exactly. Even though these sometimes frustrate even myself, I can't imagine living without prioritizing logic over emotions. (The traits in second half of this video are easier to control, though. At least for me.)
You should've included how easily we get grossed out by people in general. I have lots of empathy for animals and humanity as a whole, but little for individuals.

love is determined in people. originates from evolution to facilitate the process of reproduction. Love is logical if you look at it that way because biochemical reactions are the foundation for it. In conclusion: yes it has a purpose
Emotional outbursts I only had maybe 2, or 3 in my lifetime, and really hate them as an INTP, because they are so emotionally draining and suck the life out of me
I get the emotional outbursts when i try reasoning with my mom and burst in to tears and she now tells everyone im a “ sensitive person “ I feel guilty cause i selectively feel vulnerable around her and tend to snap easily with her Shes not a bad person shes just allot more strong and harsh with her opinions, plus she is kinda a gossip-y extrovert
Other people saying they have empathy. I do not--I am the archetypal robot. I have made more people cry with my cold words and sterile reduction of their feelings into facts and contingencies than I can count, so I have an understanding, but not an emotion. I can sense energy, but not emotion. I can tell something is affecting the person's aura, and it might be encroaching on my own shell / shield, but I don't know what it is.
unfortunately, yes, unfortunately that's true. I don't know on how many your points rather calling them facts, will apply to..Especially the point with the lab rat. There are always volunteers who support you in your research, right? :)

Misunderstood and easily can see why .. HSP.. trauma.. cptsd... BPD... Dismissive avoidant...identity problems all play a role in majority of INTP personality types... Age environmental factors, unresolved trauma, guidance ECT.. "Dark side" is like necrotic tendencies.. looping... This is very complex when you dive into a hyper sensitive mind that is different from the majority... When something isn't or can't be understood it "feels" better to throw an opinion of such to shift reality in one's own mind to make it more palatable... This is the exact opposite of bridging the Gap between TI and Fe...It's easier to feel this is true of an INTP than logically understanding that who someone is cannot be seen from interactions with Fe dominant individuals who have created an alternate reality that we have to stay quiet about because until someone is ready to move with the heart and mind it will cause conflict if we speak of anything that triggers something the heart hasn't let the mind accept...Don't mistake the lack empathy with the fact we will not pretend with you.. I feel extremely deep... I'm extremely empathetic... And my mind understands everything... My disassociation does not consist of anything that's not 100% truthful.. lack of empathy is not having the ability to understand some of us over analytical B holes are people that have fought the fight with our hearts alone as children... Some people lack mental capacity or strength to do such as adults...It's not hard to understand why we react to peter pan adults with anger because they can directly affect our lives.. Democrats are Fe dominant republican Ti dominant both lack the ability to find harmony in between the dominant and inferior function stack..

They can also have deep empathy for soneone and still call them stupid straight to their loved ones faces. It just comes across as lack of empathy because they are truthsayers first and foremost. An INTP can be extremely dissatisfied with their circumstances and be very unhealthy and unhappy and still treat other people with dignity and care.
@@LadySelene100 Thank you for your insight, we really appreciate your opinion! Check if you agree with the biggest struggles of INTPs ---> th-cam.com/video/_T69yF50q_I/w-d-xo.html
Sounds like HSP BPD possibly cptsd dismissive avoidant and anxious attachment style
I am an INTP and I agree with all of them, and I fall into all these traits, some more than others but yeah
1 trait: As I tend to neglect my own emotions and privilege reason and thinking, I tend to do the same with other people's emotions too, It's not that I don't care about people or their emotions, I just don't see the point of it, I do however try to give more emotional responses to fit more in “society”.
3rd: With this one I don't 100% agree (for me), like yeah when something is not interesting for me, I don't see the point on pretending just for others bc they are interested in or smth, I might judge them sometimes for certain interests, but I am open to hear why they like it etc, which most of the time make me to stop judging them acknowledge their interests positively
4th: For sure 100% I struggle with procrastination, there is so much going on in my mind I just get stuck in it and do nothing
5th: Yes and no, I don't lack empathy I just don't like to engage emotionally with people, yeah I do feel the need of love etc, but the idea of it just does not sell right, for me emotions should be kept private
6th: 100% agree with this one, I don't ever try new things, and I tend to get stuck in loops, order the exact same meal at a restaurant/fast-food etc, going out with friends to the same place, same bar etc, clothes is the same, same color, same over-sized comfortable type, even in relationships I treat everyone the same not matter what level (family, friends) and I expect to be treated equally the same.
7th: sometimes, but again I do like to hear other perspectives and understand them, does not mean I will agree or bend to their idea but yeah, it just gives me more info and data about certain topics that I can use to analyse or understand a certain subject better
English is not my first language, so I am sorry if certain things don't seem clear, and thank you if you read all this! I hope you can identify yourself in my words as INTP or understand us a bit if you are not a INTP!
Thank you for bringing up your perspective!
This is all very accurate. Disturbing? Just sounds like a typical Tuesday to me ;)
You should've included how easily we get grossed out by people in general. I have lots of empathy for animals and humanity as a whole, but little for individuals.
7:05 I've been forced into this.
How?
It's automatic can't be intentional
This was me in full unawareness, when i go dark i see the persons pattern that i charished most leaving me with toxicity that's hard to wash away. We are like computers, if we are switched on we can even solve the greatest enigma out there without even trying. The best of the best spy agents that you can meet with your eyes is the INTP because they analyze everything without even using pen and paper.
My house is populated solely with INTJs and INTPs. I'm starting to see why we want to kill each other 90% of the time.
Oh dear! My father was INTJ, I’m INTP. I think INTPs often find INTJs to be INT-Jerks while INTJs often find INTPs to be INT-(nincom)Poops.
So accurate and well-made video! way to go
Thank you!
Honestly, that’s the reason why I am a truck driver cause I love being alone. But I get lost in my thoughts and it sucks because I cannot keep a relationship or anything because it exact same thing he’s talking about in the video majority of what he saying is true.
Thank you for this insight!
It's always good to know your weaknesses
I think that some people have stronger temperament percentages than others for instance you can find an INTP more extroverted than other INTPs making them more easy going than their fellow INTP but still introverted
What's the point of love? Does it serve a logical purpose? No :/
Why do you think so?
@@PsychologyRefresh I shouldn't have said it like that
@@julo_ghost What is your take on love then?
@@PsychologyRefresh Stressful and not necessarily important
love is determined in people. originates from evolution to facilitate the process of reproduction. Love is logical if you look at it that way because biochemical reactions are the foundation for it.
In conclusion: yes it has a purpose
Emotional outbursts I only had maybe 2, or 3 in my lifetime, and really hate them as an INTP, because they are so emotionally draining and suck the life out of me
I get the emotional outbursts when i try reasoning with my mom and burst in to tears and she now tells everyone im a “ sensitive person “
I feel guilty cause i selectively feel vulnerable around her and tend to snap easily with her
Shes not a bad person shes just allot more strong and harsh with her opinions, plus she is kinda a gossip-y extrovert
samee i try not to be but I always end up frustrated in our discussions.
Bruh, I literally have all of these traits. But I don't really care because I am insolent, cold and self-centered :)

I've stagnated in several aspects of my life and the procrastination and irresistibility of new subjects to explore (distractions) don't really help.
If you are an INTP, we have some tips for you ---> th-cam.com/video/s0JKp3TRhmk/w-d-xo.html
I am aromantic. - INTP
Yep. I have all these and very regular 🤣🤣🤣 funny. I am my own worst nightmare 🤣🤣🤣
potential for me to turn into a serial killer :)
These life tips can help you ---> th-cam.com/video/s0JKp3TRhmk/w-d-xo.html
unfortunately, yes, unfortunately that's true. I don't know on how many your points rather calling them facts, will apply to..Especially the point with the lab rat. There are always volunteers who support you in your research, right? :)
Well said!
as an intp here is what i don't get why should i do my homework now if i can do something else now and get the homework done later when i feel like it
why should i prioritize others feelings over my thoughts and stuff like that
Why is this considered disturbing?
You don't think so?
I was an enfp but guess I changed into this 🤷
Alrught!
Thank you for bringing up your perspective!
Yes, you got me. I have all of these traits in me and some present more strongly than others. BUT, my solution has been therapy. Just go to therapy. You probably also have ADHD, so you may also need meds and tools for that. Don’t stay in the trap.
Thank you for your advice.
I'm sorry but this narration style is obnoxious.

Unwanted?... what if you WANT it though?... 😏
What do you mean?
@@PsychologyRefresh like along the lines of "embracing the dark side", sounds familiar I think...
Ne is not tertiary its auxhilliary. I cant believe none of the intps here caught that for 2 years 😗
Why do I have listen to something with mic peaks when volume is at 50 percent. Edit better
How to get out of stagnancy?
Focus on something and start with little steps.
Bruh, I have all of that stuff 😁
;)
totally me
half of it is utter bs, its just some who r like this
Can you elaborate a little?
@@PsychologyRefresh in connection with this, for example, an "extrovert" analyzing an "introvert" or vice versa might have some inaccuracies, not so sure about this but it's just an idea that I had... what do you think?... 🤔😳

I would rather have an impeccable work ethic and everage academical intelligence. I think I would be happier and more accomplished like that ( I'm not unhappy at all, I just need a lot of rest for some reason and sometimes I can work hard and consistent for weeks...until I burn out). I just don't like the inconsistency in my work
