    What was the weight? Gvwr seems low for 2 vehicles

    How "heavy duty" is the suspension? Is it too soft of a ride with the "gentle ride" suspension that U Haul specs? I'm thinking about buying a couple trucks and installing 10 foot flatbeds or dump boxes for my construction business. In the winter I would also use as plow trucks and salt spreaders.

      Hey there, I paid 2600 for the bed and it’s 26ft. I found it on FB market place. I’m working on another video with it, more in depth and I actually take it up and have it weighed.

    Hey which shop did you hire for the ramp fabrication? Will you be adding a tool box later?

    • @moparofforsyth1
      @moparofforsyth1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man, We used A1 Fabrications out of Dawsonville Georgia. We do plan on adding some toolboxes hanging off on the driver side of the bed to store tools and roadside emergency kits.

    How was it tagging and insuring it? Did either GA or the insurance company give you a hard time? Thanks!

    • @moparofforsyth1
      @moparofforsyth1  ปีที่แล้ว

      At first yes, difficult to find insurance that was affordable. But after doing research and getting multiple quotes we found a policy that is budget friendly. You have to get a commercial vehicle tag which is no big deal it’s just like getting a tag for any other car but you do have to pay some type of road tax due to the weight of the truck. I have to pay the same road tax with my RV just because of the weight.

      what insurance provider did you go with? geico and farmers are like 800 every 6 months under commercial... even if I tell them it is for personal
