It was today watching this video that I realized why I connected with this man so much back in 2021 and became inspired to try cooking. He was and has remained authentic AF. This stuff never feels fake to me. He does what he wants, his way. That’s my reflection now. And even though the ingredients look a lot different now, those skills became essential in a -260lb weight loss journey that’s still going. I used to think it was just because he cussed.
I thought I was already subscribed because I've been watching your cookingness shows for at least 3 years, but, Sam, you are the cooking guy I reach for. I have made your braised short ribs with cauliflowers mash for all these three years since I saw you make it, and it's ALWAYS a hit. You are my go-to because ... no nonsense, all excellent instruction, humor, fun, and I understand your style 100%. Thank you.
My wife and I have been watching the channel for years. It’s our favorite since we enjoy cooking together. We’ve made so many of your dishes and look forward to trying this one also. Hanger Steaks DO Not make it That far down the line! You very rarely will find them in a grocery store. They are called Hanger steaks because the guys that hang the beef to break it down into primals, take them home for themselves! If you get ahold of a Hanger Steak, consider yourself lucky. ~Journeyman Meatcutter.

I love Sam's videos. I always get inspired to cook something. I recently made some blue cheese mashed potatoes with melted sharp cheddar cheese on top with bacon bits and a meatloaf.Then some corn with green and red peppers. Was really good
