$3K was too much, but $2K would have been tempting. You got a really good deal on the two that you picked up. I too had been trying to get a TOD 1 for a long time--and, I finally got one in CGC 7.5 with white pages. But, I paid a little more for it than you did for both of your books.
Yeah I would have done 1500-2000 that would have been about it. There was some nice stuff there, but nothing to make me have to have it. Think you got two of the best ones out of the bunch. I usually tell folks to focus on the keys and take what ever for the rest. Unless they want to put in the work to get fmv which will take time and patience.
I would have bought it 2000 and done the work, but that being said, I am also new to the hobby and trying to build up my collection. I am very NEW to the hobby. Great lesson for me thanks for putting in the time to do the video.

I agree with purchase. Target the highest grade key books. The others can be found from other sellers if you really want them.
