These videos are so calming and reminiscent of TH-cam before the platform became so formulaic. Not being sold anything, no background music, no divisive opinions or clock app references. Just personality, cool style & niche interest. Amazing. Top tier content
Yeah it's hard to find good, down to earth content like this nowadays. Or maybe I'm just getting to the age where I shake my fist at the latest generation.
He hasn’t posted anything on any of his channels in nearly 2 weeks. I thought he OD’d on that pot plant that he was growing. Happy to see you back Post 10 😜
As a certified septic inspector I highly recommend that you do not flush food like this down the toilet. It’s the same reason why garbage disposals are not recommended for private systems. The food stays suspended in the tank and is more likely to float past the baffle and clog up pipes in the leach field. Systems up here in Maine average 20k these days and I just wouldn’t chance it. Love your content though! Keep it up
The casual way this guy’s just taken out this jelly thing from the toilet without any gloves or a glimpse of hesitation made my day. Why, ain’t a big deal for the one that survived surstromming spraying. Superman.
I needed a pick me up. It’s always great seeing a vintage canned foods video. Thank you friend. You inspired me to start making videos. Keep up the great work. Hope you have a great day.
This is the content which makes me love this channel. It's interesting yet relaxing somehow. I'm sure these canned foods would have been pretty good eating when they were new.
Not Post 10 reaching bare-armed into the toilet to unclog the toilet, and in the same segment saying he's going to have to sterilize the container while he washes his hand and arm with only water 😂😂 Gotta love it 😂😂
The Larsen Company (strained asparagus for soup base) can touted a special "vacuum seal" for freshness that "worked like a pressure cooker. The company was one of the largest canned vegetable companies in Wisconsin.
This is the why of how I found this channel. I believe my first video of yours was opening the decades old canned corn (or maybe the canned tomatoes?). I enjoy the simplicity and wholesomeness of this channel 👍🏼
You are such a wonderful fascinatingly mysterious guy. Your interests inspire many people, and I love watching them because of how wholesome they are. Thank you! ❤
I really enjoy your videos on opening old canned foods; they capture a sort of survivalist vibe that fascinates me. When I rented my apartment a few years ago, I found that the previous tenant had left some old stuff, including a box of canned food about six years old. I opened them all to see what the food looked like. I found it interesting because my wife told me to throw them away, but I thought they might still be good :). That's when I discovered your channel.
I did a google search for the Larsen Canning Co. from Green Bay, Wisconsin. That's where the green puree stuff was canned at, from what I could find it looked like the canning section shut down in 1999. The stuff was at least 25 years I'd guess, once again another interesting video from you.
4:58 So cool to see that was from The Larsen Company here in Green Bay WI where i live. They were a huge part of our community for decades and they canned all sorts of things. They provided tons of jobs for a very long time until I think they merged with Dean back in the 80s or 90s. A very cool piece of Midwest history!
I love your videos! I also love how when you are opening something, you always say, we instead of I, making your videos seem more interactive. Keep up the good work.
The first UPC-marked item ever to be scanned at a retail checkout was a 10-pack (50 sticks) of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit chewing gum, purchased at the Marsh supermarket in Troy, Ohio, at 8:01 a.m. on 26 June 1974.
Hello new England wildlife, I absolutely love your content I’ve been watching you since about 2019 and it would be so cool to open old canned foods in person!
I think you're awesome. You have such a unique personality. I can't imagine a video of your's that I wouldn't find interesting and entertaining. You show your love for learning and enjoy teaching what you've learned. Don't worry about what the weirdos say. They'd be lucky to have a quarter of the knowledge you have. ❤
Fascinating stuff watching Post10 opening up extremely old cans of food, certainly knows what he’s doing too with the lead and heavy metals test kit. Personally wouldn’t touch any of the food myself dangerous or not but I guess in a survival situation it could be a matter of life or death.
I love your videos so much. You should try out really old twinkies to see if they really stand the test of time. I reckon that’d get a few clicks and you’re such an underrated channel you deserve so much more than this, your channel is just sitting waiting to blow up, im sure of it.
Old can opener should the old hand held ones. My parents always had it growing up. I think they had it since they where married in 1948 LOL They think was unbelievable. It would open any can.
Hahahaha Sir Post, I love your stuff but sometimes I wonder what it would look like if someone walked in on me watching this without context or if it was paused at the wrong moment, especially during the toilet flushing parts hahahaha! It's like "uhhh why are you watching a man plunge his hand in diarrhea?" Haha 😂
These videos are so calming and reminiscent of TH-cam before the platform became so formulaic. Not being sold anything, no background music, no divisive opinions or clock app references. Just personality, cool style & niche interest. Amazing. Top tier content
So true, that’s exactly what I was thinking myself.
Yeah it's hard to find good, down to earth content like this nowadays. Or maybe I'm just getting to the age where I shake my fist at the latest generation.

But poo is cool? 😎
@@CoreyandCrew Poo sinks after some time no? id imagine some foods don't? I could be wrong tho
I know he has some type of bacteria that breaks down whatever is left
Corn especially, it doesn't break down even through the human digestive system. 🌽

Good to see that you’re ok, it’s unlike you to not post for a week!
An enjoyable video as ever, thanks.
I gotta say, videos like this are so calming and just so pure
Love the wooden table
10:13 - Love how you wiped the green on the green!
"Vegetarian" vegetable soup with a chicken and rice recipe on the back! Gotta love it. 🤣

he’s bathed in ponds, he doesn’t mind
@sonialoves444 I'd imagine hiking in the woods and stumbling upon Post 10 yelling "MY SWAMP!" As he bathes in it.
Who’s Post 10?
@@Canofbeanstech5855this guys main channel is called post 10
I'm only 28 but when I hear "50 years ago" my mind still automatically thinks of the 1950s at first.
