They don't sound bad at all, surprisingly they sound really nice with the Duncan designed pickups, also i like the aesthetics of the jagmaster, it also sounds great with distortion too. That neck pickup cleans has to be my favourite from this guitar. Awesome review!
Looks awesome. Great playing too man. Hopefully, one of these days I'll be able to afford an electric guitar. When that day comes, something like this feels very appealing.
Ahh the late 90s when nu metal was starting to be the hot thing. It seemed the only offsets you could find were these, the tornado and the cyclone. This was about the time I started actually getting enough money to buy a guitar of choice. I went with the cyclone because it was close to a mustang. But I always was curious about these

I own a 2012 Jagmaster. it is my favorite guitar ever owned due to it being HH and having a short scale. I modified mine to get closer to Kurt Cobain specs.
super cool tone but can you make a nirvana tone in boss mt2. I watch your rig rundown 2020 and I see you have a mt2 and I noticed in your video you never played the mt2
Funny that I see this video, I just ordered a 96 off of guitar center and it’s coming either tomorrow or Thursday!!!!! And by the way those Duncan designed pick ups are actually stock all models of the Jagmaster came with Duncan pickups, they were meant to replicate the jbs in his mustangs funny enough, thought they would’ve went with super dists
I believe that the pickups would have been white if they were stock, I've never seen another Jagmaster with black ones. These guitars are really awesome, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
@@jq.guitarsnah he's right my 2010 standard series has black Duncan designed pickups in it. And also I believe your guitar isn't 24 inch scale length, that was introduced in the 2000 reissue so yours should be 25.5. I could be wrong cause there is a lot of confusion with the specs on these guitars, for example when I put my serial number on fenders website everything comes up right except for the fact that it says it has 22 frets. I wish it did and it's weird that a 2010 standard series even exists because they stopped making them in 2005 and then released the jagmaster ii with 22 frets. I know this is an old video just figured I'd tell ya what I know this was my main guitar for many years until recently I got a squier sonic strat.
They came with Duncan PUPs and he traded them for Duncan PUPs? Ugh. I have one with Dimarzio PUPs. Super Distortion and Super 2. Also added a true floating bridge made by Wilkenson. The model your playing has the short scale neck like the Jaguars.

I got my jagmaster as a husk years ago I put it back together with some humbuckers and fresh electronics and I love the thing

OHHH, mine is from 2006, but i really want to modify to get close to the actual jaguar sound, what changes did you make in yours?
@@ferralux8675 i switched out the pickups to seymour duncan SH-6 and replaced the pots to cts ones.
I have one . Use it for certain recordings . Really good guitar for the money .

Came with duncan designed pickups, not real duncans.
