@@akcyclesjust bought the m4 for my 2023 zx10r and can't wait. Now do you need a servo buddy or can you simply unhook the cables from the servo motor??

Dang, I really need to see what you did with the butterfly valve cables underneath the seat

Sorry I thought that was in there. They were fully removed. Nice thing is you can keep the module plugged in and have the cables removed and it will not throw a code so you should not need a servo buddy.

Did the m4 come with all the rest of the exhaust pipe. I only saw you pull the final slip on end piece muffler out of the box?

i know this video is over a year old now but wondering if you could answer a couple questions for me as im looking to install a full m4 system on my 2023 zx10r. the servo buddy/removal of the servo isn't needed on these with a full exhaust install? and also regarding the baffles, ive seen other videos where people bikes surge and feel like they're going to stall out at low speeds ONLY when they have the baffles out, even with a flash. is this true or is the flash their getting not accounting for the removed baffles? thanks in advance!

For the new zx10r you do not need a servo buddy if you just leave the stock motor in place with the cables removed. If you want the motor removed you should be able to have that disabled in a flash so you don't get a check engine light.
We did not notice any stalling issues with the pipe before or after a tune. It had no tune for about a year and no issues. It does have a low idle but I do not think the baffle in or out makes a difference with that. It does supposedly make a big difference on power according to some dyno tuners. I recommend taking it out. The exhaust is loud no matter what and the longer the baffle is in the harder it will be to remove later, just a nature of the M4 GP pipes. I would say people are just not getting the best tunes. I always recommend a local dyno tuner over mail in ones but the Moore Mafia tune was pretty good.

It is highly recommended yes. The bike still runs ok without one, but a little rough at idle. Thankfully now you can get an ECU flash or out a power commander on these bike. Took a while for those to come to the market. We will have a tune review soon 👍

The M4 baffles always lose about 8-10 HP on top at least 12-14 in the midrange verified on dyno. Once you take them out you will gain the 12-14 HP in the midrange with a flash and ~3-4 HP over stock on top. This goes for the Street Slayer and GP mufflers…
