    Since you liked my feedback on other videos, i figured I would comment my opinion. I love the mixed between regular time and 4x speed. I don’t think you are annoying at all in your videos. You are very kind and seem like a sweet guy. I love your accent & how you’re always wearing Houston shirts. I’m from West Virginia so I’m always repping where I’m from. I think you should talk more in your videos and educate us more because you seem like an expert. I can tell you’ve done this for a long time and you do an amazing job. Would love to come to TX one day and watch you detail in person. Would even help you record for free :) thanks so much for all of your advice and help. It’s unbelievably appreciated. My grandpa is very particular about his car and he just got a brand new equinox with the synthetic fiber seats. He’s almost 70 so I try to help clean his car often. Will definitely be watching your videos daily even if I have to watch them a million times. Practice makes perfect :D

    The ASMR effect is golden little talk, normal speed, brushes, motor, spray bottle sounds. This helps some people sleep and feel very relaxed. Your vids could reach far more than who you want to target. Far more seek ASMR experience than those desiring to detail cars for a living. There are shoe shine asmr videos with dudes making some bank.

    1. Without the talking for people who just enjoy cleaning vids
    2. With a voiceover with whatever helpful tips you give.
    You could use the same film and post them together. You don't have to do it (obv bc it's your channel) just thought I'd give the idea. It could reach a broader audience

    Nice video! There's something oddly satisfying about the sound of the scrub brush on a door panel at 2x or 4x LOL.
    Have you tried steaming cloth seats before you do the agitation? I'm curious if that would make the product work better by heating up the fabric and in turn opening up the fibers. I could be wrong, but just curious!

    • @GageDrums
      @GageDrums 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've seen Larry from Ammo NYC do that also. He makes some very informative videos if you haven't seen his yet but he steams first to open the the fibers to clean easier. I'd say either way, whichever you please!

    I'm not looking to start a detailing business as a primary source of income, just as a secondary source of income. What do you think about offering interior detailing only... since my vehicle isn't equipped for large tanks that would enable me to do car washes as a mobile detailer? I suppose I could offer washes if their home is set up w/a hose, though? What is your professional opinion on this?

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      DO IT. Don't get stuck in overanalyzing. Yes, interior cleanings will be a great service to offer. I don't carry water tank/pressure washer. I use Optimum No Rinse (ONR) for washing (rinseless washing).

    Great video! Love the channel!
    I'm not trying to sound like a hater, but as a fellow detailer you missed an important step after cleaning the upholstery and carpet... extracting the water/cleaner and residue with a shop vac. Plain and simple, a microfiber towel isn't enough. The cleaner just dilutes the dirt and both the cleaner and dirt stay embedded in the pile of the carpet. What happens is the residue attracts more dirt and leaves the pile crusty. I use a methodical stepper process... vacuum, pretreat, water, agitation, steam and/or extraction. This is especially important with road salt residue on carpet. Carpet cleaner will not remove without ruining the pile, discoloration or leaving behind residue. Vinegar has the ability to achieve the goal and leaves nothing behind.
    Believe it or not I practically use entirely steam or a vinegar solution on all my interior detailing.
    Like exterior paint correction, interior detailing is a delicate art.

      ArsonWithWater hey buddy, Facebook is your best friend! I’m a mobile detailer and I started about 1-2 years ago and only use Facebook. Look up a bunch of groups in local towns or cities, join them and then post ads for your business! Post them every few days and make sure to join groups with lots of people so you have a larger audience. You’ll have customers in no time. Make a Facebook business page too. Let me know your link and I’ll hook you up with a good review 👍🏻 hope it helps

      How do mate I've recently started on my own too, the way I started was getting a business Facebook page, business was manic for a few week then went quiet :( I started putting 10% offers on and custom started coming in, when I moved to a new address I posted leaflets through every door I could and left them in shops too, now business is booming lol. All's I can advise is to be persistent and don't give up, when your pages start filling up with photos and reviews (i make sure i ask them to leave a review) you'll notice more people enquiring and more of the higher end cars wanting to be done,
