    You have to give automakers credit for their research and development of fabrics that repel stains. This interior cleaned up so well you can barely see any trace of how bad it was. I can only imagine what it must have smelled like! Great job - the downside of reviving a repo like this is that the next owner has no idea how bad the car was before he got it.

      That is exactly what I was thinking!! Who would even want to sit on a seat that looks like that? I would have to wear a full body plastic suit before entering that car. Not to mention I could only imagine what it smelled like.

      Most of the mess is staged. The colored stains are washable paint. That's why it comes out so easily.

    Part of me wonders if someone with special needs was in this car a lot, not just kids; another part wonders if the owners were just living in this thing for a while; and another part wonders if this was a "lawn ornament" before the repo and the kids just used it like a big playhouse. In any case, you did an incredible job of restoring this car to a much better condition, and I hope it stays that way for a long, long time.

    I noticed you spraying a bit of high pressure water in the complete engine compartment before putting that degreaser on it. Is that no longer an issue with regards to getting those connectors and alternator wet without covering anything up now to avoid issues later with things not running correctly??

    I don't understand how the inside could be that bad, but the outside could look that good. It doesn't pass the sniff test. That said, you guys do a great job.

    Just curious as I have no knowledge about cars or it’s interior, how comes you don’t spray all the seats with the solution and let it sit for a while to break down the dirt? As it seems like you spray, brush it in then suck it up straight away.

      @@outlander_... thanks. I’ve heard of that solution but think it works best if the gum’s not embedded into the fabric like my son’s car was. I got it off using Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover followed by a wet shampoo / vacuum.

      I bought a older man's truck couple years ago the interior was tan but the drivers seat belt was black from cigar smoke! A friend a took a day gutted the interior except the dash we scrubbed everything with all kinda cleaners but I remember the seat belt was so bad i ended up just a ordering a new one as the old one the fabric just so dry rotted as I was steam cleaning it

    Question…what product would you suggest for cleaning leather seats in a 1980 corvette that unfortunately sat for a number of years and has developed some mould… we used an iso alcohol/water mix but I want to make sure it won’t come back. Thank you 😊

    Nice video! Great editing. Question: i recently spent 1.5 hours trying to remove pet hair from a 2013 VW jetta wagon, with about 80% success. I used one of those porous car detailing bones . Any ideas on getting out the additional 20%?

    Just bought a bunch of product off your site!! Gave my car an exterior wash to test everything out. Fantastic!! Question though, where would you suggest I use the MAD ACID product? I know it says avoid aluminum

    Instead of judging others, I think we should show them kindness. Things happen, life happens, and sometimes people just put things like their cars on the back burner because they have other things going on. At least they brought it in to get it cleaned! Great job cleaning it up and making it look brand new again, it looks amazing and I know that they are very grateful!❤❤

    CHICAGO, IL - Wow! What a transformation! I noticed you cleaned under the hood. Can I use your product and the power wash wand at a do-it- yourself car wash? If so, can I cover the battery and terminal and cables with a heavy duty plastic bag. Not technically inclined so don’t want to disconnect the battery 😱.

      I say the same thing. I also noticed that in almost every trashed and "repossessed" car there are the same "pink" colored stains on the seats and carpets. And like the other person said, the stains come right out after 2 passes.

    I have seen some detailers extend the seatbelt to its maximum then close the door so it can't retract and then clean it with the extractor- that seemed to be easier than with the steamer...? Love your videos 🫶

      I sometimes extent the seatbeat to the max and then pressure wash it outside of the door close.
