I'm a born in KC chiefs fan and if we don't win it I really hope Lamar gets him one. He is about to get his 2nd MVP and I still feel like he is underappreciated To me if we remove the Injury last season. I have been saying Lamar is the 2nd best QB since Mahomes became a starter, but everyone jumped the gun on guys like Joe Burrow, Josh Allen & Herbert. None of them have MVP's or been the #1 Seed. Lamar didn’t have receivers, so he ended up carrying the Ravens by his ability to run. People criticized him for just being a running quarterback and questioned his ability to throw.
Mahomes always had receivers, let alone a future HOF TE, whose issue right now is they keep dropping passes.
The thing is, the dropped passes makes Mahomes look better because of the perception that it’s not on him whereas in Lamar’s case, he just didn’t have any receiver (at least not to the ability of Tyreek Hill) to throw to and would just run.
