Sorry, but you are mistaken. The Jordan 10s and the Jordan 2s do not have the same midsoles. The Jordan 2s use a polyurethane midsole, same as the Jordans from 3 to 9, but the Jordan 10s already use a phylon midsole, which DOES NOT crumble. Only jordans from 2 to 9 have crumbling midsoles because of the polyurethane. Jordan 10 onwards already use phylon or EVA.

@Quid Khan when you wear your shoes they get exposed to different air and the squishing from walking actually pushes and pulls air and moisture out of the shoe. When they sit they basically go stagnant. Like in a box in a closet. They are trapped in a space where the moisture settles and basically soaks into the shoe and begins to break down the Polyurethane. Heat speeds the process up even more. Heat + moisture = Hydrolysis. Shoes in a very humid hot climate have a much shorter lifespan than say a dryer and cooler environment
EVA midsole is the best , it doesn't crumble like most of nike air's foam looalike midsoles
