Thanks for sharing all this. I have the Mini and a Mini 5 that I use as a daily wallet. I love them both. I use a Kaweco brass liliput pen in my mini 5 and a kaweco supra brass for my mini. They both have a clip and I found if you just tighten the ring up a bit before slipping it on the pens it has been great with the plotter pen loops. The video is a great help for all the options plotter has. I found the Repesco punch works great for both plotters.
@@rc17268 I admit I have a brass in every type of Kaweco and use them as my daily driver go everywhere pens. They patina so awesome and are indestructible. All my other pens ride around in a case. The brass kaweco are out in the wild. Love them worth every penny.
Do they both work well as a wallet? Is one better than the other? I’ve been wanting something that I can essentially turn square good notecards into “pages” with. I have a passport sized travelers notebook that I use as a wallet and I unfortunately don’t ever feel inclined to write in it. I’d say it’s because maybe it’s too small, but I write on notecards all the time. Do you like the plotter system?
@Shmyrk Either size works very well in my opinion. I just like the Mini 5 since it is just a bit smaller for the everyday wallet/notes. I still use the Mini but it lives in my computer bag.
I feel the same way about a bound notebook -once you have 5 or 6 pages from something else, it's tough to try and use it for something else. I love systems like this with removable pages. And I can't resist a good leather cover too. So, I like Plotter - I have a mini 6, but I think my favorite is William Hannah. Similar price range, but I like the paper better and the color options because they have an inner suede lining too. I just made an unboxing and review video on those because I feel like they are less well known. Great video, I like that you have dedicated notebooks for different things, makes so much sense.
When I was watching your video and you started comparing leathers and then hole sizes?! **swoon** I loved the video. Thank you so much for such detailed info on your Plotters! 🙏🏼 ❤ 😊
Hi Robyn, I’ve been a Gillio tragic for years (as I think you have). I’m just learning about Plotter, their slim profile and portability. Your video’s been so helpful. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks for your review video! I've wanted a Plotter for a long time, but the price has kept me from buying it. I’ve also come across Plotter alternatives like Wuzhi and MeePlus. Have you made a video comparing these three?
@@cancoi3164 I’ve been wanting to make more content… struggling getting going again for a variety of reasons. I’ll put that topic on my content idea list, though! Thank you!

Hi, I am planning to purchase a Plotter Planner in Bible size and in black color, but I'm having trouble deciding which leather type would be better. I'm torn between the Liscio Black and Pueblo Black. Which leather would you suggest for a balance of durability and aesthetics? Thanks in advance for your advice!
@@tharani2364 hi! Not sure I’m comfortable giving a recommendation-each person’s use will uniquely impact a leather’s appearance…and the characteristics I love might not be your jam. I think all will fare well with normal use! I’d recommend to go to the Plotter web site and read their descriptions for each leather. Sorry to not be helpful!
Thanks for the inspiration. I love my Weeks but needed the rings of a Plotter. I do have a question with the punch you mentioned (& I have): The Narrow size is the Personal on the punch, correct? Did you just use one side and flip them?
Yes, I do punch then flip. That punch is tricky!!! I STRONGLY recommend practicing on some scratch paper cut to the narrow/personal height. If I use the guidelines on the punch, it is off. I also found the silver dots on my punch DO make the punches line up correctly! I’ll try to make a video…. Do you have personal/narrow pre-punched pages of any kind?
@@rc17268 Yes, I did practice & finally found the right little mark (between the Personal & A6 ) and made a tick with a marker. That seemed to work perfectly.
Finally i start to learn about Plotter so thank you for this video. I have a question, does all of the weeks in Hobbonichi Weeks fit in a plotter (only weeks not the notes) Or you can only have a few at the time?
Hi, thanks for this video! Does the mini5 and the bible sized holes in pages align ? I’d like to use the mini5 as a pocket notebook and the bible one to develop thougths and wonder of they can all be stored in the same archive. Thanks in advanced for letting me Know! Keep up your good work
Hi. Found your video really helpful. I’m considering moving from Roterfaden to Plotter. Loved your find at Amazon-Japan. What color is that plotter? I’m trying to decide between the dark and light brown in the Pueblo leather.
I am looking at purchasing my first plotter mini 5. I was hoping you could point me in a direction to help with finding accessories for it. Like dividers. If most things are homemade what do you use as a hole punch? (Assuming it isn’t a standard size hole) I am also trying to decide being the Pueblo and Bridle leather. I cannot seem to find a video detailing their differences. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

10 month after trying your solution are you happy with this? Because I experienced the same problem with note books and I still haven't find the solution. And I don't want to invest in Plotter if on the long run it is not working. Also how can I purchase "pre-loved" ones? Thank you!
I use my mini 5 binders the most. Others are currently not being used (I go through “seasons” of use/shelf). There are FB and Reddit groups that have pre-loved pop up on; otherwise, EBay, Mercari & Poshmark are good places to look.
@@janiekcarney5482 there is a way to order things from Amazon Japan-you need to switch the country & create an account.
